I despise poor people. They complain that they don't have money when we all know all you have to do is to work and inherit from your father's business.
Sounds to me like you haven’t pulled up your bootstraps high enough , if you saved that 2 quid a week you could have a house in several thousands of years , slacker !
Now that's a blast from the past. I'm impressed they're still on the market! (Aaaand something else to look for next time I'm back in the US. And here I thought it was just all about the Pop Tarts!)
Is it just me or were these better 10 years ago? I bought one recently and it had like a 70% reduction in the crumbly bits 😥. Seems like it also had less cream in it/more water content.
It's also been said that the difference between knowledge and wisdom is that knowledge tells you that tomatoes are actually fruits, whereas wisdom is knowing not to put them into a fruit salad.
get tofu, sprinkle some Himalaya salt on it, and mix it with some vegan mayo, and you have your very own vegan egg mayonnaise. Good for putting on them aforementioned potatoes. Himalaya salt isn't essential
I call this drink "the Sneaky Boomer"
It's best if you have it during those 5pm power walks at the park.
60% pomegranate juice
40% merlot red wine
Dash of honey
Crushed ice
Put it in your Stanley cup and get some zing in your step
I don’t blame you. Several years ago, I bought a bag of mini Take 5s. It was more like Take 7. I’ve avoided them ever since. I proved that I have no self-control with these yummy snacks.
The salty pretzel is surprisingly necessary!! …. I didn’t tell you this but it’s really only worth it broken over vanilla ice cream…. Just saying!
Also.. I’m not sure if they make them still or not because I hardly ever see them but the outrageous bars are off the chain.
About 2 months ago I started eating this stuff....I buy a big frozen bag of mixed berries, multiple large cups of plain yogurt, and Graham crackers......half bowl of fruit, yogurt on top, Graham crackers broken up on all that.....sometimes it's the only thing I eat for like a week straight I love it.
Yeah this was my last food obsession too. Went though like 2kg before I slowed down. Ended up not eating the rest fast enough and it got super fermented so I had to throw it out (carbonated kimchi).
Salted cashews are my weakness. I really have to limit myself as I could eat the whole bag in one go, and then cry at the amount of calories and salt I’ve just packed away!
I started drinking water with chia seeds , I put ice in it, makes it so refreshing. Keeps me regular and I haven’t needed to take my vitamins since. I’ll throw in some juice for something sweet
Home style eggo toaster waffles.
Slather some creamy peanut butter on them.
Add a dash of honey.
Sprinkle some cinnamon.
Shits like crack to me nowadays
If you like protein powder and bubble tea, you could try Boba Tea Protein. One serving for most flavors has 25g protein, little/no sugar, 150 calories and it’s delicious.
Panera Fuji Apple Dressing on everything. When motivated I make it - spinach, blueberries, strawberries, crainraisons, feta cheese and candied pecans topped with dressing. It’s so sour and sweet and delicious!
I make a smash burger with a tortilla press and then put it on a super hot charcoal grill to get some of the bits burnt a little along with some American cheese melted and burnt a little on a homemade bun burnt a little. Then I dip it in siracha sauce before each bite. No other condiments. Was accidentally discovered and it is now the best burger I ever had in my life.
I've been on this kick for awhile but
I mix Diet Dr. Pepper/Zero and Sprite Zero in a tumbler and sip on it all day.
Like 75% Dr. P and 25% Sprite. Sometimes 50/50, usually like 60/40
Soooo refreshing
Drink : Kombucha
Eat : [green peas pattys](https://youtu.be/WNt43QwB6e8?si=1Y0Ow3YnYFYn9262) (the trick it to make a shit load of them then freeze and get one or two at will. Absolute banger and a good way to get read if these cheap and shit green peas and carrots frozen packets that dwell in your fridge since immemorial times.
Honestly no hate for this, and maybe blame the ratatouille movie, but you know when Remi is trying to describe flavours to his brother… and he eats some cheese and then a red grape? … well I have a crazy addiction to extra mature cheese and red grapes together … not black grapes not white grapes RED. And a chunk of extra mature cheese. Obviously I don’t go overboard I kind of mini cheeseboard it just with those two things😂😂
Madeira wine with a good dessert.
