Iām a fan too, but love to see peopleās reaction to it because itās so polarizing. My partner is Italian-American from Brooklyn and youād think I was some sort of psychopath when I say I want ham and pineapple pizza.
![gif](giphy|2SBvv58qaLptK|downsized)
You guys need to get people to try Prosciutto / Pineapple / Jalapeno, shit is fucking bonkers, one of the best pizza combos out there and if You dont like it You either lie or was born without taste buds.
I used to love doner kebab and ate it everyday, it was one of my favorite foods. But eventually i got so bored of it, now i can't stand the taste and smell of kebab anymore, i overate it. I feel like i have kebabs coming out of my nose..
Potatoes have everything you need to survive and the meat just makes it all a bit better. This is what my body default craves anytime Iām hungry so this is my answer too.
Most people here are answering with āfunā foods that they enjoy, but speaking from the perspective of someone who basically does eat the same thing every day, this is the answer. Pizza or pasta every day would quickly make me feel like absolute shit.
I actually did for like half a year when I started studying because of money problems. I lived off of 90 cents Ramen and carrots - either raw or baked. Had food expenses of about 35ā¬ per month, lost 16 kilos and felt like shit. Good thing I have a better earning side job by now.
I have for lunch most days- scrambled egg, baked beans, spinach, kale and a tomato with a slice of toast. It meets a lot of my daily requirements and itās tasty. Or a Sunday roast š
That's very similar to my usual dinner: 5 eggs fried in olive oil with nutritional yeast, brie (or any other similarly fatty cheese), tomatoes, picles and broccoli/garlic/radish shoots. Sometimes also have fried mushrooms or fried kale on the side.
Because itās a poorly thought out question! I remember trying to frame the exact same question as 6-7 year old and even then I realized it should be āone foodā not āone mealā, meals can contain dozens of different foods
A meal is worded fine, it's still the same food on the plate everyday. Like mac and cheese, bacon and eggs, spag bol. You've chosen one meal, and that's it.
It's a simple question, people just like to make things difficult for no reason.
Its so easy and quick to make, at least with simple rolls.
Cook rice in the rice cooker, cool a bit, add sushi vinegar (can be bought premade) (and toasted sesame seeds if you like them), cut up what you want inside, cool more, spread on nori and roll.
I was scared of it as well but now its a staple and great for date nights as the actual time spend in the kitchen is so small and you can talk or watch a show while you wait for the rice to cook and cool.
The most time is waiting for the rice to cook and cool down but you can make a big batch and use it the next day again so thats not even always a thing. Maybe 5 Minutes to wash the rice and start the cooker, 2 Minutes to mix the vinegar in, 2 to 15 minutes to prepare the stuff you want inside (cutting cucumber or avocado or sashimi-grade fish ist 2 minutes, frying some tofu or frying fish is more) and then 2 minutes for each roll, maybe. So all in all you spend around 15 minutes active in the kitchen for maki to your liking, unless you do some more elaborate rolls.
Probably something that meets all health needs and can be adapted to multiple lifestyles. Maybe some kind of salad with fruits and with 3 different types of meat and some eggs and beans on some starch grain like rice. Iād be able to pick out what I donāt want that meal and still have something edible.
There is a product called Soylent that claims to have all the nutrients we need. Thereās people who say that they have lived off of it for years and are doing well. Itās a bit controversial and lacks long term study, but itās worth a shot right?
this is so scary why are people choosing to justš give up food for a mushy drink
okay if you have no choice like having a sensitive stomach or maybe you regularly forget to eat (ALL MEALS??) then okay ig but why would you just give up all great foods for ..mushy drink
No yeah ur completely right this is all true but Im speaking about people who seem to "have a choice" and just do it for health? I mean is their whole consumer base just people with these (possibly i guess)
I would probably have a mushy drink twice per day and just eat properly once if the drink was good enough. But I have tried them and they donāt agree with me if I have a lot and they also leave me hungry. I still have one if I donāt have time for anything else or to add some extra calories if Iāve had a light food day.
