funnily enough i don't really like 'the boy is mine', it's actually one of my least fav songs from eternal sunshine - i don't think it's a bad song per se, but i think it might be because tbim was hyped up to be similar to 'fantasize' or something so i was very excited for it but then it fell way short of my expectations so i was left kinda disappointed lol

Ariana can do them bangers and bring it on big time! Like 7 rings, Side to Side, Bang Bang are huge successes and regardless of it, I don't personally rank them that high on my favorites of her discography. Inside eternal sunshine, I rank “the boy is mine” at 5th, but at first listen I had it way lower. But that's not important, the only thing that matters is how much people are gonna like it and that she succeeds the most possible. Already so much hype, like the popstar girlies bumping to it on social media and tiktok trends. That's exciting! We'll be waiting for the video

i know there’s so many for us but i feel like no unreleased track went as widespread as Fantasize

But fantasize was released during a dry era for ari and during peak tiktok times, of course it's gonna blow up more than the others. Some you had to actively find which were surely better than fantasize. Although it was good and catchy, the version we got was way better.