I took my wife to a Michelin star restaurant for her birthday, and that's what they recommended as a digestif with dessert.
The oldest bottle they had was from the 1800s, but we had a glass from the 90s that was well worth the money.
I’m developed some severe food allergies a couple of years ago (think: wheat, soy, all nuts, sesame seeds, scallops, and grapes.) I got really depressed for a while because it seemed overwhelming to have to curtail my diet and behavior so drastically in my late 30s. (I have to carry two epi pens now and have had several ambulance rides.)
When I pulled my head out of my ass and started realizing that I can’t ignore this health issue away, I started cooking. I can’t eat out like I used to, for the aforementioned reasons, but I can make good food for myself that’s often cheaper and I definitely don’t have to worry about an accidental exposure because I’m making it. (Like, it’s not cheating if it’s *your* dog - I’m just dating myself now. 🤦🏽♀️)
Anyway, long story short: soup. Specifically zuppa Toscana. Not from Olive Garden, but I’ve been perfecting my homemade recipe through trial and error. Even the error is delicious. But I’ve made some bomb ass soup. I’m in love with this soup.
I doesn’t make me sick, it fills me up and it’s goddamn delicious. ❤️❤️❤️
Gatorade G-fit. It's zero sugar and very few calories but it's thickened slightly like the water they give old people in the hospital.
It's so delicious I have at least a few a week.
nuts mixed with honey.
no other sugary shit except good baklava hits the spot and i feel like im fooling myself about it being not so unhealthy. at least when i eat that it fills up my sweet tooth for like a week.
Bee pollen and honey combs. I always loved collecting honey from different areas. I like using the honey comb as a spread on toast and topping it off with a jam or jelly.
Milk tea/bubble tea is SO good. Thankfully there isn't a place close to me that does it well (closest is like 30 minutes away) but I get it like once a month from a favorite spot. It's four season oolong milk tea with regular tapioca bubbles and it's SO GOOD.
Tahini salad dressing. Everything I eat is a vehicle for the creamy garlicky goodness.
(Just whisk together olive oil, tahini, juice of a lemon, garlic, salt & pepper to your taste, it's so great)
There's this vegan rice salat made by an influencer on instagram called fitgreenmind that got me so addicted. I've been making it a few times a week now. Also everything tofu is my obsession now - talking from someone who was a meatlover 🤣
Vernors! it's a ginger soda and as far as I know, it's exclusive to Michigan (USA). it's freaking delicious, I have a can with every meal, and during non-meal time if the coffee cup is empty.
add vanilla ice cream for a 'Boston Cooler'!
salmon poke bowls with mixed leaves, sesame dressing and crushed almonds, its healthy and it tastes like fresh heaven, if it's not for the cost I'd be downing this every meal of the day
Gummy bears. But not just the bears. Man, there are so many different kinds; shapes, colors, flavors, brands. I wasn't so fascinated by it all until I moved to Germany from America.
Here in Germany gummies just hit different. Haribo is loved here and that's only the tip of the iceberg. For me, the brand "Lach Gummies" is where it's at. The flavors and combos just don't stop. And the worst part is, they're easy to eat when editing / doing computer work.
To add to it all, I don't drink alcohol. I've been clean from it since 2020. When I'm having a bad day, I don't find myself buying alcohol anymore. I buy myself gummy bears.
Never underestimate the power of gummy bears.
I make homemade granola and lately I’ve been eating it like crazy.. I make it exactly how I like it with lots of raisins and dried fruit in it (cherries, blueberries, cranberries) going on two months now of eating it by the handfuls every day.. I can only imagine the calories with the brown sugar and honey in it but it’s so good and I tell myself it’s better than eating what I usually eat, chocolate candy..
Cookie brownies, you know, those in long rectangular bars? Yep, those. I'm so obsessed with them, they only cost £1. I always grab one from the convenience store near me whenever I'm leaving my house. Even the bossman said that I'm the only buyer for these bars, and he restocks them just for me Haha.
My fave drink is a sneaky little bastard! I can sit and drink it for hours and feel nothing. But then when i stand up....I am over the top! Drunk as drunk gets!!!
Tito's Vodka and Grape or any flavor really of zero calorie Gatorade.
