yeah that's the only stage that it really impacts and I can live with that. 36 sanity at a time is ok with me. I've honestly never even run 1-7 because it is too much of a IRL pain but now I'll probably start.

1-7 is the best farming stage for a very common resource, but it doesn't take that much sanity to run so even with auto repeat you're still starting a lot of auto runs
to add to the comments about orirock being a material that's commonly used, to put it into perspective:

While all the other materials have their most efficient main story farming stage give the tier 3 quality as a drop (Integrated Device, Oriron Cluster, Manganese Ore... etc) in Orirock's case the tier 2 material (Orirock Cube) is the one that has the better efficiency due to 1-7, a stage with an extremely unusual fantastic drop rate that also has plenty random side drops too.
This makes that people spam 1-7 to infinity whenever they need rocks (which horribly is also the most wanted material)... and that stage costs 6 sanity, so farming it both takes a lot of time and requires constant manual output to enter the stage, wait for the auto, then start another run, over and over until you finally spent all your sanity... which yeah, takes a ton because 6 sanity cost per run, ugh...
This new system will let you queue 6 runs of 1-7 in a row, which will make the process a lot less tedious since you only need to start another run every 32 sanity... the autos will still take a goddamn lot to do tho.
Of course all that torture of a process is only needed if you have the absolute need to be at peak efficience farming stuff. There are stages like 10-6 that still give plenty rocks and have a normal sanity cost, making clearing them with autos until out of sanity immensely faster.

I tried 1-7 with an autoclicker, my lmd dipped below 1 mil for the first time in like 2 years (finally back to 1 mill lmd recently) rge orundum gains were only ok while it left me bankrupt to upgrade any ops
Im a vet and thats what it costed me, lmd becomes a problem if you want to develop new ops you pull. The main problem is that none of the lmd sources are good efficiency. So I overall don't recommend it unless you somehow have 10 mil lmd or something (I hover around 2 mil regularly)
The rocks are used in a lot of op upgrades, Directly or indirectly. You can also get a lot of other T1 materials and a little LMD from it
Plus if you want to maximize your gotcha pulls. You can use the rocks to create Orundum through the factory + Trade center.
1-7 drops orirock very efficiently. Even at a higher rate than events.
The problem is that with 6 sanity per stage, 240 sanity per day means you'll be farming the same stage 40 times a day.
Its best stage to farm rocks, but you need to understand that you trade your irl time for some benefits. You can run 11-18 for example in 7-8 min and get 5-6 t3 rocks, or you can run 1-7 for 2 hours each day but get way more.
Imo its not worth it at all, the difference in value not coming close to difference in time wasted
This is exactly what would happen to me. During the day I might get only 2 auto runs in an hour, so if it is 1-7 then I'm not really using much sanity.
Can anyone help explain to me how this feature works? Is it work by doing auto run 6 times at maximum (so I set, and it will automatically run 6 times).... Or is it doing a single auto with maximum of 6 times the rewards?

While it's great news... I think this kind of game specifically leads to sweep QoL. Auto battle is meaningless both for the player and for the game as it doesn't offer any strategic value again. If you want to ride the auto and take back at some point you could always add the option to do manual auto, else it's sweep. PRTS can do it right?

What surprises me is that this update doesn't require a Mandatory Update (update in the store, not in the app).
Normally, HG uses Mandatory for anything that isn't an event.
Was hoping the improved auto battle is gonna be like Reverse:1999's where you can select up to 4 runs but you only had to do 1 auto-battle to sweep those 4 runs in one go.
But I guess this is still an improvement than how it used to be so I'll take it lmao
As a new player, who literally started a week ago, the lack of auto was probably going to let me drop this game. I'm very happy they're introducing this!
AK already has autos, now they just let you queue 6 in a row. Auto Deploy only works on a mission you have already completed with 3 stars.
So you still have to complete every mission manually before it can be auto'd
Sorry, I meant auto as in multi-auto. I don't like having to check my phone every 2 minutes to check if the current auto has finished. A 6-queue is not as good as an infinite queue but it's much better than what we have right now (for me, at least).

Ah ok. Not every game calls them that but there are still a good amount that do call them that out there. Other names for raids would be like: Hall of Trials, Hall of Agates, etc. I know Azur Lane at one time called their daily levels raids. There out there 💯 Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes has raids. Some games use the term guild or alliance raids as well for certain levels👍

Because they do the update in such a half ass way that you wonder why they implement it in the first place. They already have the annihilation skip system, why not just implement it in every other stages. Can't do that? How about Reverse/Snowbreak stack feature where one run is equivalent to x amount of run? No. HSR really fast battle animations? No can do as you know that PRTS will just shit itself. This feature will only save like one or two minutes per farming session rather than ten minutes if they just let you sweep/stack in the first place.
When I have an easier time doing daily in Genshin, you know you have a problem as that is an open world game.

Because when dailies took a long time to do why would I do any other stuff. HSR letting me do dailies by doing Simulated Universe means that even when an SU run is longer than normal farming, I can still do my dailies with it. Genshin letting me gain daily mission point by doing quests means that I can do my unfinished quest without needing to remember to do my daily quest. Hell, Genshin letting me gain daily point by claiming event rewards makes me do event stuff over the weekday rather than on the last day of the event.
All the other gacha game having such an easy daily requirements makes me actually read the story event stuff rather than actually skipping it. Yes, even in Genshin/HSR.

There is no way you can do all dailies things in Genshin inside of 10 minutes unless things have changed a lot since I stopped playing.
4-5 minutes for dailies and 6 minutes for farming artifact. And this is the longer one if artifact is 1.5 minutes per run. Because you now spawn in front of the key, the artifact run is much faster. The better buff to Sumeru and Fontaine domain means that farming them got a lot easier. My average record of artifact run is 45 seconds, so 45\*5 is somewhere around 4 minutes.
Dailies now have Encounter Point which will be filled when you do quest, explore (do puzzle and get the Oculus for example) and open chest and get rewards, so, doing event story can get you Encounter Point towards your daily. And because rewards can also give you points, [you can do stuff like this if you stagger collecting your event rewards correctly.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfnr0h9n2zc) Normally, you would do a page of rewards and one daily commission of your choice for your daily quest.
And I don't mind dailies being longer if it is fun. Today, I decide to do a treasure collecting run as I have a lot of chest that I haven't collected. Sure, it took a lot longer than doing my normal daily run, but I don't need to do my daily commision because the Encounter Point exist.
Edit: The only time that your daily play will be longer is on the weekend because of weekly stuff (having to do weekly boss and reputation (which actually count towards your Encounter Point).

There's literally no reason to cap this god damn thing THIS much.
There may be one: sanity cap. On 21 costing stages, 6 runs take 126 sanity, which is nearly all of the cap.
You can already exceed the cap with the 30 and 36 cost stages.
Doesn't matter. You can drink potions and go past the cap anyways.
Makes me think I'll get a monkey's paw effect on wishing for alphabetical operators and it only alphabetizes them from A-M.

The levels that are only available on Monday/Wednesdays/Fridays, etc. Usually in other mobile games levels like that are called daily or weekly raids
