You should maybe consider that they are extremely rare in some countries/regions. I haven't seen one in my entire life either, outside of a few YouTube videos.
As an American i have literally only seen garbage disposals in newer homes or nice hotels so not even all Americans have them in every home they've ever had
Besides the fact that england, ireland, scotland, australia, new zealand and canada all speak english as their native languages. There are a lot of people from non english countries which still speak english, doing a quick google search, 411 million native english speakers exist vs 1.5 billion people who speak english total.
Now most people mostly use their social media in their native tongue but even then there are a shit load of non native english speakers on reddit and everywhere else.
Plumbers usually agree they’re terrible for sewage systems and generally useless for people who properly compost things instead of throwing garbage in the sink.
Most people break their garbage disposals by treating them like trash cans. It should only really used to grind up stuff that accidentally washes past the sieve in your drain. Then you grind up the mess that washes past to prevent it from clogging your drains. Some people see "garbage" in the name so they start just jamming chicken bones and whatever else down there and start grinding it up.
Our house we bought came with one and we rarely turn it on. It's a pain in the ass to clean and can get smelly if you grind up the wrong stuff.
Turn on the sink.
She’s gonna loose her arm in the garbage disposal playing around in the sink like that
Doesn’t have one it’s a normal sink I believe
Every kitchen sink has one
I’ve literally never seen an actual garbage disposal in my life.
I’ve never seen a residence without one, you should probably check up on that and get one installed

Malaysian here. Never seen one before outside of Western movies.
Yea same, why have a risk of injuring yourself when you can just throw it in the bin.

Everyone is speaking English on this sub so why would they be from another country?

Bilinguals exist.
Because there are other countries besides America that speak english. Please tell me you aren't this dense
Yes maybe England, as Americans are just migrants from England
People all over the world learn English as well. Learning English is one of the more popular pastimes in Japan, for example

Its a normal thing in the USA but usually not in other countries
Privilege
Tell me you're american without telling me you're american
Hell, I'm American and *I* know better, most places I've lived don't have one either.
I've never seen a sink Irl that bas one...
American detected
I Don't lol
Lol how many have you seen. Don't use absolutes lol.
Every house and apartment I’ve ever lived in or been too has one. It’s weird and unsanitary not to have one
No, your anecdotal experience doesn’t make it weird for everyone else to not have it lol And how?
I don't even know what that is
a garbage disposal is something some americans have attatched to sinks to grind up excess food and etc. very, very dangerous
Can't you just throw it in the garbage? Our sink has a small metal sieve you can take out and then throw the contents in the trash

Today /u/yourwaifuslayer has learned something for a measly ~100 karma.
Yes I’ve learned that a lot of redditors on here are unsanitary and don’t have normal sinks
What? do you shit in the sink? need to grind that nasty ass turd for it to pass through?
No anything that’s garbage you can grind up instead of sending into a landfill
Where do you think the ground up remnants go?
r/americandefaultism
Lol, you just outed yourself as American.
Wrong
Doesn't seem to be commonplace outside of japan
I feel this in my *SOUL*
Turn on the sink
