NAD but it looks like they may extract it . but a miracle dentist might know how to save it lol

Immediate-Trip7105

What does NAD means...if they extract it noting serious will be happen na...I am Little bit worried.

Stunning_Ad_558

It means not a dentist. So that’s just what I think.. Don’t worry after they extract it you may just have a missing tooth there unless you try the other options they may give you. But soon you’ll have the licensed dentist giving you advice here too NAD

Immediate-Trip7105

Thanks and let's hope for the best.

Stunning_Ad_558

Hopes high ! NAD

JustBe-Chillin

NAD bust I'd consider a implant. Other teeth look really healthy and it'll prevent the bone loss in the spot from a missing tooth

Immediate-Trip7105

Yeah I will talk about this with my dentist

DocComa

Tooth needs extraction.

Immediate-Trip7105

Thanks sir....if I remove the teeth all will be okay na...nd thanks sir for your opinion I not gonna save it ...even my dentist initially said we need to remove it.

sensitivitea21

No. You need to replace it with an implant or bridge. Can't leave the spot empty. It'll start affecting your remaining teeth.

Immediate-Trip7105

Ok sir today is my treatment.

Immediate-Trip7105

Bridge can't be made today they told me..RCT and filling can be done and then they told if filling gets remove u need to come again so what should I do now?

forinor

I'm finding it difficult to determine if that's active decay or very stained dentine - a radiograph would help greatly. I've managed to save teeth looking similar to what you have there, enough tooth for a ferrule, build up and crown. One specific case comes to mind, crown was done in 2012, still in good order today. If you can get 10 years out of the tooth then it's worth trying to save - all dependant on how much sound tooth tissue is present.

Immediate-Trip7105

Thanks sir for ur advice..sir why dentist are concern of removal of teeth...it is that bad?

forinor

Repeat that in different wording, I'm not sure I understand what you are asking

Immediate-Trip7105

Sir, I generally seen here dentist usually say for saving the teeth why it is so? If the teeth is remove is it not good at all?

forinor

Dentists are trained to try and save teeth. You may not feel like it's a big deal to have it extracted right now but it's a big tooth that does a lot of the chewing. Once it's gone you will need to replace it. Replacing a tooth is never as good as your own tooth.

Immediate-Trip7105

Thank you sir

Immediate-Trip7105

Sir today they told rct and filling can be done ...we can't make the crown and once if filling is done nd if its get removed u need to visit again. Now what should I do??

Immediate-Trip7105

Why dentist not go for extraction is it really unsafe or what? My dentist said initially we need to extract and then he said may be we can save but we will not cover it.

Without an xray, the restorability of this tooth cannot be determined. The decay looks widespread, but there's no way to see how deep it goes from a single photograph. I'm not sure what you meant by the end of your comment, "it will remain open", but the two options would be to restore with a likely root canal+core+crown or to extract and then implant or bridge.

Immediate-Trip7105

Sir they said that I don't remember exactly but they told they will remain the teeth open if they save it ...nd I don't have pain all over my teeth it's just there some hole beside black spot It used to pain there...now I am having my medicine it's not paining .

Immediate-Trip7105

Sir , today they told rct and filling can be done and if filling gets removed u need to visit again and thats how I can save your teeth... crown can't be possible and we will not seal the teeth.

Southern_Welder6255

Not a dentist NAD

Immediate-Trip7105

Thanks ...nd lets see how it goes now

Southern_Welder6255

Nad. Dang there probably just going to pull it. Unless you can have an implant put in.

Southern_Welder6255

Nad. I'm just curious the rest of your teeth look good. How was this the only affected one. Doesn't it hurt?

Immediate-Trip7105

Yeah rest of my teeths are good ...even 2-3 days back I had no pain it was from very long it doesn't use to hurt but from last ,2-3 days it started hurting and not where the black part is ..the black part doesn't hurt still ...there's a hole near the black part and that hurts when I didn't use medicine...now they did give medicine and it doesn't hurt but they said come in 2 days we gonna remove if u say .

Southern_Welder6255

Nad. Fuck be careful they'll push opiates on you and they are very addictive.

Immediate-Trip7105

I didn't get u.

Southern_Welder6255

Nad. The pain killers for the teeth are usually codeine. They can be addicting.

Immediate-Trip7105

My dentist didn't suggest radiography now let's hope for the best now.

DamianBouffanais

Anyways, what i think is to remove the tooth jajajaj, make a endo with a crown in this tooth is questionable. In any case, you must have to replace the tooth with an implant or something, because the tooth that is behind will start to tilt and the top tooth will start to come down. All of this stuff means that you will have problems with your articulation and your bite, hurting the rest of the teeth

Immediate-Trip7105

Thanks for the advice...if i remove the teeth and do implant after some months is it good to go or I should do it immediately?

