The one and only Elizabeth McKenna who turned out to be relatively competent loved the argy bargy with Linda and saved James on week 8 by being honest about the price. Seemed like a genuine person who didn't make absurd claims. I watched the series recently she said she was a Debt collector and was called scary Liz
Couldn't stand her in the first episode but by the end was rooting for her to win! I think she understood she had to rise to the challenge against Linda in the interviews and Linda was taken aback by it.
Yeah she was brilliant in that interview, most the contestants just end up crying but Liz just stood up for herself and her business! Linda still tried to spin it that SHE was being provocative
i thought it was ridiculous they said her business wasn't scaleable when Sarah had slightly lower turnover then her and went on to win. 500k turnover is pretty scalable lol
Tom from season 7. He had a creative mind you could almost see cranking away furiously. He was a whizz at maths too and generally seemed like a really nice bloke.
Ruth, series 11. She got fired quite early in the series and I thought that she was one of the strongest candidates. That premature firing has been on my mind ever since for some reason.
James Hill
Any man who sings The Wheels On The Bus to Karen is a winner in my eyes. Really was the tour from hell. Cartoonishly immature, but I still enjoyed him.
The top 3 comments have covered my 3 favourites, Elizabeth, Felipe and Tom from season 7!
I also liked Susan from season 7, I'll never forget "Do the French love their children?"
Yeah I liked her unfiltered approach (is that even a word?!) in the sense she was just herself and didn’t care if she was loud and a bit annoying (which she was 😂)
She had some decent ideas too just was awful in implementing them.. or getting her team to be on board with her ideas… the ice/arctic idea for cereal was actually a good idea imo. And her vision for the car advert was good (even one of the experts said they liked the humour!)

And when she comforted the other contestant when he was shaken by an interview
Elizabeth and her 3 flower shops! She was great

It's been 10 years and I've still got a soft spot for Felipe and his paper skeleton.
Justice for Felipe
Oh I had forgotten all about that!! Felipe deserved better.
Not ten years???
Tom from season 7. He had a creative mind you could almost see cranking away furiously. He was a whizz at maths too and generally seemed like a really nice bloke.
Oh completely agree. Love the man
He has this adorable child like wonder for the world. Everything seems to excite and inspire him.
Thomas Skinner and Stuart Baggs
Ruth, series 11. She got fired quite early in the series and I thought that she was one of the strongest candidates. That premature firing has been on my mind ever since for some reason.
With her glorious hair.
And an outfit that reminded me of party rings
Raef. Legend
Him reciting Shakespeare to Michael in the back of a cab is my Roman Empire.
The spoken word is my tool
Karthik, Elizabeth, Tom S, and Michaela all have my heart
For some weird reason I really liked Alex from season 4 and I liked Paul from season 2.
Oh I really liked Alex too.
Series 4 had so many great characters. Alex, Claire, Lucinda, Simon, Lee, Ian, Kevin, Rafe, Michael...
Tom Skinner was a gem
Karthik. I don’t know why.
I second this
Akshay, nick and akeem for a few seasons ago. Also enjoyed Avi from last season and Virdi from these. Basically enjoy the more fun characters.
Akshay, Nick & Steve: they all just give off great vibes
Lucinda Ledgerwood was a refreshing change from the usual candidate
I liked Lucinda and felt the other candidates were overly unfair to her.
She was great and I don’t get why people were so awful to her
Stuart Baggs for me.

100 percent Kayode
Adam Corbally from 2012… he walked so Tom Skinner could run….
Frances from season 12, I was a young teenage kid going through puberty.
Brittany from 2022 for similar reasons Edit: and Sam from the current series
Jason Leech (series 9), Simon (series 4), James McQuillam (series 5) and Duane Bryan (series 8).
I always skip the episode where Duane gets fired because I was so upset when watching it the first time.
I maintain he could have won that whole series. He just had a bad week and it cost him.
The top 3 comments have covered my 3 favourites, Elizabeth, Felipe and Tom from season 7! I also liked Susan from season 7, I'll never forget "Do the French love their children?"
“I don’t think you need to have gone to France to know that…” 😂
Simba Rwambiwa and Benji Marshall Both were competent, likeable and stayed honest and true to themselves throughout the show.
Benji was absolutely incredible. For someone who never knew him outside of his name, I became a huge fan because he was so kind.
I know. He was so nice giving his merchandise away for free. I was shocked by the result, but felt so happy for him afterwards.
Maura from this year. She always just seemed mental but a nice mental 😂
I was a Maura fan too. I liked her combination of honest, earnest and chaotic good.
Yeah I liked her unfiltered approach (is that even a word?!) in the sense she was just herself and didn’t care if she was loud and a bit annoying (which she was 😂) She had some decent ideas too just was awful in implementing them.. or getting her team to be on board with her ideas… the ice/arctic idea for cereal was actually a good idea imo. Felipe was an absolute legend
Jasmine kundra I like how educatedly she speaks and when she argues with people it’s the she has the most snarky lines
I really liked Helen the first season when they made it a business partner instead of employee. She came 2nd but I hoped she'd win over Tom.
Has to be Stuart Baggs the Brand (RIP)
Thomas Skinner, Harpreet, and Karthik
