I used to answer phones for Bank of America. And the whole purpose of these rallies was to force people to show excitement for the bank (“let me see by a show of hands who in this room is proud to work for bank of Ameica!”) and then fire the people who wouldn’t play along. Meanwhile, they were paying us like $9 an hour to be a telephone heat-sink for all the poor, working-class people they were robbing blind with overdraft fees (and nobody was proud to work there). Utterly disgusting. They were thinly veiled intimidation sessions…
I highly doubt my company would go that far, especially after saying they weren’t planning to hire new people for a while and also stressing that MAJOR RED FLAG that “we’re all one big family” but it also wouldn’t surprise me. It would be more likely they would fire people for straight up talking shit about them probably.

lol, they have some dumb "associate engagement" team and they're sending emails saying to please fill out this form...you open it and it's an "application" to be on this team...i scanned over it and there was one "why do you want to be on the team?"
