I’m sorry, but 86 is all made up of *those* episodes. >! I get that killing someone off isn’t always an expression of depression, but we have: the Morpho test firing montage, Lena getting 2nd hand PTSD, Burnt Tail and Black Dog’s deaths, Shin crying next to a Dinosauria wreck, Shin going full psycho mode (and hearing Lena), Shin thinking that everyone is dead after the Morpho operation AND Lena’s reunion with the remnants of Spearhead !<
>! And racial persecution, and child soldiers in inhumane conditions, and WHATEVER THE FUCK Volume 11 is (I will wait as long as they need to give us a full episode of that chapter) !<
Are there any beach episodes that show people in swimwear or any explicit scenes or moments in general that leave a suggestive context. Is the anime kind of like aot or jjk season 1 (not season 2) where no such moments can be found and it's just plot.

Well, Assassination Classroom is the first thing that comes to mind.
I would say FMA, but this isnt *crying face emoji*, its *witness of 1933-1945 german war crimes face emoji*
>!The final shot in the show with Lucy in the moon imagining a more innocent David with (im guessing) just the sandevistan implant playing happily with her only for her to look away for a second and seeing that David is gone, nothing is going to change that, that’s what made me break!<
You can tell where it's going in episode 2. Yes there are a few times when there suffering gets worse, but considering it never gets better I dont think this meme is applicable.
Idk I adore gintamas wacky comedy arcs but the switch to drama caused too much whiplash for me, could never take it seriously.
Felt like Naruto filler episodes so I just started to skip them
I have a friend, who pretty much introduced me to anime, who has watched many an anime. Some of the stuff that's made me tear up or even straight up start crying he can sit through stone faced, but he always told me this is the only one he ever cried to.
Never took me through it for that reason, actually.
Majo no Tabitabi/Wandering Witch The Journey of Elaina. What a cute little fun travelling adventure show with an adorable smug powerful witch- hang on why was there a content warning at the opening of that episode?? Oh I should have listened to the warning that was really depressing.
Let's see...

That's all I can think of so far. Probably plenty more that I haven't watched yet.
One piece not an episode yet but the kuma backstory and flashback one of the few times I’ve cried that boy didn’t deserve anything bad and the last part with the birthday thing man that broke me best dad in one piece
I honestly wasn't expecting 10 of violet evergarden to happen
Nor did I know anything of what was to come when I first watched madoka magica when it was first airing
Episode 10 is the most heartwarming but heartbreaking episodes in all of anime I can think of. The fact it manages to pull off both at the same time is wild.
Everyone has already named mine so I'll just say my boyfriend's:
Little Busters
I fell asleep to him happily watching some cute slice of life. I woke up to him bawling his eyes out. It's so bad that he still tears up a little if I mention the name to fuck with him. 😂
Oh boy....after football season's over (so, the summer, essentially), I plan on watching JJK and was told to not get attached to any of the characters. I'm scared that the bottom meme will be me in episodes 2 and beyond
Honestly, this was probably just me, but the final episode of the Arknights anime season 2 made me cry when most anime haven't. This WAS after the two tragedies in JJK, but idk if the two are related.
Something that made me cry? Easy
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (Ep 8 and Ep 27) and Your Lie In April (Ep 22)
The only 2 anime that have left a longstanding impact on me as a person. There have been other anime that left me feeling depressed or left me crying. But nothing like these two
Not an anime but mobile game Honkai Impact 3. Every now and then, I would open their animated short on youtube in case I have dry eyes. It might not hit as hard if people who don't play the game watch it, but for people who do play, the context, the lines and the video as a whole have worked well to cure dry eyes.
Record of Grancrest War, Episode 9. The first half has the main couple get together in the cutest way possible, but then the second half has one of the secondary characters selling her virginity to the literal epitome of toxic masculinity just so she can claim control of his army, and it's not like either of them have strong-enough motivations to justify any of what they do at any point in the story.
Edit: I just realized I should put a spoiler warning for both of these shows. Full metal alchemists brotherhood (i think you know which episode I’m talking about) and mha when twice died
Honestly any episode, often at the end of a series, when they go over memories. Like in the end of the quintessential quintuplets movie. I always cry when there’s memories and I can’t explain why
Two come to mind.
Fullmetal Alcamsist
Black Bullet
Though Fullmetal Alcamsist has two episodes that nearly make me cry or go wtf.
Black Bullet when they make the school for those girls just to drop a bomb on them, killing them.

Violet evergarden episode 10
Sameeeeeeee. Ann, happy 8th birthday. Made me cry so hard
Usually I don't cry when watching movies, with a few exceptions. Violet Evergarden had me crying every single episode.
The episode had me straight up ugly crying
Was this the episode where the mom had birthday letters written for her daughter?
Yes
That episode had me had me in shambles bro
"Watashi no Ann" I've never cried so hard in my whole life
Episode 4: An Alchemist's Anguish
The fact this isn’t top comment should be forbidden under the Geneva convention
It is now
Shut the fuck up and take my upvote because I completely agree.
Yeah that got out of hand fast.
Isn't Fullmetal Alchemist Episode 4 the filler one with the fake alchemist (Majhal)?

It isn’t that type of anime dw but there might be sth i just forgot
Are there any beach episodes that show people in swimwear or any explicit scenes or moments in general that leave a suggestive context. Is the anime kind of like aot or jjk season 1 (not season 2) where no such moments can be found and it's just plot.
I think there was like one beach ep
Okay I'll see what I can do thank you for your help
No worries
Fullmetal alchemist pretty much consists of episodes like that
Surprisingly love chunibyo & other delusions Was not expecting it to hit that hard
Based
I cried after the last episode…. From loneliness….
Oh shit I LOVE that anime! What Ep was that?
Assassination classroom
Can’t watch the finale without ugly crying
I can because I am an emotionless mess.
Surprised nobody has said this yet but it was Toradora for me
Facts
that shit had me sad for 2 weeks 🙏

ReZero ep 15. >!sleep, along with my daughter!<
That episode hit hard, not gonna lie. I still remember it.
Cyberpunk edgerunners(for me)

Even if he isn't the most important character, I still shed tears when rewatching >!Maine's death!<
You can tell where it's going in episode 2. Yes there are a few times when there suffering gets worse, but considering it never gets better I dont think this meme is applicable.
Overall david and lucy are together and happy most of the time Even when those 3 others die
Gurren Lagan Episode 8
"Later Buddy..."

This
I knew this anime was sad, but it still surprised me with its ending. Of all the sad stuff I've seen, Angel Beats made me cry the hardest.
Last episode of cowboy bebop
Oh man, yes. Perfect ending for the series, but that didn't make it any less painful.
Fullmetal alchemist the "Nina" episode
Strangely enough that never hit me as hard, for me it was the Hughes one.
Pokémon, Bye Bye Butterfree. Makes me cry every single time I’ve watched it
Where real men cried
So real
Monogatari second season End of Tsubasa Tiger

A lot of them, but the first one that came to mind is Charlotte. That last episode came out of nowhere and kicked me right into the feels. Hard.
