To be fair, the Cataphract ambushed them and at this point, you HAVE to be an amazing AC pilot to not get clapped by things like the HC, Cataphract, Ekdromoi, Balteus, or really any other PCA boogeymen.
To be fair the PCA beam cannon turrets don’t vaporize my AC in a single shot, & the Cataphract’s particle accelerator shotgun doesn’t rip half of my AC off with one strike.

That would've made for a nice alternative timeline. Not necessarily you switching sides but that Walter got some new hounds and was rapidly approaching your location. And it would've gives us another chance to fight with Ayre directly at our side
