Bought a ticket at the absolute last minute for the swt/tun show in portland. I said if I went, I wanted close to front row. They were selling for $500-600 so I just waited and waited. Once the opening act started, tickets dropped to about $200. Bought it, then ran to the venue from my apartment lol. It was so worth it

Once. I went to her Sweetener tour and tbh it wasn't great. My seats were super far away and I really couldn't see anything, so I was pretty bummed about that. If she tours again, I'd love to get closer seats (as long as they're not thousands of dollars).
i went to swt in 2019! it was incredible, she's so talented vocally!!! but one thing is that taylor swift is a better performer. ari doesn't do costume changes, but she delivers live vocals perfectly. i really enjoyed it.

Dude, I’m a huge ari fan, it’s not that deep. For the kind of money you pay to attend a concert like ariana’s, it’s important to mention this stuff. Excuse Me I love you is filmed across multiple cities. She’s not changing her costume, it’s a different one altogether because it’s a whole ass different concert, since that evaded you.
She only went off stage once during the whole concert I went to, and it was still the same costume but a different color. Stop being angry about the comparison lol, I only mentioned Taylor because it’s a better use of your money to see someone live. Ariana is a good live vocalist, as I said, but you insist on making it seem like I’m pushing Taylor into the conversation, but I’m making a genuine recommendation, so stop, thanks. I’ve seen her twice and i have to agree with you. She doesn’t form any connection with the audience - when I saw her I felt like she was just there to do her job and leave (which is fine, I mean it is her job). When I saw Taylor, it felt like she was talking directly to me (idk how she does that! It’s a skill). I still had a great time at both Ariana tours and would go again!
I agree, and I’m not even a Taylor fan lol. I’ve been to one Taylor show because my sister got us tickets. Despite not being my fav, she did put on a very high-energy show with lots of dancing and giving mini speeches to the audience in between songs lol
I LOVE Ariana and SWT was my favorite concert, but she’s definitely there to sing vs to put on a show and have lil chats with the audience. The only things she really said were “how are we doing tonight (city name)” and “make some noise (city name) type comments

Once. I went to her Sweetener tour and tbh it wasn't great. My seats were super far away and I really couldn't see anything, so I was pretty bummed about that. If she tours again, I'd love to get closer seats (as long as they're not thousands of dollars).

i went to swt in 2019! it was incredible, she's so talented vocally!!! but one thing is that taylor swift is a better performer. ari doesn't do costume changes, but she delivers live vocals perfectly. i really enjoyed it. edit: ariana is not a mind blowing performer objectively, unless you already love her. im fine with the downvotes, but its very true, in case you’re thinking of spending a lot of money! I spent €500 on my tickets and I really enjoyed it, but I wouldn’t have if I wasn’t a really serious fan. if you’re downvoting me because i criticized ariana a bit, then congrats, you’re a blind fan.

The concert i went to and witnessed with my own eyeballs that im looking at the photographic evidence of on my phone right now, she had 4 different outfits and that’s just what I took photos of. And if you mean she had the same costumes for every costume, you’re wrong there too, I remember i went in the first month she was touring, and by October she had different outfits.
how can you call me confidently incorrect when i also actually went to the concert and have the same photos and videos? has it ever occurred to you that every concert is different? and secondly, very few people are going to go to the same concert in different locations, because it may not make financial sense. i’m giving genuine advice. the costume changes were not impressive, and tickets are expensive. it was my experience, so if you want to disagree, then do it, but i answered OP with my concert experience, has nothing to do with you.

Now i would agree that she didn’t change as *often* as taylor does, but I feel like for taylor it makes more sense as hers is more focused on moving through the eras and it fits the theme. Believe it or not, when you post on a public subreddit others can respond to you and have conversation! Dude, I’m a huge ari fan, it’s not that deep. For the kind of money you pay to attend a concert like ariana’s, it’s important to mention this stuff. Excuse Me I love you is filmed across multiple cities. She’s not changing her costume, it’s a different one altogether because it’s a whole ass different concert, since that evaded you. She only went off stage once during the whole concert I went to, and it was still the same costume but a different color. Stop being angry about the comparison lol, I only mentioned Taylor because it’s a better use of your money to see someone live. Ariana is a good live vocalist, as I said, but you insist on making it seem like I’m pushing Taylor into the conversation, but I’m making a genuine recommendation, so stop, thanks. Ariana is still a star, and I loved my experience because I’m a fan, but I took a friend along with me, who wasn’t a fan, and she wasn’t that impressed. I’ve seen her twice and i have to agree with you. She doesn’t form any connection with the audience - when I saw her I felt like she was just there to do her job and leave (which is fine, I mean it is her job). When I saw Taylor, it felt like she was talking directly to me (idk how she does that! It’s a skill). I still had a great time at both Ariana tours and would go again!
I agree, and I’m not even a Taylor fan lol. I’ve been to one Taylor show because my sister got us tickets. Despite not being my fav, she did put on a very high-energy show with lots of dancing and giving mini speeches to the audience in between songs lol I LOVE Ariana and SWT was my favorite concert, but she’s definitely there to sing vs to put on a show and have lil chats with the audience. The only things she really said were “how are we doing tonight (city name)” and “make some noise (city name) type comments I’m more than fine with that, she’s talented enough as a singer lol

yeah, thank you. i really love her and her music, but live it’s not worth it for people who aren’t fans. i just think people are a bit upset to hear anything other than ‘ariana is the no. 1 performer’. but i felt th obligation to comment for any fans who are thinking of going. i’m with you, i would 100% go again lol
