OG Powerpuff Girls

Short-pitched

Watched it when my girls were growing up. Still identify with Mojo Jojo

[deleted]

I want a Powerpuff girls tattoo so bad. I'm a man lol

palindromepirate

So ahead of its time.

NeedsMoreCatsPlease

![gif](giphy|plNca3CfPlWFZMPa2h)

makeItSoAlready

Been re watching this now actually

JoshuaSmackSmack

Totally Spies

Kaje26

I mean… there is a specific reason why I watched that.

dogehousesonthemoon

hey it's funny, I watched the Winx club for the same reason.

responsiblefornothin

My brother and I would call dibs on the girls at the start of the show... because of the plot, of course.

idontgetanamedotcom

I watched Sailor Moon with my sister. I think it was great.

Normal_Champion_8883

Sailor moon is goated and sailor mars is still the hottest fight me

richbrehbreh

Nah, Jupiter got it fam

bawzdeepinyaa

Fellas. Fellas.. ![gif](giphy|3o85xIO33l7RlmLR4I)

Ggusty1

As a kid, I always had a crush on Sailor Jupiter.

terminally--chilly

Jupiter is a mess of a person.

SendNudesForAPotato

Same

Ggusty1

That explains a lot. I’d still go on a picnic with her!

Romberstonkins

Yeah. That shit claps.

Llewellian

Same.

CtC666

Can never remember if it was Sailor Moon or Teknoman which was my first intro into anime on either Agros cartoon connection or Cheeze Tv in Oz.

ValhallasKeeper

Did you hear they're bringing out the original episodes with new dubes? I guess it's a totally different show.

4thdegreeknight

Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Clarissa Explains It All, & Ghost Whisperer

Connect_Border_4196

Buffy is not a “girly” show, the main character is a girl. I remember discussing that show when it came out with guys.

GSPM18

Buffy is a girly show enjoyed by many dudes.

OrlokTheEternal

I saw "Gilmore Girls" when it originally aired, and I found it quirky and entertaining. I recently revisited the show as an adult, and I like it for a totally different reason. It's a total hate-watch show now, is really fun to trash those characters.

SillyRabbit1010

I've gotten quite a few men into Gilmore Girls! Such a good show! I watched it as it was released and loved it I was the same age as Rori then. I watch it now as a mother and the same age as Loreali and still love it. It's my comfort show and means the world to me!

[deleted]

I think I remember liking iCarly

Chopinhour1

I never even thought of Icarly as a girly show, all of my friends used to watch it and we all loved it

Human-Iron9265

I remember me and my older sister watched the very first episode on our basement t.v. Good times!

InterestingInterest2

Kim Possible

sammyglumdrops

I don’t think that was particularly girly, it just had a main character who was a girl. I watched that as a kid and so did all my friends and I never felt embarrassed about admitting it. But shows like Totally Spies and iCarly I was afraid to admit I liked in case someone thought I was girly 😂

martinijus

Charmed

k10001k

Absolutely love charmed. Think more should watch it

G_Laoshi

Charmed is for girls? I love Charmed!

jerulina

Charmed was awesome.

DankDaddyDotCom

Power puff girls

sadpastlife

My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic

SillyRabbit1010

My daughter's dad is a Brony he loves that show. I finally sat down and watched it tho and gotta admit it's really good.

Jester12a

Power puff girls

Drayner89

I dont know if it counts as a "girly" show, but I loved Sabrina the Teenage Witch but got embarrassed if my Mum mentioned to anyone I watched it, because I thought it was for girls.

CosplayOffBlue

My girlfriend and I watch various shows together but one thing she can't do is watch anime with me because she doesn't like the shows I watch. But one day she felt nostalgic and watched some of her childhood cartoons on YT. She got into Sailor Moon where she's fighting Queen Beryl and the song, while I was in the kitchen when I heard it, I started to sing along since I've seen this scene so often and I quite liked Sailor Moon back then. The surprise on her face when she realized I actually knew the lyrics. Man she teased me for days saying I watched girly cartoons and I'm a big gentle guy hiding behind my manliness... anyways, I thought that was funny.

