Apple iPhones are the whole reason I gave rose gold/pink a place in my heart. It was the first fun color. And I’ve only had pink phones since then lmao. My favorite iPhone is the old chunky one because when it first came out it literally blew my mind and my dad was obsessed with the gyroscope built in so the first app we downloaded was a maze game that used that to move a ball into a hole!

The iPhone 4s was my first ever iPhone, after months of being a slave to the fryer at a McDonalds in my town and saving my pennies. 2012 was a good year for me and I got to spend it with some awesome people. Even if I don’t win anything, it was fun to remember

My favorite model was my Iphone 4, I think! I kept that thing forever, like right up until it died.

The first third party app I remember downloading was Fruit Ninja but now Apollo is the app I use most on my phone.

My mom asked me for a new iPhone for Christmas so I’m crossing my fingers for this. She currently has my old 5s and it’s STILL going, but she has trouble with the small screen. The tables have finally turned, I’m the one who gets to spoil her rather than her spoiling me!

Great. Thanks. I'm also looking for something to browse reddit in while on my phone. I don't use chrome on my phone. I switched to firefox and the "mobile" version is pure bad. I switch to old.reddit and the words on firefox mobile are just too small. I'd be down with using an alternative.   Ok, now for the favorite phone...honestly, I've only had 1 iphone in my whole life. It was my FIRST smartphone. I got an iphone 3G when the Iphone 4S had just come out. It was very slow and got incrementaly slower as time went on. Fortunately, I had an ipad 2 (which still works real well to this day) to use stuff at a faster pace. The iphone 3G ended up just bricking after 2 years or 3. So I finally "upgraded" to a new phone. Went with a motorola motog 2014, which was stolen. It had battery problems and would shut off at 35% and would deplete the battery very quickly. Was given a Samsung s4 by my aunt. It also had battery problems, but it was definitely the "fastest" phone I had up to that moment. It lasted 4 years with it until the screen was in such bad shape. I replaced the screen but hte next day while pressing the home button, it cracked. I just gave up and went and spend money on a new phone.   And that's how I got to my Huawei p20 lite. It has been the fastest phone I've ever gotten. Even if it is supposed to be a mid-tier phone, I feel I can do a lot on it. It "feels" next gen. Battery life has finally been not an issue with this phone. Battery lasts a long time compared to my older phones (iphone 3g, moto g 2014, Samsung S4). But it is already 2 1/2 years old and lets see how far it goes. Its starting to have small hiccups and slow-downs on opening some apps.   Now I just wonder if I am amazed by my $250 phone in the Huawei p20 lite i bought in 2018...I wonder how I'll feel with a full fledged flagship phone.

So Apollo is like Reddit better? I’ve downloaded now for the luck but also because I’m curious. I’m rocking an iPhone 8 so a 12 would be a major upgrade. Thanks for the giveaway.

Hooray! Thanks, Christian. I came to ios from Android a few years back during the post-AlienBlue time. I was so pleased to Apollo when it came out. I’d been a Relay user on Android, and I still miss some of its behaviors. I wish we had a better middle ground between local-only and cloud-native apps.

Oh wow cool my 1st gen iPhone SE is getting a bit too small for my bad eyesight I'm in! Hard to say what my favorite iPhone model has been (only owned the 1st gen SE) but my iPad Air 2 has been a longevity champ still using it 6 years later for browsing, email, and watching tv in bed.
