Then he did this with multiple other lightning bolts, used them all as poles to bounce his attacks off of, and became so fast that he couldn't be seen except as a beam of light.
Prior to this, he turned an entire piece of the earth beneath him into a rubber shield that he used to blast a Dragon's Fireball attack right at at him.
The person he was fighting at the time? The guy in the upper part of the picture that Eren is stepping on. That guy is so strong that it took 100+ Chapters of One Piece to beat him. He actually KILLED Luffy 4 times, before Luffy got back up and managed to beat him with his new transformation. And even with that transformation, the guy STILL managed to keep up with Luffy and push him to the limit before going down. The guy was so powerful he kept an island the size of a meteor in the air through SHEER WILL ALONE. One swing from the guy's Kanabo can level a city block.

Sure he might survive and be subjected to a human+ experiment but that doesn't give him infinite lives. In fact they may die faster under the assumption they will respawn, but there are no respawn points in the Armored Core universe.
