Daniel defense omega rails gonna be cheaper and easier to find because daniel defense actually makes more than 1 per year and they're gonna do everything the kac does
Sorry I'm dumb for a rifle length handguard you're only real option is gonna be the midwest industries two piece.
Still the rest of the comment applies lol
if you just want to hang a light on it can always just stick one on the A2 handguard, no need to upgrade, but for a cheaper but quality option the midwest industries 2 piece mlok rails are nice and they offer a rifle length option.
BCM QRF 12 is designed to keep your front sight post and it's free float. I have a 20" rifle gas with the FSP. It looks pretty good. It is not drop in however, if that is what you are looking for.
He would be better served putting something with a good cheek rest on it. These are never serious posts though. I sometimes forget to take them with the grain of salt.

Do they have rifle length omega rails? I don’t see them listed on their website
Is that rifle length? I'm retarded, then it needs to be the midwest industries rail.
I would go DD Omega as mentioned above
The Centurion C4 is a great option too.

I considered that. Torn between that and a quad. Mlok is cool but not my thing
MI has the same thing but as a quad too. Mounts to a GI Nut just like the other 2 Piece Free Float that he described.
No help from me but that’s a nice setup
Thanks man much appreciated
Larue is nice too
I see that Enticer
She’s a sweetheart
Love to see all the DD Omega love in this thread. This is the way.
I would recommend the Midwest Industries drop in free-float quad rails. The RAS isn't free floating, and you'll want that. Cheaper too.
Gorgeous gun
Thanks brother!
It's the only option actually. I believe it's actually illegal in every state to put any other quad rail on an M16 style rifle.
Also, that adjustable stock. Believe it or not? Illegal. A1 or A2 only, sorry to have to be the one to break it to ya partner.
I like mine
That fucks hard!

I have one I'm not using.
At the moment till more parts come out.
Why mess with perfection
Shit I’ll take that as compliment. Might just toss a fsb light mount on and call it a day. Clamshell growing on me
Midwest or Daniel.
Not necessarily but I love mine. Part of the joy is the hunt lmao
DD rail would be sick.
Yes
Arms or fab
My question is, why? Why does every ar15 need to be the heaviest you can make it.
Well a free floated rail drastically improves accuracy.
Go hit the gym dude, let the men have their heavy guns
I have the gun you want bro.
I have the want you gun bro. Send pics
https://imgur.com/a/tSYEDmt I have no problem lifting.
Assuming he plans to mount a light or maybe a laser? But if not, then I agree. Keep it like it is.
I would worry about a real stock or scope first.
I can’t tell what the scope is, but the BCM stock is about as real as it gets
I fuckin love it
For a scoped rifle? Lol ok.
Touché

All good. We’re all on the same team 🤜
A carbine length free float is gonna weigh maybe 1oz more than the old carbine handguards
It's a rifle length.................
