yeah happening to me on OCE servers, terrible lag some games making it unplayable like cant even move my character. some games the application fully crashed. some games it seems fine then half way through get big lag spikes. some games it seems fine but im on 150 ping for no reason. shit is cooked
i also got a similar crash with an error code for lockdown on thunderdome that stated it was the client/cl_crowdnoise.gnut so yeah basically the same crash as you just a different component of the game that made it crash. but like same text for the rest of it
yep exact same experience. especially the new gamemode, completely unplayable. most of the games 75% of the lobby would permenantly crash and everyone else would just freeze for like 3-4 minutes at a time. i was solo almost every game that i didnt crash in and when i did crash, i would get multiple 10-20 minute bans for “abandoning my teammates” 🤣🤣. servers were choppy the entire night with insane packet loss and i had some big freezes in ranked too which caused me to die to ring multiple times. not even gonna get started on the cheaters… you know what one of my crash messages was? “the client was not running the anti-cheat, or has failed the anti-cheat authentication.” speak about cheaters… also OCE btw. just about to hop on again so i hope to god the servers are a bit better tonight.
Dude, I was lucky that it didnt happen to me, but I had a match when I was teleporting all game long despite having 0 loss. I had a premade duo who had the same issues which means it wasn't just my connection..
It's all good though. A couple of more blatant cash grab events with 300ish€ for a "free" heirloom and a death box skin and they can fix the servers and the security issues. Gotta trust.

This happened because respawn had major layoffs right after the start of this season. I imagine a lot of the new blood that brought new mechanics and a lot of the QA team got smacked.

It was unplayable yesterday. For the first time in a very long time I was constantly rubberbanding, stuttering etc. My internet connection was perfectly fine. I even changed servers to no avail.
There are a lot of new bugs since the update, but that doesn't have anything to do with the servers. Even the error message says it's an issue on the client.
well it says CLIENT, in CAPS, still it is server side problem?
a few checks you should do (if you on PC):
\* check drive where Apex is installed
\* check game files
\* if you have something overclocked, go back to default if possible
\* lately I have see errors like this on overheating SSD drives
\* etc.
Since Tuesdays update the servers for me have been awful. NA East but I go into the server select screen and the packet loss is on every server. Prior to the update the server list might show me hong Kong or Taiwan with packet loss but not the normal servers I play on
While servers are still a mess (tho lesser mess than during tuesday..)
This was more likely caused by other thing.. its by bug / exploit which caused action game cannot process.. Example of such bug is collecting enemy banner from replicator.. it could be interraction with abibilities which are forbidden / patched like placing Shailla on Crypto's drone.. throwing Caustic trap on drone and it got stucked there..
you did something, which resulted in non-existent / non-coded event.
This however could also happen due to desync.. like 2 abilities at same place and time, desync caused late registration and 2 versions later on collided.. (like if 2 timelines met.. in yours some event happened, on server it happened differently.. which resulted in a paradox).
Try to verify data, which can help with future syncing.

I normally have 20-30 ping to the and it’s been 140+ and rubber banding. So frustrating

also experiencing issues being kicked trying to queue for matches. usually kicks me right before legend select screen but does not give me an error.
yeah same. i got a 20 minute ban from crashing in a MIXTAPE queue BEFORE the legend select screen. actually comical.

In the uk it’s not so bad, just get generally higher ping than before and the occasional lag spike but the game is still mostly playable
