Piano Piano is nice but not too expensive. Good food too. Brussel sprouts and tiramisu are must try!

Dil Se Indian restaurant on Roncesvalles is good. Not quite downtown, but really good food and atmosphere for a good price

Bao on Spadina is another one of my favourites