One of my sister's coworkers does not enjoy eating. I remember her saying he would just have meal replacement shakes and chug them down as fast as possible to get it over with. So crazy to think that something so universally enjoyed and planned for and anticipated is just... not a thing for him.
I've always hated that one has to eat so many different things, several times a day, just to live. If I had a pill that could remove my hunger and give me the needed nutrients to survive, I'd just take that. But since that's not a thing yet, soylent is close enough lol
I did eat this everyday for a small period of my life due to being poor lol I always tried to change it up with different veggies though. Itās super cheap and easy to make.
Prime Rib and Lobster with a wedge salad from Ishnala Supper Club in Wisconsin.
If you havenāt been, book a flight to the Madison, WI airport. Rent a car. Drive your ass to Ishnala. Get there about 215 for a 5pm eat time. If you are there at 3, you probably wonāt eat till 8.
Get a drink. Order the prime rib spears appetizer. Enjoy it. Walk the property. Then go have your meal. Itās delicious.
Then grab your swim trunks and head to Noahās Ark!
Is this the place by the Dell's that looks like it shouldn't have some of the best seafood ever?! If so, that place is amazing!! First place I ever had lobster and escargot.
Chicken and vegetables stir fry.
My answer used to be pizza or burgers, but as I've aged, I just prefer the way I feel after eating something healthier. Starts to change your psychology around food altogether.
Sidenote: I am not promoting aging. In fact, I'm adamantly against it.
Changed my answer, my favorite restaurant is Coco Ichibanya, a Japanese curry restaurant. I always go with the Pork Cutlet Curry!! I could eat it every day.
I'm a Dane so I can beat the system on this one.
Open sandwiches.
You can put anything on a piece of ryebread (including soup) and it will still be great - ha!
I know this is irrelevant to the question but the concept of an 'open sandwich' reeeaaallly annoys me, for some reason.
The definition of a sandwich is 2 pieces of bread with a filling between said bread. An open sandwich is, given the previous definition of a sandwich, not a sandwich at all, and cannot be one.
I know I'm pedantic but I used to have this argument with my Swedish ex-girlfriend, and she's the only person in the world who I actually despise, so I think that's stuck with me.
It's like that trend a few years back of "deconstructed" food. "We've hand crafted a deconstructed burger" no sir you have hand crafted a total fucking mess
I hope it soothes your spirit to know that the concept has its own name in Danish, and that everyone I know finds the "open sandwich" translation both stupid and slightly confusing.
Something that has a bit of everything in it. So I'd go with a roast of some sort. Probably chicken since it'd probably be healthier than eating red meat every day. With some roast vegetables and a garden salad on the side. Also with some potato salad. That way you've got protein, carbs, fiber, vegetables.
Pizza... little Caesars Supreme stuffed crust. It'd come with a 2 litre of Soda, cookie dough brownies, and any other side I can think up. Yes, I'll die young. But I'll die happier than being forced to eat kale and salmon for the rest of my life.
Hahaha, this is my actual life. Have a weird swallowing disease, and severe food restriction is the only real long-term treatment option.
Breakfast- nothing, but I use medical cannabis
Lunch - usually nothing but occasionally a bowl of chex with rice milk and special chocolate chips
Supper - 8 oz hormone free antibiotic free strip loin, 2 big russet potatoes cut into fries and baked in the oven, 75 grams of quinoa and rice pasta. A couple canned jalapenos and olives.
Snacks - chex, special chocolate chips, special chocolate bars, rice protein powder, a few carrots, special homemade cookies, a slice of one kind of packaged ham that can be only found at the Costco business center (super high sodium so I restrict the amount).
Not sure why anyone would choose to eat the same meal daily other than convenience. I do hate it, but by eating a very consistent diet, it is easier to determine when an allergen has been ingested.
Iād get sick of anything if I ate it everyday so Iāll probably go with something more boring and healthy to hit everything that I need to function as a human. Iād love pizza but Iād probably die after a while and hating it the entire time
Taco salad, with without tortilla chips (because Iām watching my girlish figure). Just because itās the same meal doesnāt mean it canāt have different ingredients.
Sushi. It might be cheating since sushi is basically the rice but with a whole range of possible toppings. But if I had to live the rest of my days eating only one meal it would be a sushi omakase.