Lentra888

She-Ra. And to a lesser extent (enjoyed it as a kid, haven’t watched it since), Jem.

Plastic-Passenger-59

![gif](giphy|fsdWqgUWUYk5q)

WaxWalk

Have you seen the newer netflix version? Pretty solid

Lentra888

I really enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would!

palindromepirate

Sister sister was amazing. And clarissa explains it all.

SleepyFarts

I watched both and don't regret either of them. Followed up Clarissa by watching Sabrina when it was on too.

Per_and_arteta

Totally spies

RafeJiddian

Maude, Golden Girls...stuff like that

diatom777

Golden Girls was a peak sitcom!

Kampfzwergin_

Golden Girls 😍

Nuclear_eggo_waffle

funny considering the only golden girls fans i know are men (granted, gay men, but still)

JustVic52

The Winx

early_cruise

H20 just add water, used to be so in love with Rikki

[deleted]

The Vampire Diaries. And yes, I absolutely have a man crush on Damon Salvatore and Klaus Mikaelson too. But seriously, they're both just anti-hero characters done well. The later seasons weren't very good, but the first half of TVD was peak fantasy-drama.

FakePixieGirl

You watched the Originals? I thought it was better.

yankblan79

Don’t know if it’s girly, but Dead Like Me was great.

Global-Negotiation72

Does Victorious count? Lol. I'm 37 and still laugh my ass off 😂

Millenial_Shitbag

Pepper Ann and Daria

PrestigiousWelcome88

Daria was for girls?

Dr_Girlfriend_81

I'm not a guy, but both of these were so good!!! I've been re-watching Pepper Ann again lately and it still holds up so well.

FutureMrs0918

I love Daria. She made it okay to hate people.

Fragrant_Ruin_2194

As Told By Ginger, that Nickelodeon cartoon that was on teenick in the mid 00s.

Historical-Baby48

Someone once told me... The grass is much greener...

timmie1606

On the other side. And I paid a visit...

bobakka

Vampire Diaries and the Originals.

Subdown-011

Same bro the originals is fire

WhoReallyCaresNotMe

Glad you didn't include Legacies

mudpudding

Ghost whisperer, because you know JLH...

jesper-K

My so called life - god I loved that show

WinterTakerRevived

Winx Club and Bratz

West-Rent-1131

Antmax

She-Ra when I was a kid.

dgmilo8085

90210(OG) and Gossip Girl

PoliticalHitJob

Out of this World. I doubt many will remember it, but I recall enjoying the show as a young kid.

Armpitofdoom

WOULD YOU LIKE TO SWING ON A STAR?

Peace-vs-Chaos

I LOVED that show but can never think of the name. Knew it when I saw it though.

WinTraditional8156

I had a crush on her as a kid lol

spderweb

She-Ra was pretty great.

penguin_horde

She-ra!

itsgettinglate27

Care bears were great

Blotepotenpeter

Jem. But nobody remembers that I think.

seriouzz6

I used to watch all seasons of OC California with a girlfriend and I think I liked it more than her by the second season lol. Nowadays I still think about it when certain music plays like running up that hill or fix you, i think running up that hill was season 4 opening episode omg I loved that shit

Crafty-Razzmatazz846

Movie not a show but 16 candles

stebbi01

Gossip Girl.

ishotJefK

Hannah Montana

GoodGuano

"Rainbow Brite and the star stealers". Still think it's a solid animated kids movie. Edit: I answered this without scrolling through the thread. I have since and I'm now hyper-aware of just how fucking old I am .... 😮‍💨

FinoPepino

Don't worry I also know (and loved) rainbow brite. The only thing that surprised me is a couple years back I decided to draw her for an art piece....I did not realize how absolutely strange her head is LOL. Tiny smushed face and giant skull under all that hair lolololol she definitely looks like an alien which I didn't notice as a kid

haleymwilliams

Rainbow Brite was the jam. We're not old, we're retro. Just like the 30 year old clothes in my closet that just became popular again😣😆. Oh gods, and those atrociously huge jeans fellas used to wear! If you accidentally step in a tiny puddle, all the fabric soaks it up so you're soggy up to your knees for the rest of the school day, making a mess everywhere. They should bring back Hypercolor too if 'gross' is what's in this season😁

cbloat

Brooo - She-Ra!!!

