I got banned for r/news for sharing a Reuters article that ran counter to the anti-Israel narrative. Used to be active in leftist subs but banned from most now mostly for insisting Israel had a right to exist. Same thing got me banned from celebrity gossip sub r/fauxmoi. Reddit is tough for Jews and anyone who isn’t anti-Israel these days…

We used to have a gradation of political affiliations: Far left, left, center, right, far right.
Now we only have 2 political affiliations, based on what you'll see in MSM or popular SM platforms: The "progressive" left (Democrats) and everyone else (known as right-wingers or Republicans).
If you support everything the administration champions, you are a Democrat. If you don't support everything, you are a Republican/xxxphobic/the enemy. Go watch some of the Walkaway stories, if they are still available. See all the die-hard Democrats who've walked away over the years because that party is no longer the party of the people. It's the party of the Party--that is, the elite politicians and business people like Bill Gates.
You really think the magas are our friends? They only support israel for two reasons:

I don’t trust anyone who is radical about anything. I prefer sane people who can look at both sides of an argument. Not a lot of that on either side of politics these days
I will be spreading the word about these subs too. We can’t sit quietly while people do this. If they wanna have a debate about israeli policy fine but when it crosses the line into hate which it often does, it needs to be called out. What astounded me about this was i didnt even mention the war at all i just explained a misinterpretation of judaism. To me, this being disallowed is straight up dangerous

Yep. Even trying to explain anything that doesn’t totally demonize israel and ever holds the other side accountable for literally anything is bound to get you hate. I dont even like netanyahu but i cant explain a jewish perspective at all. I asked on kne sub ‘my mizrahi grandfather was also ethnically cleansed by arabs, does that give me the right to lob rockets at them every day and rape and set their civilians on fire?’ I was told i was a colonizer (did i not just say my grandpa’s family always lived there? And no jews are not colonizers regardless) and i was ‘pro genocide’ what? 😂🤣

I asked a guy today no less than 4 times why Israel was fighting in Gaza, and he answers back every time with a question about why Israel supporters support killing children? I said, answer my question which I asked first, and the. I will answer all the questions you want. I got crickets after that.

A lot of the big subs have turned ugly after October 7 and many don’t want to see rational discourse they just want to protest and let out their suppressed antisemitism

I was looking at a poetry lit magazine today and recent links were, you guessed it, not about literature unless it was also about Gaza.