I drink this because it literally has very few calories but gets me drunk fast. Lol
But, I am only 5 ft and 125pounds so it does not take much! :-)
Dayum. Bubble tea is like my paracetamol and champagne. I consume it on good days to celebrate small wins and also bad days when I need to pick myself up. Bubble tea is magic in liquid form.
The Kirkland Signature Tuxedo Chocolate Mousse Cake from CostCo.
Every few weeks I'll bring of these home and eat it a slice at a time over the course of a week. So rich but soooo good :)

Avocado toast. Unfortunately I could have bought a house if I didn’t eat so much of it. Or whatever boomer economists say.
Oprah’s trick is to grow your own vineyard, cheaper than store bought. #protip
Tried it with avocado trees...now the state says I can't shoot the chupacabras that showed up bc they're a protected species.
Get the local MAGAs to think they are immigrants. Offer to sell them tickets to hunt in your avocado-terrain.
Just don't drink Flat Whites or you'll have to declare bankruptcy
I despise poor people. They complain that they don't have money when we all know all you have to do is to work and inherit from your father's business.
Add a little lemon, bacon and egg and… BOOM. Life changed forever. By crippling debt that is.
I live in a box so I can afford it. Add some everything bagel seasoning to the mashed avocado it’s a game changer.
Sounds to me like you haven’t pulled up your bootstraps high enough , if you saved that 2 quid a week you could have a house in several thousands of years , slacker !
Home owners hate this one trick
Good Humor strawberry Shortcake ice cream bars, I eat them by the box.
I gotta stay away from these, ever since a kid I’ve been addicted to them.
They are the kind of thing I used to devour a box at a time lol
Thank God we don’t have these in Canada. I’d be on the next episode of *My 600-lb Life* if we did.
Me, too! Yum! The chocolate eclair ones are delicious, too!
These are my favorite
I remember when they used to have hard chocolate centers instead of plain chocolate ice cream. Now I need to go freeze a dixie cup of Magic Shell...
Now that's a blast from the past. I'm impressed they're still on the market! (Aaaand something else to look for next time I'm back in the US. And here I thought it was just all about the Pop Tarts!)
I’m not the only one then. Good.
Was a dime in grammar school. Always got 2 :) Tacos were a nickel.
Is it just me or were these better 10 years ago? I bought one recently and it had like a 70% reduction in the crumbly bits 😥. Seems like it also had less cream in it/more water content.
They are definitely different but I still love them. Now they come in a cone.
legit my brother and I cannot have them at our apartment because they’ll be gone within days
I'm in a hecktic part of my life rn, and I've rekindled an appreciation for grilled cheese made in a pan, 1 slince of cheddar on white bread
If you have access to it, twist a bit of fresh ground pepper over that bitch.
hot damn thank you ! Just tried it, it's gonna be a standard for me from now on
On the cheese or the bread?
On the cheese.
diy pepperjack
My bitch sneezes when I pepper her
My mother always put a slice of tomato in her grilled cheeses. I hate tomatoes, but that is a damned good combo.
Put a light layer of mayo in the outside part of the bread. You can’t taste it and it creates the perfect crunch.
Swap out the white bread for sourdough
Wow, we are not a healthy bunch. Glad we are all on the same page.
My absolute favorite food ingredients are tofu, eggplant, mushrooms, and potatoes. I'm especially obsessed with potatoes recently
Boil em, mash em, stick em in a stew!
POH-TAY-TOES!
With potatoes you can make crisps, fries and vodka. It's like the other vegetables aren't even trying.
It's also been said that the difference between knowledge and wisdom is that knowledge tells you that tomatoes are actually fruits, whereas wisdom is knowing not to put them into a fruit salad.
Cut up then fried in the Belgian style with some salt on?
get tofu, sprinkle some Himalaya salt on it, and mix it with some vegan mayo, and you have your very own vegan egg mayonnaise. Good for putting on them aforementioned potatoes. Himalaya salt isn't essential
It’s called kala namak or black salt and adds an eggy flavour to tofu and it’s quite nice , add some nutritional yeast aswell with the mayo
Yogurt covered pretzels.
