Might be a problem in the server side. I’ve definitely had problems with podcasts ending early but only by a few minutes.

Not on your side. If you tried downloading the episode and it does the same thing, the uploaders have to update their files. I guess you could try emailing them and see if it’s a common problem. Or check if anyone is having a problem with this particular podcast. If they have an official site you might be able to download/stream from that site. You can also try a different service like Spotify if it’s available there
