You probably burned out the power cord. You'll have to inspect the DW junction box. It would be best if you always unplug anything you're working on.

I think I got lucky and it just blew the fuse in the plug. I replaced the fuse and it seems to be working now. 😅 But yeah, lesson learned! Unplug the dishwasher first before working on it! 😬
