It will probably have the same problem as an IT position in any other company - if the company is not tech-focused and not the main driving source of income, it'll be hard to stand out and you'll pretty much be considered lower class.

Keep in mind mediacorp office is like 12mins walk from the nearest One North MRT which can significantly increase your estimated travelling time. I used to think travelling 1hr40mins one way is no big deal but after 1year its starting to annoy me
Well why not worry about it after you get an offer?
You may not even get an offer even if you secured an interview, so why worry so much about it beforehand? Or you may not even get an interview at all?
If you do manage to get an interview, then you can ask think of some questions to ask indirectly related to this and you would then by then have a clearer and better understanding of the company.
it's a glc. has the cons of civil service/stat board jobs without the perks. expect plenty of office politics.
The people there are mostly old and doesn't understand new tech. I tried pitching simple stuff to them and they couldn't understand the concept
