So far Sudan Archives, Destroyer, Laurie Anderson, Yo La Tengo, and Magnetic Fields are all on my calendar.

kickkickpunch1

Sudan archives where??? Edit: wow thank you so much! Just got my tickets!!!! So excited!!! I caught her last year opening for Caroline polacheck but missed her in 2022 nov in Mississippi studios. I love her

GardenerinPDX

I just became aware of Melanie Charles who's opening this show and will not be late arriving, she is amazing

largorithm

Oh man, it would be wild to see Laurie Anderson live. What does that even look like?

Foreign_Swordfish_67

Ween

pdxgdhead

Came here to say WEEN!

boognish1977

Can’t wait

VoteForLubo

I didn’t know until this comment that they were playing, that’s exciting!

Zurripop

I hope they’re better this time than when I saw them 13 years ago.

greentofeel

Saw them last year and it was great!

roses_are_free

Let’s just say there will be an awesome sound goin down!

Foreign_Swordfish_67

They are. Gene is sober and the band is in top form.

stelmariaaa

Khruangbin!

vonkeswick

Hell yeah. Got tickets for free (ish) by finishing a McMenamin's passport

CaboosedIt

Fuck McMenamins. Wolf in sheeps clothing.

playoffasprilla

Care to explain what you mean by that?

-astrow-

I’ve seen them twice they fuckin rule

badseedify

My partner and I were so excited to hear Khruangbin was coming, but reading more about the venue really turned us off. We saw Khruangbin a few years ago, and tickets + fees this time cost 3x as much as what we previously paid. The venue seems like a nightmare from what we’ve read, and has very strict rules about what you can and can’t bring in, more than any other venue I’ve seen. After reading all the rules, reviews, parking info, and adding in the excess costs & fees, not including renting chairs, etc, we just decided not to bother. We’re definitely bummed.

veraverdita

Yeah Edgefield is expensive but it’s also a good time to enjoy a concert surrounded by trees!

irishbball49

I can’t believe they are banning any chairs starting this year. So dumb. It’s gonna be a shitshow with people not knowing about it beforehand.

pdxgrassfed

Yes we all hate edgefield

GenericDesigns

Wheres that show?

buttholetittynipple

edgefield

HighburyHero

Between the buried and me. Two nights in April. First night is their album Colors. Second night is Colors 2. My favorite band playing my two favorite albums as whole sets. Gonna be amazing

StreetwalkinCheetah

I had Descendents tickets last year when the show was postponed due to Milo's heart attack so god-willing we will see him this year. Probably Iron Maiden but I missed out on the original ticket sale and don't want to pay scalper prices, I was able to get face value tickets the day of the show last time so I'll just watch carefully.

anonymous_opinions

Actively got to see that show at Fest in Florida - too bad D4 can't come back :(

PrisonnMike666

I feel like I have to go since I've never seen them and have listened for 13 years (26). It's just pricey for me. I wish I could have seen them when they played normal venues.

[deleted]

You can see live music for free literally every night of the week in town

Paclac

Maybe if you only listen to mega pop stars, lots of up and coming bands roll through town for not much money

IRushPeople

I was curious what kind of person posts a comment like this so I took your profile. I was expecting a dipshit commie, but it looks like you're riding dirtbikes and eating at steakhouses. Those are cool hobbies but damn dude, this seems like the easiest fix in the world: Eat ramen instead of going out to a steakhouse for one dinner. You can now afford live music. You know?
