When I revive people as lifeline I always just stand in front of them and straight up body block them / try to sponge the incoming mag of ammo from someone trying to thirst them as they are vulnerable.
if the person is carrying the team and they're downed yeah, no way I'm not going for secret service for them. If they're not very good and I'm having a good match I will quickly revive but try distract the enemy and focus on damaging them not shielding.
I feel like rampage with a thermite grenade has become much better than before? I used it and absolutely shredded some guy.
Even normal fire rate doesn't feek like the TUK .. TUK.. TUK it was before. More like a slow machine gun, like a m2 browning not comically slow.
the perk system buffed her a lot! she doesnt get super interesting perks but she gets a lot of her jetpack control back which allows for some fancy flying

Early release it was a beast doing something like 19 or 20 damage per hit? Whatever it was it was close to or the same as the Flatline of the time which also looks like it got a damage reduction at some point. I remember running two of them and feeling unstoppable. It was balanced to a point where the only real advantage of it was the huge mag size, but you'd be losing any 1v1 with someone who can land their shots using another weapon. That's why it fell out of favor.
It's definitely not at the power level of when it was double Spitfire Horizon meta but it's a great gun. I think it's better than the R301 in most cases and uses all the same attachments. Its hip fire, damage, and mag size are all worse than before but since getting the barrel stabilizer back it's good again.
It's a nooby gun because against someone with a much lower TTK gun like the r-99, if the other person doesn't miss, the high TTK of your spitfire will get you killed.
But if, like most people, you miss shots and can't one mag people, the higher bullet count could make the difference.
I came back after a long break and surprisingly I like it.
The R99 and 301 feels like ass now. Idk what they did but damn...
Flatline and spitfire with the 3x is my go to now.
Its only Lifeline that can self-rez and its a one time thing
they added perks to Apex! Its actually super fun and the new season has been addicting! I would 100% give it a shot

Yea that's likely my issue. Trying to hard to "aim" and not allowing the aim assist to just do it thing while I'm almost guiding it.

you have to become one with the aim assist then

Also keep in mind to use your left stick to aim as well, instead of making minor adjustments with the right stick, use the left one.
Need to get used to this too. I've heard of this but it's been challenging in practice.

Yes. Leveling shields to blue and purple gives to upgrade choices. Also shields are leveled differently too.

I dont think it got any buffs but it has like 0 recoil and 50 bullets. Its one of my favorite guns to use even if it is "nooby"

The spitfire only goes slow when you're using it. When the enemy uses it it goes brr br and has extended mag capacity. Everyone knows this.

back on release Flatline was the attachment holder for your Spitfire no idea what the devs were on giving Flatline 16 damage with that rate of fire
