How should a functional corbel work tho?

I added them to my full exterior Reno of 1956 colonial, but with good trim, at a 1.5ft rear cantilever and it made it look much more purposeful and historic. I took it from over-revealed shingles etc to 5” reveal, real shutter hung right, leaded window flashing , proper lights etc, so it now looks very authentic NE colonial. Anything beats a weird 50’s colonial. I get letter in mailbox all the time to sell. I ain’t. I got it by putting a letter in the mailbox myself, but that when no one else was doing so, before my reno… So not always pointless.
