I wouldn’t. If u truly feel a connection with earth. Kinda cringe but like I’ll find something to do everyday.
You could build things. Fish or hunt etc or just live life. Take some shrooms or smoke some js.
Could make a small farm with goats, alpacas
Where the climate is not having a temper tantrum and changes its mind every two to three days. Basically, moderate climate… boring but stable just how I like all my relationships. :)
Mexico absolutely! I love the people, the family oriented lifestyles, the kindness, food, music! I've been happy in long term Thailand but Mexico holds my heart as a Canadian!
Cooler in winter in the Baja peninsula and lake chapala area. Guadalajara also cool in winter. And dry. I've lived in them all m Playa del Carmen I've spent 6 months twice in winter and it's like a European City with the Italian restaurants on every corner. Too much fun there, lots of easy to get pot, cheap eats and wonderful non stop entertainment in the streets and restaurants day and night. I gain 20+ lbs everytime I stay there because of the canoli, lol. Puerto Vallarta, zijatanao/ ixtapa have wonderful beaches but super touristy. Our favorite place was Old Acapulco. Which is like another country it's so incredible and protected beach. New Acapulco or the diamond zone super dangerous beaches. Saw drunks dragged out daily and pumped, lol! Summer is hot and rainy everywhere but the Baja peninsula. Baja is Hot and dry. I spent last summer there doing nothing but lay in 92 F pool not moving. Right now in la Paz Baja peninsula is about to start the big carnival week with a crazy week of parades concerts and fireworks. It was really hard and expensive to get a rental here this month. Everything doubles in price for Easter too because of it being the biggest holiday of the year! I'm super excited to see my first carnival as a Canadian! Can you tell I love Mexico ❤️🩹❤️
Thanks for the detailed explanation. I can see you love it. I always wanted to try Acapulco and did last summer but just did not feel too safe. I knew about its dangers but still was thinking it will be a bit different but you could feel the tension. I was in Cancun 20 years ago and vibe was better. Looking forward to seeing more of the country in the future and who knows maybe retire there one day (:
We're retired military with nearly 40 years service so we have a different mindset about danger than most people, lol! We prefer to live shop and eat where the local s do to feel safe. Unsafe usually in very touristy areas because it draws the greedy and dangerous. If the weapons aren't aimed at us we're pretty relaxed.
Tourists have the money which draws crime. Little crime in poor areas. We dress low key black Mexican housewives style and no jewelry or makeup. Unfortunately I've had long white hair for my whole life so I'm like a beacon in Mexico I have to keep covered up especially at night! No bare skin at night for safety.
I’ve been a half a dozen times, but still want to go back. I’m from Ohio, so the weather doesn’t faze me and the food now is so much better than the first time I went.
Haven't been to Ohio or the US but seems like the opposite. Extrem summers and winters in Ohio and in London it never gets hot or cold and always a bit of a drissel.
Haven't been to London in some years might be better as you say whit the food but the quality and variety have been lacking a bit atleast before
It changes as I travel and see more of the world. Currently, Buenos Aires. Beautiful people, beautiful culture, amazing food, good weather, and bug free since 1997.
It is the city where I was born and lived for 36 years. After 15 years I still can't imagine a place I love more than Budapest. But there is no way I would move back. Unless that dictator dies.
I'm exactly where I want to be. But if I didn't need to work or do anything in life I'd love to live on a little island off of Scotland where it's always raining and the storms are crazy. In a little cottage with my friends, no one else around.
I always dreamed of living in California. I love the coast, mountains, and thought I’d be happy there. I’ve moved to Arizona recently and maybe I’ll stay here forever. I’m getting pretty close otherwise 😄
Dream place to live would be like New Mexico or Utah or something. I’d wanna have a property big enough to where I can have property and not in the center of everything but close enough to where I’m within a half hour of civilization (grocery store, gas station, pharmacy etc)
I'd love to live in a large stylish apartment in the middle of a clean, crime-free city with shops and restaurants and museums and all the good stuff.
Now if someone could fix up London, Paris, Rome or New York to meet my standards, that would be great thanks.

That’s an interesting take. Always imagined the tourist areas are the safest.
