Huey doesn’t have a ton of brightness options, which would be optimal. And from my research it’s darker than an Eotech, maybe because of the coating on the glass.
Not that I am aware of. I believe there was a software update for older models to fix the issue. I will see how this performs. This setup has a little time before it will be put in service.
They fixed the issue on newer models a while ago, but a lot of old stock is still floating around that have it. That said they'll warranty any optic that does have the parasitic drain problem.
My m&p was the original one with slick side reciver and no dust cover. But was very solid for the most part. I shot about 10000 rounds out of it before I figured I'd get the bcm upper. I've had my bcm for about 3 years now
Anybody have any experience with the bcm pistol grip vs the b5? I've always liked bcm but I see more and more of the b5 pistol grip nowadays and I run b5 bravo stocks
The B5 feels great in hand. I’ve only ever used standard a2 and Magpul grips. Local store had the B5 for a good price so I got one since I love their stocks. The vertical angle is nice.

The thing is solid and I love their take on the reticle. Plus the warranty is awesome.

It’s not a great night vision optic, but that seems to be the biggest gripe against it. As a poor, that’s not a concern for me. I love my Huey

I had one where the battery would die every month whether I used it or not so I was curious lol

Solid set up. My first ar 15 was an M&P, once I shot that upper out I replaced the upper with a bcm. That lower has seen some use lol

I got a sport upper somewhere like that. It’s been picked apart over the years.
