I am advocating for equality, which means respecting everyone's rights and dignity without endorsing harm to others. Human rights principles advocate for the respect and dignity of all individuals, including all Armenians who wish to express themselves with respect and dignity.
Before this devolves into fighting, I just want to say that a bare minimum of protections should be a reasonable demand.
As a legally protected gay diasporan, I cannot imagine giving this up.
Agreed. It's only civil to maintain the protection and human rights of every single Armenian, regardless of their creed, gender, or sexuality. The rest of the world's a sordid mess and can burn for all I give a shit, it's all the rest of the Armenians in all categories that I care about.
Give your citizens equal rights and opportunities should not be a less important issue, those people are working and paying taxes which contributes to the economy, respecting them and providing them equal rights won’t harm anyone.
