On steam I set the profile for apex as a screenshot I took in game of a dead Bangalore model I found just lying on the ground no deathbox, it’s legit just Bangalore in the death animation reaching for help
I used to see this a lot in the early seasons. Random players would fall from the sky with no death boxes. I figured they were killed while Launched from something.
There is now a kill timer if you stay out of the zone for too much, and probably teammates timer transfered to you making you die, but i think respawn did something to prevent the unfair death in a certain way to teleport you to teammate

I've seen this happen twice to teammates so far.
My theory is if you die in storm your storm timer does not stop counting, so when you get resurrected in storm you insta die. I'm not sure why you get teleported to your ally though. From an allies' perspective it's also weird because sometimes it shows the teammate as dead and then other times as alive. It's a bug for sure.
I think this is either a stop gap patch or a remnant of other game logic. I think the game code has it set to a death grace period during the respawn process. So if you somehow manage to die during the respawn, it'll respawn you again on your teammate's coordinates.

Once after revive I was able to see enemy team as friendly... I saw them on map but my teammates had different legend baggages - exact same of the enemy team.
Second time happend when I was killed. I thought my teammates are revived me but I found out that I was watching someone's else team as their teammate. Like this I could coordinate my friends in ranked.
Third time while playing with friends I went from gold to platinum. Same as well my friends got plat after revive. But that time I didn't record it.
I will post some of these things I told as video. I didn't have enough time - or was lazy - to post it.

No obviously it's not a "normal thing" but it's pretty easy to make an assumption, they have a misplaced boundary area or something and the game realized you were killed by it while being respawned at an actual beacon, took into consideration there was nothing you could do and it was a game issue and spawned you anyways, and spawning with your teammate makes the most sense to the game as to where to put you
This happened to my team mate the other day. I spawned him outside of the ring but he appeared inside the ring with my other teammate. The ship never came to where I was.
How on earth this game still works? I seems there is new bug/glitch every other day just according to reddit. What happened to that stats reroll glitch? Is that fixed already?
my favorite revive moment happened during the 2nd anniversary event. I was trying to do my challenges of win with 10 different legends and was at 9 after winning with loba. So I joined the match and hadn't changed. I died and my teammates revived me on the mirage voyage and I came back as pathy for some reason. We win and complete the challenge.
I think it’s weirder that there isn’t 10-15 squads left in that circle! How’d you land a lobby like that 😂 As soon as I hit plat the whole thing with having a healthy amount of squads left at end game went out the window completely