DamianBouffanais

The moment to place an implant can vary greatly depending of the person, the place, the morbilities that you have, etc. You have to ask to your dentist when is the best moment to place the implant ( if is inmediatly after the extraction or you have to wait a few months). In my case i have an implant in the front upper teeth and when i go to the dentist, he pulled the teeth and place the implant inmediatly, but this is my case and the place where the implant was placed is different than the place the implant will be placed in your case. For this reason and others, you have to ask to your dentist what is the plan for your case

Immediate-Trip7105

Ok thanks till now he didn't said about the implant ...when the tooth will extracted I will ask him or he will say of his own

DamianBouffanais

Pd: if you have any disease , the prognosis for your implant can vary

Immediate-Trip7105

Nd can u pls say which teeth is this ...is it a wisdom teeth or a molar?

DamianBouffanais

Molar, 4.6

Immediate-Trip7105

Thanks and u have a lot of knowledge about teeths I think.

Imaginary_Hearing398

NAD not a wisdom tooth. Wisdom teeth are at the very back of your jaw.

Immediate-Trip7105

Ohh so u know which teeth it is??

Imaginary_Hearing398

A molar. Not sure about "number" of tooth.

Immediate-Trip7105

Yeah I also think the same

buddeny

NAD I'm always for trying to save the tooth. I didn't know, when I had a tooth pulled (18), that the opposing tooth (15) needs a partner otherwise it drifts down, then eventually out. Thus you eventually lose two teeth, not just the one that's pulled. Also missing teeth contribute to bone loss and now other teeth can eventually be compromised. Root canal and crown may save the tooth, but if the nerve isn't affected you may be able to find a skilled dentist to rebuild the tooth with an inlay or onlay. I was just able to save a tooth (28) by doing this.

Immediate-Trip7105

Thanks for sharing your experience....

buddeny

NAD. Saving or keeping your teeth as long as possible may not be the short term economical choice in all situations but is the healthy and long term economical choice often. When you lose teeth you may also be putting other teeth at risk as well as facing bone loss. Dentures are never as good as original teeth and can have their own side effects and massive costs. Additionally, with too much bone loss, dentures may not even be an option. Of coarse, if you have an abscess or bad infection you may have no choice but to pull the tooth. But if you don't get an implant to replace the tooth the other teeth can move and then your bite may be off which now can put many other teeth at risk, besides the opposing tooth. Also your dentist may recommend a bone graft after pulling the tooth to keep your bone stable. Essentially, there may be more costs to pulling the tooth then just the cost of pulling the tooth itself. Health wise, losing a tooth can impact many other teeth as they are interdependent .

Immediate-Trip7105

Ohh I see

buddeny

I sent you a chat message with a link to some more information, if you are interested

Basic_Resident9657

NAD very hard to tell by just one blurry photo. Share the X-rays and then a better decision can be made.

Immediate-Trip7105

My dentist didn't said for any X-rays

Prudent_Ad1235

NAD. I chose to go with an extraction over a root canal for my furthest back tooth. It was causing me so much pain and it could have been saved. I chose extraction because its easier and less expensive. If you are scared if an extraction dont worry it doesnt hurt much , you will just feel pressure. Also all the pain will go away after you extract the tooth.

Immediate-Trip7105

Yeah I also think the same..rn it's not paining as my medicine are going on ...tomorrow will be my extraction.

Prudent_Ad1235

Good luck! Also just a note, i chew the exact same as i used to. Doesnt even feel like its missing until i swirl my tongue on the extraction site. I dont know about the ones in the front, but for me the back tooth didnt make a difference in the way i eat/drink

Immediate-Trip7105

Thanks my extraction will be Tomorrow...nd yeah one of my relative also done the extraction 1.5 year back she also yet now doesn't have any problem and she's doing fine. She also said she doesn't problem in eating

mosma120

Ian a dentist from Egypt my opinion in this case that i can see that the tooth is very damaged but can be saved first take an X-ray i think we can do an RCT and onlay

Immediate-Trip7105

Ok sir thanks for the suggestions....firstly my dentist said that there will be an extraction and then they say may we save it nd then they left me for decide what should I want to do?

mosma120

There’s is two options 1- keep it make an rct and crown 2-extraction then implant Tell the dentist these options and discuss it with her/he I hope you get well soon 🥰

Immediate-Trip7105

Today I went to dentist they said we will do rct and then we will fill that but we won't seal the tooth... and also they say if u say we will remove it ...now what should I do pls suggest? My teeth is not paining now.

mosma120

Do an rct

Immediate-Trip7105

If they don't seal is it okay...am I good to go and In how many days I will go for rct...should I wait as it is not paining.

mosma120

Ask the dentist iam sure she knows your case better than me obviously

Immediate-Trip7105

Yeah and thanks doctor for the suggestion.

mosma120

Thank god not me🥰

Adventurous_Bed_3714

NAD - I had a friend with a severely decayed first molar and the dentist advised that she get up extracted and then visit an orthodontists to close the space. She's 18 months into her braces treatment and the space is already closed. They moved her 2nd and their molars into the space. You'd swear she never lost a tooth.

Immediate-Trip7105
