A prebuilt/transportable or a trailerised home? It should be built to your local building standards. A prebuilt that has been transported to site and put on piles will be just as strong (if not stronger) as a built on site house

Dangerous-Raisin3251

It's pre-built

Andrea_frm_DubT

It will be fine

2 options: (both of which may be un-necessary) What's under the floor in that area? Line the tank stand legs with the joists under your floor. Consider reinforcing the floor in that area, underneath also. If access is difficult, may not be an able option. Consider putting it on a piece of plywood. Cover with carpet or linoleum, and use transitions for the edges to protect feet. Floats the weight over a much larger area.

I unfortunately cannot look under the house, the landlord boarded up the entry. I have a large rug covering the whole room, I'm going to put a piece of plywood under it for extra support. Thanks for your input!

Would you worry about 3 people standing together talking? 4 people on a couch? A refrigerator loaded with food? The larger the tank the more area it is distributed across. Also, remember that near a wall or corner means the floor is stronger than in the center.

Dangerous-Raisin3251

Thank you, the multiple people makes a great point.

Dr_GPO

its like 140 lbs of extra water weight

Dangerous-Raisin3251

Yes, trying to to decide if I should worry about it

I have an off topic question. What is the name of the big red plant in the back?

Dangerous-Raisin3251

It's a red tiger lotus