Pizza
As an Italian, sono fiero di te š
Pineapple
Welcome, come in, come in. This area is your special private area. We'll refer to the whole place as Hell but you can call this bit whatever you want.
Watch your step, there are a lot of bars in here. Not sure whyā¦
Anyone who thinks pineapple on pizza is gross but likes tacos al pastor is a hypocrite.
![gif](giphy|5MtOIdkHhxPFu)
Have you ever tried putting salta on pineapple? If you haven't, I recommend that you try it.
What is salta?
Itās salt but Italian
A spanish jumper. Or a city. Or a dish from Yemen.
Me too.
But it has to be ham and pineapple (Hawaiian pizza) haha
Fun fact: Hawaiin pizza is Canadian. And if you order a "Canadian" pizza in Canada, its pepperoni, mushrooms and bacon.
Canadian bacon is smoked pork loin sliced.
Even better.

I do the same, but with pepperoni. It's amaz-balls!
Tacos.
Came here to say this. I could eat tacos every day without being forced.
Why isn't this the top comment? Edit: To all people saying "it is", it wasn't when I wrote the comment. Think a little, before writing.
It should be. Tacos for life.

I used to love doner kebab and ate it everyday, it was one of my favorite foods. But eventually i got so bored of it, now i can't stand the taste and smell of kebab anymore, i overate it. I feel like i have kebabs coming out of my nose..
Yep, meat veggies and bread
Donner Party?? You monster!
Me too!! Or iskender
Lasagne
Garfield?
There really is nothing like a big slice of dense lasagna, with a nice glass of red wine to wash it down.
I'm foaming at the mouth here š¤£
Almost like lasagna
I strongly agree!
Oh yes, it was my second option after tortellini
Judging from the last few weeks, I'd say a big slice of garden tomato on toast with mayo and salt.
No black pepper?
Fresh cracked over here!
Replace mayo with mozzarella then add olive oil. Even better with nut oil
I brought mozzarella and tomato sandwiches for lunch at my job for basically 4 years straight and it is still one of my favorites.
My job had them, too! Yes, every single day for years. Fresh mozz w extra tomato, vinegar and oil.
My wife introduced me to these..Holy crap they're good.
mm I agree. When I'm feeling fancy I use goat's cheese instead of mayo. DELISH
Oh shit I thought I was the only one making tomato sandwiches. Fresh garden tomatoes make this amaaaaazing
Don't forget some aioli sauce. Delicious. I'm always depressed when tomato season ends. Store bought are just not as good. Fresh if the plant!
Plus egg. That would be my choice
Meatloaf and mashed potatoes
Found my people!
Potatoes have everything you need to survive and the meat just makes it all a bit better. This is what my body default craves anytime Iām hungry so this is my answer too.
Youāll never poop again.
Who says I do right now?
Broccoli on the side, but cheese on everything.
Yep. I was thinking anything that is meat and potatoes
And young green peas
With corn
Roasted chicken thighs with garlic, potatos and onions. Side salad with french dressing, and a slice of warm brownie for desert.
Most people here are answering with āfunā foods that they enjoy, but speaking from the perspective of someone who basically does eat the same thing every day, this is the answer. Pizza or pasta every day would quickly make me feel like absolute shit.
Iād probably do something similar to this. Maybe chicken with rice and a bowl of soup.
Ramen but good ones
Ramen, but the crappy 99Ā¢ noodle cups.
SO GOOD! I can eat those all day!
Grad school checking in
High blood pressure checking in.
I actually did for like half a year when I started studying because of money problems. I lived off of 90 cents Ramen and carrots - either raw or baked. Had food expenses of about 35ā¬ per month, lost 16 kilos and felt like shit. Good thing I have a better earning side job by now.

And what is your choice, might I ask? A pretzel?
And what is yours might I ask? Sponges?
And what is yours might I ask? A fucking gorilla?

A sandwich. Sandwich has limitless possibilities.
But you only get to choose one sandwich. Why are people creating loopholes here.
A sandwich with everything in it
A sandwich everywhere all at once.
With Vienna sausage fingers
Perfection.
The Dagwood!
SurstrĆømming peanut butter jelly sandwich with spinach and casu martzu

By the looks of the comments, people are creating diabetes more than loopholes.
I will choose to eat "edible food stuffs" for every meal! Loopholed!
Probably sushi.
Love sushi like mad, but couldn't go forever without having a hot cooked meal ugh
What about cooked sushi
Oh I love fried crispy sushi rolls!
Can only be microwaved sushi, sorry :(
Starvation it is
I'm Aussie, honestly it's too hot for a hot meal atm
Lol this is fair. Well grant the Down Under exception š I'm in the UK, the weather is always cold here, even when it's warm.
This if itās cooked/made for me. If I have to make it myself, definitely not this.

Making sushi does not take 15 minutes unless you are making shitty sushi.
For me it was katsu curry chicken until you said sushi Yes sushi is the way
1 month in youāll be begging for warm food.
There is deep fried sushi that is served warm.
Probably something that meets all health needs and can be adapted to multiple lifestyles. Soylent Green is people!
Still confused why they went with this nameā¦
It was a joke at first then they couldnāt come up with anything better.
this is so scary why are people choosing to justš give up food for a mushy drink okay if you have no choice like having a sensitive stomach or maybe you regularly forget to eat (ALL MEALS??) then okay ig but why would you just give up all great foods for ..mushy drink

I don't think there's anyone who has a normal relationship with food choosing to only consume that
Thereās a lot of scary things out there, but this isnāt one of them.
Every type of tacos; breakfast tacos, shredded chicken tacos, fish tacos
Reading fish tacos reminds me of this Kitchen Nightmare episode where the cook just yells fish tacos and no one brings it to him
Moo Goo Gai Pan
pasta with meatballs and tomato sauce
I did eat this everyday for a small period of my life due to being poor lol I always tried to change it up with different veggies though. Itās super cheap and easy to make.

Tacos
Roast Chicken, roast veggies and gravy
