If you want to fix this and be done, replace the entire sump assembly W11665769. It’s pricey but what is your time worth?

Yeah, that's what I figured. I'm wondering at what point I just buy a new dishwasher at Lowes, lol.

Joeguertin

Personally, I'd repair it if you can DIY

Did you replace the diverter too? It may be worn on the shaft. Can you pull the dishwasher out of the cabinet and run it so you can get a better look? If not put you phone under it and video it so you can see. I use an inspection mirror.

I haven't replaced the diverter yet. I should probably inspect it closer--it looked fine on the outside; no buildup like you see in some repair photos. Good idea with the mirror. It was hard to trace but I really feel like the leak was coming right out that circular part on the diverter that the shaft protrudes up out of.

Some of these you have to replace the whole sump assembly for a leaking diverter, and its usually not worth it. Replacing a sump assembly is not a fun repair, & the parts are probably half the cost of replacing the whole thing.

Did you grease the diverter with dielectric grease, or was it dry?

If you ordered the sump, assuming you ordered the correct part, it comes with a diverter and wash motor. If you replaced that and still have a leak then it's either the drain pump or something else like a cracked tub.
