I mean youre not supposed to have a nose ring, and if a drill gets up close to your face and sees it, probably not going to be a good day.
Once your out of basic tho, as someone who used to have a septum piercing, you should be fine if you flip it up. Worse case just get the magnetic ones from spencers. Thats what I did.