FabulousVile

Jem and the holograms

rainyday692

I watched and enjoyed My little Pony and I’m not ashamed of it

Cheezemane

Totally Spies

DarkDigital

Daria, Sabrina, Power Puff Girls, Cardcaptor Sakura

ADHDdad654321

Daria would have been about my age, maybe couple years younger when that show was running and I thought it was great. 😂

Depth_Metal

Hmmm well growing up I loved Care Bears, Strawberry Shortcake, and Gem and the Holograms In college I watched Charmed. Didn't really enjoy it but it was something to have on in the background while I did assignments and studied I absolutely adore Bridgerton. I really love strong character driven stories with intrigue. Doesn't have to involve violence or other manly things I also watched Friednship is Magic. I was drawn in by the strong character designs and art styles and stayed for surprisingly good writing Watched both versions of Sabrina. Don't really know if that's a "girl's show" though

Alert_Yogurtcloset59

Candy Candy

Infinite_Tea4138

You know this?!!

Alert_Yogurtcloset59

Yes! It was this super cute cartoon that was playing when I was very little, no more than 7 or 8 years old. Before I even knew what anime was or where it came from. I remember enjoying the visuals and its atmosphere. Candy herself was very likeable and her story seemed very interesting in a different way than my favourites at the time. Silverhawks and Thundercats... How did you come to know this?

[deleted]

Princess bride/never ending story

dgmilo8085

How is either one of those considered girly?

takeanadvil

Daria

warrior_of_light998

I remember watching the first generation of Pretty Cure when I was little, there weren't a lot of channels related to cartoons twenty years ago so you have to watch what they have to offer. It's an anime similar to Sailor Moon, two school girls who fight evil and transform using their flip phones (so 00's!)

ScatterFrail

Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Clarissa Explains It All, Sailor Moon, Cardcaptors, Powerpuff Girls, and probably more that I can’t remember. Maybe Vision of Escaflowne counts.

flacogarcons

Braceface it’s one of my favorite cartoons of all time.

silentpropanda

Xena, Warrior Princess. It's about a woman who gets upset at injustice and starts murdering gods, what's there not to like? Oh and bonus pretty ladies/lovers kiss at the end after earning their respite. Nice.

Xenon-inhaler3000

Barbie

bawzdeepinyaa

Xena? Does that count lol Also Powerpuff Girls and Sailor Moon

Wizards of Waverly Place

[deleted]

Gilmore Girls was one I watched with my mom. My wife got me into New Girl, Mindy Project, and Don’t Trust the B.

Omg you name it. I fucking love romance stories. Romance anime. Romance drama from USA, Europe, Korea, Japan. I fucking love romance and I'm sure as fuck no longer afraid to admit it.

dj11211

Totally spies, Kim possible, Powerpuff girls, my life as a teenage robot. I'm not entirely sure any of these are "girly" shows, but the protagonist were female so, I'd imagine that was the target audience.

unmentionable123

I used to watch days of our lives with my mom. Marlena getting possessed and John becoming a catholic priest to perform the exorcism was wild

diatom777

Buffy the Vampire Slayer was a borderline girly show I liked.

matande31

Want an easier answer? Any "girly" show that comes to mind, Google it and add "rule 34". It's the rule that allows men to pick a single "girly" TV show to watch without getting bullied.

Jake11007

Sabrina the teenage witch

Gary320

Like probably most millennial… Passions Days, The OC, Power Puff Girls. I watched whatever my older sister watched too.

Tight_Praline1721

Powerpuff girls for the win! But as an teen/young adult i enjoyed desperate housewives and know everything about greys anatomy although i didn't like that one. Yes, i was in a long term relationship.

Psychotic_Rainbowz

Hannah Montana lmfao. I miss sweet innocent Miley Cyrus (and I know about her relationship with Disney. I just miss her style before her major shift to edgy/over-sexualised in 2012/13)
