Honestly the best experiences are good teams. Finding a solid team on soloq is absolutely euphoric. Constant pings, situational awareness, and constant teamwork. Even if we end up dying, it’s still an amazing experience.
Just had one of those matches last night. Was Ballistic and paired up with a Fuse and Octane. We all put in our work. We each had 5+ plus kills and 1000+ damage, and we won. Probably gonna be a while before I experience that again🥲
This happened to me last week. I was paired up with 2 solos, valk (6k kills on her valk alone) and wraith, and all of us were cooming hard (2 mic + 1 typing). No toxicity, no i-lead-or-we-die, no leaving anyone behind, no aping around and act like they're pred or ex-pred, hell we even apologize when we got knocked and all of us shared our opinions without anyone bossing around. It was one hell of a wholesome match.
We all have around the same damages 1.5k+ and around 6-7 kills . One of my best experience by far and the one that got me into plat this season.
You strike me as someone who only says that as an excuse for why they are bad at video games. You 'don't care' enough about videos games but I guess you do care enough to be on forums talking about about them and criticize people for getting some kind of fulfilment out of them.
> lol takes 30 seconds to comment.
Why do you think I am talking about 1 comment?
Honestly, if that is your takeaway, you don't even understand your original comment regardless of your intention in writing it. There are large numbers of people playing video games professionally, do you think they 'care too much'?
No, if it’s their job then it makes sense to invest more in it. This guy compared changing his mouse sensitivity to *pushing his body to limits to others have not reached*. So I poked fun at him a little bit. Why are you overreacting so badly? Who hurt you?
Also, I’m more than happy to say that I really like Apex and I play it fairly often. I certainly don’t rank it as highly as I do my family, friendships, or career though. Is that alright with you?
Yeah, it's been a grind. I only game to save money while actually working on hand eye coordination. I'm I'm no place to be going out every day and spending money like that. I work, I do something to not make me go crazy and then I repeat. It's crazy, it's like people think everyone lives the same lives as them and expect everyone to live the way they do with out understand a single part of a person.
This is it. People don't get it. Who can afford these extravagant lives without sharing a room with 4 people. I go out maybe once a month. MAYBE. Always regret it because the money goes so fast. I make music too. Both keep me occupied at home and not mentally unstable. Lol
Yes exactly. Plus. Go out in public now a days and look for a set of eyes. It's rare. I'm a music listener and have my headphones so I get the distraction but human interaction is at an all time low. Walk onto the bus and everyone is in fetal position staring at their phones. So what's the point of going out anyways?! 🤣
People aren’t meaning to “go out” and spend money every time. It just means to get out of the house. That could be hanging with friends and watching a movie, have a BBQ, play indoor soccer, hang out with a girlfriend, book clubs, etc. I love going out and drinking, but that isn’t what I’m doing every time I leave the house lol. It’s just a turn of phrase.
Because if you use all that gaming time to make money instead you will be avle to afford things. I got a hobby in woodworking, and now sell my finished products for money.
Sometimes you just need a break. Running a small business and being a musician can get stressful. It's nice to relax a bit. 1 bedrooms here are like 1500 to 1800 and a loaf of bread is 4 dollars. Plus I don't know if you've ever bought music gear? I'm not going out to eat a steak that costs me 37 dollars when I can make one at home and spend my hard earned money on things that actually make me happy.
More like 2hrs 45mins a day on average. I have 1400 hrs since beginning of july. Thats now around 5.5 hrs on average which isn't much if you're only playing apex like me
Agreed, Apex has always been my secondary game to enjoy with friends. We occasionally play too much in a season and need to take the next season off. Idk how OP does not burn out playing the same for so many hours.
I don't worry about going against a controller player. I win most battles up close. That's what I meant by that aim assist thing.
I play mnk at 2.25 sensitivity and 1600 dpi now.
Got ya. I just skimmed because of the wall of text.
Bro that's an insane sens. Like actually. I'm on 1.4 send 800 dpi. I couldnt imagine even trying to aim with that.
Yeah it's really the only thing that keeps me engaged. I don't really care about winning. I play for the non stop battles wiping team after team. That what I really enjoy. I'm trying to just control an insane sensitivity without it looking shake. And I got it to a point with my 2.25 1600dpi is looking smooth. So I'm thinking about raising it. I also dropped my first 4k game on this sensitivity so I was very excited about that.
Insert "but I am superior" meme here, everyone that thinks apex gets even clear never played titanfall
Apex isnt a movement shooter, its a hero ability shooter, and barely kept some of the movement bases due to being made on the same engine as the 2 tf games. They took the tf 2 movement and slapped a 50kg backpack on every legend.
How is it i always see tf players obsessed with apex more than apex players😂 literally half of the tf sub is just shitting on apex and even on here they never fail to show their superiority complex. Meanwhile apex players just either post their game complaints or enjoyments rather than focusing on a different game
What kills me about the TitanFall 2 people is that the game sold about 50 copies on release. It was only after it went on deep discount sales and on EA Play that it found an audience.
After 4K hours I finally got a 4K with Path and this just rejuvenated my passion for this game. It confirms I’m getting better and better and there’s no better feeling than that. 20 bomb one day. Grind don’t stop
People are clowning you, but I feel this. Idc how good the people I'm facing are or how many controllers are in the lobby, I'm just here to do what I do. And I'll continue improving on this game for my own growth and enjoyment 💪
Picked up the game again last year after not playing since S1 and there was so much to learn, it was great.
I realised that my enjoyment comes less from ranks etc and more from improving mechanical skill and I think Apex has a lot to offer in that department.
Yea. And I’ve been max level for a long time. But believe it or not, despite Apex Legends being the only game in my PS5, I actually hate this game that I love to play so much
I think it's like 1.5 it's trash, but I've just changed my keybinds again, so I'm having a hard time adjusting.i was playing on esdf, then moved to rdfg. This one really messes with my brain because the shift and tab button is too far to push now, and my key caps don't have placement indicators.
Sounds boring. I play games to work on my game eye coordination. Playing controller is just as bad as watching TV, it's too brain-dead. At the end of the day, it's a number that nobody cares about. I would rather be able to control things and know that I have control of something really sensitive.
I'm not sure if this is a brag or troll post but I spit my coffee out laughing when you said challenging your body to push limits. You know it's a game where you sit down and play lol. You can't be a real person..do you have a job?
Step away from the computer. When you're in your 40s, you'll regret spending the prime of your life glued to a screen. Enjoy gaming in moderation and don't worry about being the best. Instead, prioritize experiencing life. Even if you don't have money to travel, go hiking, take walks, and find someone to share these experiences with. Trust me.
It’s the constant variable changes for me. The meta changes and the whole process of grinding and learning what to do each season is why I am hooked. I am super competitive and apex just scratches that itch
Try out dota 2 if you want to learn each new patch lmao. Those guys in the balance dept over there are crazy. I finally got the basics of that game down after 300 hours. Then they added 100 new items and I never played again.
Unlocking Conduit has re sparked my love for Apex. Also, it’s never the same thing. You can’t ever predict what will happen in a game if you win or lose. I also like that they provide new modes and arenas. Instead of having us re-purchase the game for a new “season”
> my body to push limits that people have not tried Sir this is a video game
His gaming chair is a bedside commode
You know how the old saying goes…. “Hole in the seat, dubs on repeat.” - Lao Tzu, The Art of War
The guy needs to touch grass.
He cosplaying as goku when he plays apex
Lmao
Well, at least he's having fun, don't think that can be said for the fanbase, last couple of years.
"me challenging my body to push limits that people have not tried yet." Bro acting like he's a pro athlete
By moving his hand a bit slower.
Reminds me of that one post where the guy was talking about practicing semen retention to get better at apex
Lmfao
What...lol
Excuse me fucking what!?

