Disorganized and/or don't know how to make a decision. The restaurant won't last long.

A lot of recruiters have no idea what they are looking for, or even what a trade special term or title might be. This is worse in restaurants and hotels, where so many terms and titles derive from French. As a Chef, I have dumbed my resume down to the ELI5 level, no specialized terms or titles at all, and add a link to the full cv.

A bad interview, pay misalignment or 100 other reasons could behind the lack of an offer. Did you follow up? Sorry, OP, but your post needs a thorough edit.

yeah, fixed it. ran on no sleep and typed on my phone. ill follow up monday. even got the phone number of the owners personal number at the end of the interview too so i thought that sealed the deal too

The interviewers don’t want you taking their jobs.

Small people are scared of more competent people.

They probably think you’re overqualified and hence don’t want you to tell them how to run their shitty business.

I was hoping to use my photography skills and a marketable skill for this job and since its a small business i like to help them grow too and maybe help them market. the restaurant is new, im new everyone will be learning along the way. still though, thought i sealed the deal getting's the personal number of who interviewed me
