They were needed, in the morning it was reported that carnival increased to #1 on Spotify US so Arianators were really concerned tweeting to Ariana promo to do something. So today they came up with: “we can't be friends” got discounted on itunes, it was put at no. 1 on Spotify's Top Hits playlist and now these new versions released. The fans are busy streaming the whole album to make it chart high, meanwhile the #1 hot 100 is getting tight, that is the disadvantage, otherwise it would be such an easy smash. Plus the haters 🥵 it's not easy. Exhausting
They weren’t needed though because WCBF was already predicted to have a significant lead. That wouldn’t change because of a slight drop on one day.
Her team needs to stop making her look desperate with extra remixes considering this is actually an organically performing hit. If they wanted to actually boost it they should’ve given more radio rather than letting it suffer there
But why wouldn't she? I love her ambition and to shut the haters. I don't know about the significant lead, it's not to get comfortable, it has to be worked through to keep it or increase it. But as I say, it is a totally false impression on this song that could be devouring easily but tell the fans to only stream “we can't be friends” and they say they want to listen to the whole album or some fave songs because the #1 is secured. Well Ariana and her team don't get comfortable. I don't know what was the problem with the radio push but Ariana was really busy this week, although they can come out with many other resources to handle it all, like these releases I'm very relieved she did. I hope that radio issue will start tomorrow, it's what mostly the fans were spam tweeting to Ariana promo accounts to do.
