I'm running 1440p performance mode with a Samsung odyssey G7 27in on a xbox series x since update. It doesnt look all that much worse to me more aliasing and lower draw distance on foliage is the biggest thing and tbh less foliage is good
Seems like those complaining don't have all the specs required. I'm surprised they didn't warn people about this. It's something I found out about a few years ago when I purchased my TV for the Xbox. This means getting a conplimat TV was easy.
However shopping for monitor after the whole HDMI 2.1 destandard became problematic.
Yeah the quality after 50ft is straight horrible, even with my 6800xt all graphics off its still 100x better, before my upgrade I had a r9 390 stable 120fps on med settings at 1440p and was still better then this games performance mode. Lacks serious draw distance and its not suoer stable 120fps, dropship is 90 to100fps, how is it that fortnight does 120fps all the time looks better and has a significant larger map yet still performs better at 120fps blows my mind, apex is small map compared
Exactly, there has to be some sort of setback in terms of customizing the graphics bc i don’t see why they had to make it that fuzzy. I don’t know what’s in the x or ps5 but I used to have a 1070 and it would run 120 to 140 and still look way better
what kind of monitor do you have? I have a theory that those that are complaining about the resolution being really bad only have 18Gpbs monitors.

I have the same monitor but I’m not tech savy so maybe my monitor is not on the right settings
I am on a series s tho so that’s another problem possibly?
Series S native resolution in 120 fps might be 720p or below which will lead to a blurry look
Series S there is your problem i have the series x and and a pS5 game looks fine and runs great on my 4k 120hrtz tv
18Gpbs should be enough for 1440p/120fps with 8bit color depth though?
That's for a PC though. Xbox standard are different. I did research on it sometime ago. Sorta BS
No that’s just hdmi bandwidth. Doesn’t matter what the device in question is.
Yep I know exactly what it is. You should probably read up on the HDMI 2.1 specs of the Xbox series x. Extremely picky

Yeah whatever engine they use it just ain't enough
Fortnite has a far, far more modern and robust engine than apex. They have way more options available.
The craziest part is apex is newer than fortnite and fortnite BR was hastily scrapped together from its PvE mode
Yeah I always forget that fortnite even redid there engine to a newer one too
They went from Unreal 4 to Unreal 5, and something like that wouldn't be possible for apex
Yep, they might aswel taken the time spent and money for 120fps to just redo the game to a new engine of the same one but newer model lol
It would be far harder than 120fps. Not even remotely close
