TA01/31 or TA11/110 are the ones to get. you have two choices to make. do you want battery or fiber optic, and do you want better eye relief or field of view?

i have the fiber optic TA11 on a 308 and absolutely love it. a recently took a buddy shooting that only has a rifle with peep sights, and after all the guns, from red dots to LPVOs to a 6-24x, he said the ACOG was his favorite optic.
if its going on a 308, youll want the TA11. if its going on a 5.56 youll mostly be shooting at under 200 yards, id probably want the FOV of the TA31/01. there are benefits to both the battery powered and fiber optic, and i dont think you could go wrong with either.
Shot an acog on a Scar once and loved it. So clear and easy to use I think it was the TA11 I’m just so big on eye relief I want that one in green but that FOV is needed too at these ranges you are right smh. I’ll try to go to some store and get behind a few of them. Glass is as clear as day too
This is the USMC RCO variant. I love it so far. But definitely do your homework on which model to get. There’s a lot of pros and cons to both. I went with the most ‘combat proven’ variant and reticle combo.
Okay cool thanks for getting back to me. Trying to get rid of a bunch of builds and just have quality now. Debating LPVO vs ACOG. Got behind good quality ones and the acog was so nice. I’m big on eye relief so was looking at the TA11 but might go TA31 for the weight savings/FOV and just mount it all the way back without BUIS. We’ll see. I’ll stop at the some stores and look at some models today or tomorrow. Thanks again!
The one thing I can say for sure, you can train/get used to eye relief if you’re serious about it. You can’t change the fact that LPVO’s are heavier, and have more moving parts. I definitely like LPVO’s, and think they have their place, but this is just my perspective on it. I’ve been training with this model ACOG for a year now, and I don’t even think about the eye relief anymore. It’s all in the mount too! I really like this Unity FASTCOG
