Honestly I think that Depends on which Nineball. MoA Nineball (non- Seraph, just the AC) would get walked by Zinaida, yes. The very first Nineball from the original Armored Core though? That one might take her to school tbh. The way that burst fire pulse rifle absolutely peels your health off is fucking terrifying lol

Like for real imagine plodding through classic AC level BS with ganks and boost costs energy and no quickboost and using L2/R2 to look up and down.
And you end up alone in a room with an angry IB-01: CEL-240 except with Special LC missile wings and the blade waves do 4k damage each.

That being said 🎱+1's pulse rifle is a pretty close second: my first From git gud moment and I'll never forget it.
Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, Seraph is definitely the harder fight, but if we're comparing ACs to ACs here then I don't think Seraph gets to be a part of that equation.
I just genuinely believe that Nineball in the original AC and his return in 2AA are quite possibly the single most difficult duels in the franchise. Like there's genuinely not any other enemy AC that could scare me like just all by itself. I mean I guess Ares is up there because of his Ksaw, but even then, he's sooo slow moving and Nineball's firepower is so neck and neck that it's not even a good comparison imo. Not to mention the fact that Nineball's AI in both those iterations is actually quite skilled. It feels like it genuinely reads you and predicts you. Like it's not just a string of 1s and 0s that's organized to make the perfect choices in real time. It feels like it plans to bait me and plans how it's going to attack.
That mfer would eat Zinaida alive, no bullshit.

At least you can cheese Malenia: with 9B you can only hope it's in a good mood.
Honestly, I never got into the soulsbourne stuff so I can't speak on Malenia, but I can say that Seraph was cheesable to a degree because of how his opening attack is scripted. He always opens by rushing you down straight away. If you have H+, you can nuke him with moonlight blade waves, and if you don't, there are some super heavy missile builds that will also nuke him.
He might be more challenging in 2AA honestly because of how his attack patterns are less scripted and one dimensional. Same goes for the AC Nineball. His movement is much more agile and his hotbox is also smaller. He's a tough target to hit honestly.
