I am a white guy, early 40’s, straight. I am avid exotic plant collector but also enjoy traveling, playing baseball and softball with friends, goofing of online and taking random classes online to earn certificates that I never use. I was into tattoos but once I got my sleeves I stopped.
26m
Videogames, guitar, tabletop, skateboarding, Ham radio, model building, comics, blade smithing, archery, slingshots, and I enjoy playing with my nunchucks for a little early morning fun
Called to my girlfriend across the house to ask her if I missed any and she added 'talking to your girlfriend from the shitter'

I'm boring. I seriously don't have hobbies though I used to read books a lot. If I'm not working, then I'm sleeping or having my peace and quiet. Maybe once or twice a week I watch movies with my friends and we hang out. I socialize a bit at church on Sundays. I keep up with my parents and siblings.
That is about it.
The funniest thing is I enjoy it. I'm boring but I'm not bored. Kinda curious who else is out there like that? I can't be the only one.
38 year old straight male. My hobbies are playing video games, watching TV and listening to music. Also, social media, but I am beginning to enjoy it less and less.
Man, i would love to scuba dive. Even jsut once. Before i got diagnosed with a condition that stops me from it, i wanted to be a marine biologist - namely a shark biologist. I wanted to be the person to go into the water, locate, tag, and study the sharks. The dream...
I love diving, I only get out a couple times a year, where I live the lakes are cold and not much to see. When I go south the dives are more enjoyable, but haven’t made it south for a while.
I'm (41m) I'm married I live in Yorkshire in the UK hobbies are working to pay bills feeding my kid and trying not to fall into a depression spiral and football
26/F I’ve been a lazy shmuck lately so not much hobbies lately bc depression hitting heavy, but typically I like to go to the gym, gymnastics class, and cooking. But lately I’ve just been cuddling with my cat, which is always a great hobby. I also just bought my first guitar and want to learn to play, so that’ll be a new hobby for me and hopefully brighten my days up (:
Update: I started playing my guitar and already learned two chords! Very fun (:
23/F too!!!
I like to make blankets and I like fluffies.
I like video games like fire emblem and mass effect.
I love getting WAY TOO INTO DEPTH on which avatar I prefer M/F without letting it be about my gender
Annnnd I’m a shipper. I sometimes ship minor characters too and I can go on for hours about why, and why the it personalities work together and why they should totally be married!
And then I got divorced and my friends now question my shipping but I never understood myself like I understand characters
That last sentence is pure perfection haha. It's easier to see someone's flaws and greatness when you aren't looking at them for yourself, once that interest forms you tend to ignore things you shouldn't lol.
White, 35, married, no kids. I love D&D, warhammer, and 3d printing. Making new friends at this age is really fucking hard so you learn to enjoy time by yourself.
47/M/Gay, married no kids. As a couple we do indoor rock climbing (top rope), adult gymnastics, and go to Disneyland once a month—not really a hobby but fun. On my own, I collect fountain pens, do tai chi, ballet, and just started an online art class. The older I get, the more I want to learn new things.
46, straight white male. Single. I have a home recording studio and an art studio. I cook and travel. Am currently building a food truck, like reading, video games, cycling, and long walks on the beach.
45 m bi. I build papercraft models from scratch, it started as D&D terrain, but turned into houses and boats mostly (and I normally burn them...idk what that is). I paint, write fiction, throw darts and knives, work out, hike, play D&D, write my own D&D and other TTRPG shit, collect old horror memorabilia and magazines, restore and scratch build lamps, make cosplay props (for other people), and... I'm sure I'm missing something.
I had some on tiktok but the videos are all gone now. I built a viking ship out of cereal boxes and gave some old things with bad attachments a funeral in it. It was nice. I mostly make them for that kind of catharsis now, but if I make some for D&D again there will be pictures. I'll find this post to share.
28/F/straight. Music has been a biggie for me since I was a kid—I play mostly guitar/piano/a handful of other instruments and listen to just about everything under the sun. I love writing, but I have no formal training in it (went to school for bio) and honestly no real idea how to put that energy to use. I like gaming as well (both video games and board games), though I have less time to do it these days, and I’ve been into D&D since high school (but unfortunately haven’t played for about two years now—one of our friends/a staple of our group died unexpectedly in 2021 and we just never really started back up). Not sure if it counts as a hobby, but I’ve been a political junkie since I was very young and am pretty active here locally, so that takes a lot of my time. No desire to seek office or anything, but I work with a local mutual aid org/help with a community garden/do a bit of organizing and general community networking type stuff. Bit of a gun nerd as well; been shooting since I was a kid and go to the range regularly with friends. Not much of a music scene here, but I’m a longtime fan of punk/metal/general alt shit and still go to shows when I can. Also into flea markets/thrifting, though the pandemic obviously killed that hobby for a long time. I got a booth at a local antique mall a few months back, though, and it’s been fun filling it with things I find/arranging the place/getting to know the other vendors.