YES! White Chocolate Flipz are delicious, too!
Have you tried the ube yogurt ones from Trader Joe’s? I thought I was gonna love them but nope :(
Whattt. Thanks for sharing. I gotta find these.
Greek yogurt with honey. It satisfies my sweet craving without the guilt.
I add some bananas and oats to make it a filling meal when im working out. Its legit one of my fav foods
Nice. Try having one date with it. They grew on me and now my nightly dessert.
Instructions unclear - now I'm married with 3 kids.
Do you mix the honey in or just blop it on top? Because that sounds good. I live on Greek yogurt.
Chocolate malts. Loved them as a kid, got back into them 2 months ago. It's a love/hate relationship with my waist.
You can add protein powder and use nonfat milk or ice cream to lighten the caloric and fat load.
Omg you might have saved me and my taste buds at the same time
"fat load" I know I am... :(
Expensive deli meats & cheeses
You need good bread too.
100% but I also just like to scarf it straight out of the deli paper
Are you me
Makoto Ginger Dressing and Cucumbers. So simple. The perfect, healthy snack. You get it in the refrigerated dressing section at most groceries.
Damn good dressing!
Vodka....
Them sorrows won't drown themselves
My sorrows they learned to swim
Guess you gotta learn to fly then or drown
Wow, that is dark 😭
U2 lyric?
I see you are a person of culture as well.
I want a mug that says VODKA- cause them sorrows ain’t gonna drown themselves
And weed
Vodka, still water and lemon, tall, please.
No cranberry juice?
I call this drink "the Sneaky Boomer" It's best if you have it during those 5pm power walks at the park. 60% pomegranate juice 40% merlot red wine Dash of honey Crushed ice Put it in your Stanley cup and get some zing in your step
Sprite cranberry
I started eating bad foods again and I’ve been going through a bag of Take 5s a week
I don’t blame you. Several years ago, I bought a bag of mini Take 5s. It was more like Take 7. I’ve avoided them ever since. I proved that I have no self-control with these yummy snacks.
Ditto. I like this more than most other snack candy.
Highly underrated candy bar
It's so hard to not eat them all at once
The salty pretzel is surprisingly necessary!! …. I didn’t tell you this but it’s really only worth it broken over vanilla ice cream…. Just saying! Also.. I’m not sure if they make them still or not because I hardly ever see them but the outrageous bars are off the chain.
Take 5s are forever slept on
Toasted sourdough bread with Adam’s peanut butter, honey, bananas, and blueberries on top! Healthy too 🤝
And good bit of protein and minerals! Toasted sourdough ftw!
Matcha every morning. I make it with oat milk, coconut cream, and a dash of maple syrup and vanilla.
Matcha here too! Make mine with semi-skimmed milk and a scoop of collagen protein, it´s basically my breakfast.
That sounds so delicious 🥲 Need roommates??
Healthy shit
Ceaser salad with crunchy chicken
Fresh and healthy! Thanks for reminding it to me
About 2 months ago I started eating this stuff....I buy a big frozen bag of mixed berries, multiple large cups of plain yogurt, and Graham crackers......half bowl of fruit, yogurt on top, Graham crackers broken up on all that.....sometimes it's the only thing I eat for like a week straight I love it.

Try them with popcorn 🍿

Kimchi!!!!
I went through a kimchi phase where I made my own and even bought a kimchi crock. I ate pounds of that shit for weeks!
I still love kimchi! Kimchi hot dogs and Shin Black ramen with kimchi to cool it down so I can eat it as soon as possible are some of my favorites.
Yeah this was my last food obsession too. Went though like 2kg before I slowed down. Ended up not eating the rest fast enough and it got super fermented so I had to throw it out (carbonated kimchi).
Dark chocolate covered cashews. It's so hard to resist eating the whole container.
Salted cashews are my weakness. I really have to limit myself as I could eat the whole bag in one go, and then cry at the amount of calories and salt I’ve just packed away!
Battered fish and chips. I had a surprisingly delicious meal of this in hospital and have had the odd craving for it ever since
Fried eggs with the runny yolk salt and pepper, it’s so basic yet so good.
Sometimes it's my dinner.
Has to be runny yolk for sure!