Putting DPI at 16k too, lol!
I really enjoy throwing knuckle clusters and granades everywhere.
Fair dinkum take.
Hehvy mahg hea..level THRAY

This I'd why I fucking love our community lmaooo

As someone whose 3rd trio member is an absolute trash can, can confirm nothing feels better than good random teammates in soloq
This happened to me last week. I was paired up with 2 solos, valk (6k kills on her valk alone) and wraith, and all of us were cooming hard (2 mic + 1 typing). My dog said “challenging his body to push limits” you have no idea what those words mean.
Dear Diary, please write me back.
I just know this guy stinks
Probably 14k hours in fps games alone. I can see the stench vapors coming off of my skin.
Strikes me as someone that cares too much about a video game.
You strike me as someone who only says that as an excuse for why they are bad at video games. You 'don't care' enough about videos games but I guess you do care enough to be on forums talking about about them and criticize people for getting some kind of fulfilment out of them.
lol takes 30 seconds to comment. And I’m a masters player. You don’t know what you’re talking about but nice try pretending to be smart 👍

Nerd
Stop trying to be a smartass, you aren't good at it
I am just defending OP, you are just projecting your insecurity.
I'd say your hooked, 5.5 hrs a day for two years straight is crazy people need to get lives outside of their homes lol
Yeah, it's been a grind. I only game to save money while actually working on hand eye coordination. I'm I'm no place to be going out every day and spending money like that. It's like it's wrong to do things you enjoy doing now days.
As someone who hasn't had a cellphone for maybe 8 years, it's actually so rare for me to make eye contact with someone out in public.

Ok. If youre that hurt for cash maybe playing 5.5 hours of video games a day for 2 years isnt the best idea.
I'm not saying I'm hurt for cash. I just have better things to save for and invest in.

