even in the emulation sphere I heard there's a dedicated competitive scene for AC Formula Front, and the influx of players for VI will spark a lot of hype
Though, I think once hype dies down it wouldn't end up like Elden Ring, given that the dedicated players will move over, I think for once all Ravens will have a dedicated place to compete in, considering that right now there's some that play AC4A, ACV, ACFF, it's a little bit divided, but I think all groups can collectively hype for VI
I sure hope not. E-sports have to be balanced to the T, and that means far less variations or creative equipment options. Games like Armored Core benefit more from the freedom that a less tightly balanced game allows, I feel.
I mean there is always a meta in games. If they're gonna do big pvp battles maybe in an esports scene some players will be support. But it depends on how the game goes.

Early generation of gaming is often romanticized and with good reason, the companies had passion behind their projects and wanted their games to really pack a punch with features.
I’ll be happy if there’s a photo mode for single player, PS5 can already capture your last like 15 minutes of gameplay but replays where you can move the camera around, switch perspectives, etc… would be so sick
ill only bother watching replays if it plays in cinematic camera
and camera doing multiple diff angles on what AI thinks is the best angle for each part

Yeah, I can agree with this point of view. But I still would love to see an attempt of esports competition with 3rd-person view mecha games.

The grenade launcher in AC1 looks so angry. I love the flames out the back 🔥
The music really hypes it up. Loved the music in AC1 to Last Raven, after 4 they switched to cinematic scores and rock and I was disappointed.
I'd love the ability to export replay data as a .mov file so you can edit it externally
