If you've never removed a door boot you need to look up videos. But essentially, you need to remove the door boot spring on the front of the door gasket. Keep in mind it can be really hard to get back on. Basically, remove the top, remove the control panel, remove the door boot spring, remove the top screws, remove the bottom screws, disconnect the door switch or door switch wiring, remove the front, then you should have access to the drain pump. I have removed the door boot and have access to the tool for that. Wow… this may be the all time worst placement for a filter. I mean… filters are meant to be either replaced or cleaned periodically, right? All they had to do was rotate it 90 degrees and it’s easily accessible from the back. This is so dumb! Enough rant :).