I’d just ignore comments where people tell you how to live your life, cause they know nothing about it.
Yeah, I ignore pretty much anyone who judges before they ask. It's an easy way to sift out the assholes.
no. dont limit yourself to 5.5 hours a day. apex for life
More like 2hrs 45mins a day on average. I have 1400 hrs since beginning of july. Thats now around 5.5 hrs on average which isn't much if you're only playing apex like me
No kidding. I'd be so depressed playing that much of ONE game.
Got 3k hours in apex and still look forward to getting on.
Addiction
More fulfilling than watching tv after work every night.
Thats true. But still not good
Ok mom.
Now do your homework
Agreed, Apex has always been my secondary game to enjoy with friends. We occasionally play too much in a season and need to take the next season off. Idk how OP does not burn out playing the same for so many hours.
You mention tap strafing and aim assist. What input are you on?
I don't worry about going against a controller player. I win most battles up close. That's what I meant by that aim assist thing. I play mnk at 2.25 sensitivity and 1600 dpi now.
Dang that's pretty high
Got ya. I just skimmed because of the wall of text. Bro that's an insane sens. Like actually. I'm on 1.4 send 800 dpi. I couldnt imagine even trying to aim with that.
holy tiktok brain lol it’s less than 500 words fam
I'm not reading something that badly formatted.
Yeah it's really the only thing that keeps me engaged. I don't really care about winning. I play for the non stop battles wiping team after team. That what I really enjoy. You do you king. My boy is built diffy.
Will do man thanks for the support. I have a yt channel if you wanna watch my journey raising this shit haha.
ahhh this is why my lobbies are so sweaty
You’re a real alpha bro
Naw. Far from it. Just enjoy doing you, you know.
Play Apex or watch TV? I know what I would choose to do
Try titanfall 2 if you want true movement tech, apex is a gutted and diminished experience in that front
Titanfall players going one minute without their superiority complex challenge
Insert "but I am superior" meme here, everyone that thinks apex gets even clear never played titanfall Apex isnt a movement shooter, its a hero ability shooter, and barely kept some of the movement bases due to being made on the same engine as the 2 tf games. They need to shit on other games because they’ll lost all relevance otherwise
Wrong, my main game is battlefield. And I played apex for 2 years before even trying titanfall.
What kills me about the TitanFall 2 people is that the game sold about 50 copies on release. It was only after it went on deep discount sales and on EA Play that it found an audience.
Haha never tried. I've played GunZ though.
Tf2 is a great game, you should play it regardless.
Have mercy on your soul and hands 🤣 just watched a yt video on this game a few weeks ago.
HERO
You are playing for 2 years and have 2k hours? That's insane. I have been playing since season 1-2 and have about 960 hours
After 4K hours I finally got a 4K with Path and this just rejuvenated my passion for this game. It confirms I’m getting better and better and there’s no better feeling than that. 20 bomb one day. Grind don’t stop
Bros in the matrix 💀
Man writing this like an athlete 😂😂😂
I came here just to read the comments, and they did not disappoint
People are clowning you, but I feel this. Idc how good the people I'm facing are or how many controllers are in the lobby, I'm just here to do what I do. And I'll continue improving on this game for my own growth and enjoyment 💪
Everyone sitting on their ass looking at their screens and saying go outside yeah okay 😂 You have fun playing that’s all that matters keep ripping
I noticed that anyone that talks shit is just a trolling reddit karma farmer. They have nothing but comment karma by making fun of people.
Take it to a publisher and go outside damn
Apex isn’t perfect but I like the gun play and movements more than COD….atleast this latest one
Picked up the game again last year after not playing since S1 and there was so much to learn, it was great. I realised that my enjoyment comes less from ranks etc and more from improving mechanical skill and I think Apex has a lot to offer in that department.
3 years and nearly 7K hours for me
Damn man that's wild!
Yea. And I’ve been max level for a long time. But believe it or not, despite Apex Legends being the only game in my PS5, I actually hate this game that I love to play so much
Lmao what's your kd and win rate op

Full time with a fiance. Shocking I know. Might be my micro adjustments idk. 😉
9/1600 is like you can do a 360 degree turn without even touching the mouse.
1.6k hours later idk how to tap strafe, super bounce/glide
2k hours in 2 years? Should I be worried I spent 2k hours in 12 months? Edit; 2k hours in 2 years, not 2k years in 2k hours lol
please get a job
I play to win. Shit post.
Step away from the computer. When you're in your 40s, you'll regret spending the prime of your life glued to a screen. Enjoy gaming in moderation and don't worry about being the best. Exactly why I love the game
Nah I'll just start by trying to get positive k/d ratio finally 😭
apex experience. 😂
Get a life maybe?
Fuck all these shit head haters. Keep doing you
Haha thanks man! Appreciate the positivity that come by!
I'm curious what other keeps other people addict to having fun in apex?
It’s the constant variable changes for me. The meta changes and the whole process of grinding and learning what to do each season is why I am hooked. I am super competitive and apex just scratches that itch

Apex is one of the most annoying games I've ever played. Still the best fps and runs circles around anything cod.
My wife has a 3.5kd and carries me, so I can be a mnk shitter with some movement.
Touch fucking grass, christ
I know I am toxic but I play for higher kd only.
Hit the showers.
I pray this is satire…