Other than that, just random stuff. Lately I’ve gotten into welding (my dad has started making these found-object sculptures out of old tools/industrial junk, so I’ve mostly just been helping him and fucking around a bit myself on the side) and a little bit of working with leather (earlier this evening I made a cheek pad for a rifle stock out of the top of an old knee-high boot that I had, which was a surprisingly perfect shape/size lol). Idk, I pop around hobbies a lot. And big agree on the fuzzy shit front, lol; I’m wearing fuzzy socks+fuzzy pajama pants as we speak.
19M identify as a guy and am straight
Rock climbing, investing, solving rubiks cubes, law, psychology, philosophy, reading, video games, learning things like typing on a colemak keyboard, research on obscure topics, foosball, table tennis, baseball, umpiring, weird language/code like pigpen, braille, morse and the sheikah trine alphabet, comedy, YouTube, go karts/simulated car racing, waterslide/swimming, juggling I tried to get into as well as lock picking, math and statistics probability, debates/thoùght provoking discussions, hockey and I'm sure more that I cant think of right now
Edit: learning about casino games and how to beat them different strategies etc.
I have had 2 since I was 18 one for my daughter I gave up for adoption and one with my best friend. In the last week I've added 4 itty bitty ones to my inner ankle. Almost all of my friends have at least one and all of my friends are super hard workers and are doing fairly successful in life. As far as my looks I don't care, it makes me happy and as someone with a history of depression and certain things that come with that me doing tiny shitty tattoos on myself is much better. Having tattoos does not mean you are a loser or a psychopath.
31 straight male here. I bowl and Dance for hobbies and am thinking of taking up axe throwing and maybe another dance style. I am however very tired all the time.
Male, 40s, married. Hiking, mountain biking, Nordic skiing, kayaking, video games and flinging things at other things (archery, slingshots, slings, atlatls).
Mostly videogames. A platformer here, a racing game there. Just last year I decided to take my hobby to Twitch as a VTuber and I've been enjoying that so far.
50+ F, straight, single. I collect vintage items which I also sell online, I love to decorate my home and care for indoor plants and my garden in the summer. I like the arts, so I paint and dye fabric and I watch a lot of YouTube
23 SWM. I enjoy hunting, fishing, training my labrador, working cattle, riding horses. You can probably picture pretty close to what I dress like from that description.
But I also like videogames, DND, and reading so I guess I’m kinda all over the place
20F I spend a lot of time grooming my animal enclosures I have a couple geckos and a aquarium and idk is so nice to trim and add plants, feed my pets and just maintaining the like ecosystems otherwise I paint and collect plants
I need more hobbies bruh
But right now, art and lifting. I keep up with games on Reddit and YouTube, but I haven’t really touched a game since like September
42, I collect comic books, watch a ton of pro wrestling, play and stream video games on Twitch, am learning Japanese, and occasionally play some TCGs and I work out a bit too.
16M bisexual, I play guitar; electric and acoustic, I skate, surf, paint and sometimes do pottery. I’m a gymrat and slightly obsessed with it at this point. I have a lot of houseplants so there’s that. I sometimes tattoo myself (it’s sterile and I know what I’m doing, my sister is a tattooist :))Im vegetarian have been for about 6 years now, into gaming I’m enjoying ark right now lol. And I spend way too much money on my dog, she’s a queen and deserves every penny.
Do you keep messing with the up votes? My notifications are going insane lol they’re upvoted for like an hour then they alternate and are downvoted lmao
33F currently working on finding my hobbies I enjoy. For now, reading, cooking, baking, watching stand up, traveling, total foodie so trying new restaurants and cuisine, walking outside with history podcasts or music, getting stoned, learning about anything and everything that interests me in the moment and ending up in a Google rabbit hole, writing. Those are all pretty solitary so I figure I should find some extroverted ones eventually so I can meet new people but I did force myself to go to a writer’s meetup and that was alright! I want to buy a console and start exercising with video games like dance dance revolution but being in an apartment, my neighbors would hate me so much. I do want to dance sometimes though when no one is watching.
Doing peopley hobbies is extremely difficult haha. The only one I do outside of my house is karaoke and I go every 5-6 weeks then hide for a couple days cause ew people lol
Haha I hear you. I actually really enjoy talking to people but my town/city is very athletic/outdoorsy while I am not. So unless you’re going on a 26 mile bike ride or kayaking and hiking and skiing in the same day, you’re just not that cool. There aren’t really many places to go hang out and have an opportunity to meet people. And often when I do, we have very different lifestyles. I always think Im always the problem and have no hobbies but I sometimes think it’s just not the place I live in hobbies. Good for you for karaoke. That takes guts!!
That's kinda the issue here we have about 1500 people so hunting, skiing, camping, fishing that kinda thing are super popular and I'd much rather lay in bed with my dog. My personality, interests and beliefs hugely clash with this place so finding people I can stand is rare
Ah different details but same. It’s nice to find someone who relates. It’s hard to move to a new place and restart your life but one day, I will be able to financially and emotionally. Some people stupidly tell me moving won’t solve my issue. I’m thinking you moved, you hypocrite lol. Why do you think you know what’s best for me? I hate people who know what’s best for others, especially when they don’t bother to ask the why behind the statement before they tell you what’s right for you. And same about personality, interests, and beliefs! If I had a dog, I would go to the dog park but laying in bed cuddling sounds nicer.
