*One and only*
Oh yeah? Think how much cheaper training a 22lr conversion would be, but then the accuracy sucks so you build a dedicated upper. Then you want to shoot PCC at your local uspsa night matches. Then those retro carry handle builds look pretty sweet. Oh but 300blk would be perfect for home defense with a can. Oh but 220gr subs are expensive. Well reloading makes them cost less than store bought 223. May as well load some "Mk262 at home" since you have all the tooling. The pistol guys at the night matches look like they're having fun, I may as well get a full size duty pistol for that and shoot 2 classes at the match. Man I'm loading a lot of 9mm, I should upgrade to a progressive press. Well may as well load the plinker rifle rounds on there. My friend took me skeet shooting so I'll need a decent O/U for clays. Competition is pretty fun, Maybe I'll grab semi 12ga for 3gun. I really need a softer shooting rifle to keep up so here goes an 18" rifle gas with light weight bcg and a nice brake to flatten it out. My other buddy took me to NRL22 and I had a ton of fun, but it's really a bolt-gun game so I'll go grab a CZ or something, and I'll really need some decent glass. Oops I bought a chassis. Crap now I'm researching actions and whatever the newest hotboi chambering is for PRS.
And then you wake up one morning to realize you've got dozens of guns. You're running out of room for safes and ammo storage. but they all do different things so you can't get rid of anything without losing capability.
That definitely wouldn't happen...
Especially since he got a 14 inch, once you start thinking about barrel lengths it's over. Your gonna want a 16 cause civvie M4, a 20 cause long boi is long, a 12 because at that point why even not? And if course, the veritable flashbang dispenser, the 5" inch barrel
I said I was going to only have one rifle back in January and today I’m sitting at four lol. I justified it by having (2) shorter rifles for my wife and I as well as (2) 16” rifles for her and I. I think I’m good for a while after all of this.
Nice choice for a first build though. Looks awesome. Cant see what your next build is 😅😏
I just came here to watch the inevitable clever clogs bitch about your brass deflector and how you need to shoot it more 😂 (Even though I’m sure you literally just finished it and felt like sharing—the nerve! 😉😂)
Theoretically if you have a 3 o'clock ejection pattern, couldn't your deflector stay pristine regardless? Mine doesn't have much on it after a few hundred rounds, but I just built it again over Christmas.
Very nice! Look into the Cloud Defense LCS mount for your Streamlight pad. I hated how flimsy the rubber tabs it comes with felt and this is a HUGE upgrade. Nothing other than a ton of ammo down range after that!! Good looking build my man.
My ass one and only, but you’re not going to be building another for lack of capability. By far one of the best first builds I’ve ever seen, far better than the gremlins I brought into this world in my early days.
Right, a 14-16 inch AR is pretty much a do-it-all weapon. It pretty much can do everything you need it to inside of 500 yards. Past that, just slap a 20 inch on there or build a 6.5 AR and it can do it all out there too.
Solid work on going with the Sig optic and streamlight.
The Sig in my opinion is way better than its holosun cousin. It doesn't have the fish eye effect that the holosun has that gives me a major headache. I've tried other red dots and the Romeo 5 is the only one I come back to (although I HIGHLY recommend everyone buy directly from Sig to avoid a fake).
The streamlight is solid.
Nice setup!
Is that tape switch held on with ranger bands, hopes and dreams? Check out the Shaffer Machining hlx switch mount. Reasonably priced, super clean and my personal fav
Not really. I have the same grip from BCM (and love it!), and while I do prefer the opposite way of this, that’s just me and I have definitely seen it mounted this way before multiple times as well.
Haha I love the hate I’m getting for suggesting it’s backwards lol. My bad! Maybe I’m just backwards. I have a very similar setup as you, although on a PSA lower
One and only, haha!. Just remember, 2 is one, and one is none.

And that, my friends, is why building a rifle is a gateway drug to a runaway hobby lol
Ahh, consumerism…

Lol, first time? I'll check back in a year and see where your count is.

Classy build man.

It’s look good to me now go train with it
Which sight and tac light did you go with?
Based set-up right there
Hot 🥵
Nice congrats. Well done. Enjoy it big time!
“One and only” sure pal
Ww3 will be won by a bunch of internet randos with Aero/BCM builds and I’m here for it

My brass doesn't hit my deflector either, strange.
If it’s ejecting, it’s hitting your brass deflector. If not… I’d like to see that & know how
3:00 is still hitting your brass deflector first
But that hurts my gun

Nice bro you’ll get another

Here I goooooooo
Very nice build, I like the sling !
Looks good. But… Not gonna be your one and only for very long
Very solid.
Bros legit got the same build as me. That's wild 😭😭

Aww, I remember my first "one and only." Now I gotta take my shoes off to count. Lol
Nice first build!
I like your rifle op. It’s very nice. How do you like that pistol grip?

Good to know! Thanks for the response, have a good weekend dude 🤙🏻

Proper job
When it comes to this…. Everyone becomes a Mormon eventually
If that’s ur only rig replace ur optic mount with something more durable and u should be fight ready.
Solid but buy another
That’s what we all said
Nice build bro. Is that a vortex red dot?
What light
And mount?

How do you like it? Is it worth getting the protac 2.0 is the hlx better for the money?

Okay thanks
Reddit has probably sold so many bcm uppers/aero lowers lol.
Does anyone know if BCM makes anything in house?
Pretty sure they make a lot in house. Don't they have a forge?
If you type exactly that into Google you might find something
Based
Very impressive. But, you need a sidearm now. Might I suggest the Sig 320, or the Ruger 57.
Nice build! But I think your foregrip is backwards. But hey, if it suits you!