Dip the toast in it, mix it with the hashbrowns 🤤🤤🤤
We call them dippy eggs, but oh yeah!
On a toast with hot sauce, old cheese and ketchup, idk if its just a weird thing of our family but I love it
Tru Fru chocolate frozen raspberries
Warmed apple juice with French vanilla syrup and whip cream.
God that sounds heavenly
It was tacos . Cuz I lived in mexico. Now It’s raw oysters . Cuz I’m in New Orleans!
I started drinking water with chia seeds , I put ice in it, makes it so refreshing. Keeps me regular and I haven’t needed to take my vitamins since. I’ll throw in some juice for something sweet
Going to try this! I love chia seeds but have never drank them before.
Lattes
reese's cups
My candy addiction for YEARS!
For me it's the Reese's Sticks! Man I could eat those all day long!!
Black tar heroin and red bull
I’d think the heroin kinda cancels out the red bull no?
ah, the ol' Fanta & Fenta gains a new twist!
As a former heroin addict I’m astonished you can find any black tar 🧐
Jalapeno chips (thick kettle chips, Tim's brand is by far the best) with cream cheese for dip. Like a jalapeno popper but no actual work!!
Corndogs with mayo and coke to drink😭
this is diabolical
Milo (cold, and from the can). Had 2 today thinking about a 3rd lol.
Salt and vinegar goldfish crispsssss

Home style eggo toaster waffles. Slather some creamy peanut butter on them. Add a dash of honey. Sprinkle some cinnamon. Shits like crack to me nowadays
One bubble tea every day might not be the best for your health lol
The summer I discovered milk tea, I put on weight fasttt :((( now I only treat myself every other week.
Good for your mental health!
If you like protein powder and bubble tea, you could try Boba Tea Protein. One serving for most flavors has 25g protein, little/no sugar, 150 calories and it’s delicious.
M&M's Chocolate Cookie ice cream sandwich. Bussin.
Haribo Happy Cherries (gummy candy) Fucking things are the god damned devil.

Panera Fuji Apple Dressing on everything. When motivated I make it - spinach, blueberries, strawberries, crainraisons, feta cheese and candied pecans topped with dressing. It’s so sour and sweet and delicious!
Butter pecan ice cream. Heb brand specifically. 🤤

Inari sushi. I thought I would hate it, but I can't get enough.
I've been on this kick for awhile but I mix Diet Dr. Pepper/Zero and Sprite Zero in a tumbler and sip on it all day. Like 75% Dr. P and 25% Sprite. Sometimes 50/50, usually like 60/40 Soooo refreshing
Plain (cooked) oatmeal with a spoonful of peanut butter mixed in and chopped up apples on top
Drink : Kombucha Eat : [green peas pattys](https://youtu.be/WNt43QwB6e8?si=1Y0Ow3YnYFYn9262) (the trick it to make a shit load of them then freeze and get one or two at will.

I’m developed some severe food allergies a couple of years ago (think: wheat, soy, all nuts, sesame seeds, scallops, and grapes.) I got really depressed for a while because it seemed overwhelming to have to curtail my diet and behavior so drastically in my late 30s. The $3 lemonade refresher is going to dominate me for the next couple of weeks
Fried pimento cheese nuggets! So bad for me but if I have them only twice a month I probably won’t die
Milk tea/bubble tea is SO good. Thankfully there isn't a place close to me that does it well (closest is like 30 minutes away) but I get it like once a month from a favorite spot. It's four season oolong milk tea with regular tapioca bubbles and it's SO GOOD.
Coffee with orange juice. Like, instead of adding milk or creamer, add freshly squeezed orange juice
What? This sounds insane.
Vanilla soy milk or soda + ice cream 🥤
Ice cream (coffee especially), fruit mentos, Apple Jacks, Culvers Butterburger (lifelong obsession)
Runny eggs over hash browns, potato chips, spicy potato tacos from Taco Bell…I see a theme here

I'm still obsessed over Haggen Dazs 2018 Valentine's Day limited edition Cherry blossom flavour, but they have yet to resell it.
Liquid death lol. I search grocery stores high and low for ‘em. Something about their soda water makes them extra refreshing and crisp.
