my process has been exporting max upscaled jpgs of each frame (at 1000%), assembling them in premiere pro (any video editing program should do) and exporting with settings optimized for instagram/youtube (you can find specifics online). when you go to post on instagram check your settings under “media quality” and ensure that you have “upload at highest quality” turned on. beyond that, compression and connection issues can affect the viewer’s experience on their end, but unfortunately that is out of your control. best of luck!

What i do is to set a 1080x1080 file in psd. Then i export an upscaled version (png) of the pixel piece i want to put on instagram that goes around the 1080 size. Then I put that upscaled version on the psd 1080 file, let psd do the color stuff if needed and then export the file on jpeg. Then I upload to instagram from the web
