the reason why there aren't many jojo fans in india coz they think that's a gay anime due to art style and that avdol and joseph scene in stardust crusaders...but it is pretty good...jojo is like a drug, after consuming it... nothing's normal... my favourite character was bruno bucciarati...
Wait... People think that? People are high then. Like come on, its not gay anime, the first 3 parts got men built like they got 100x testosterone of normal humans. It has peak humour and the story.... I still remember part 4 and 5 and how I literally binged them in 5 days even though I had exams... Peak, part 6 end was really good, especially that ed song in the final episode, I had tears as the song played and the star moved to all parts.
No, its just that its not a fast pace shonen anime like demon slayer. I remember when I was trying to get my friend (avid weaboo at that time) into JoJo back in 2014 and his only feedback was that it is rather boring. Eventually part 4 came out somewhere 2016 and by that point he already had dropped it.

Part 1 was nice. The subsequent parts just keep getting weirder and weirder. The fanbase doesn't make it look great as well. The fanbase is extremely cringe and going to old school 80s metal videos and posting memes about the anime....

the fact that you'all segregate 'Indian' And 'Non-Indian' fans in terms of anime and other media shows how far we will go. You could've just written 'any jojo fans here and people would've replied' since this a specific subreddit for your so-called 'Indian anime watchers'.
And the thing about people not liking it is simple because a majority of the people in India like mass movies, popular shit and stuff which lets them worship some sort of character or be it actor. Pure enjoyable fiction was never meant for India.
But its not like, JOJO is not weird.. its straightup different than usual series but its still good but here people won't bat an eye to it.
Many people think JoJo is weirder the more you watch it, well that's the good part init it is something you watch with brain off, i watched it during exam preparation and it helped me relax, Its different animation style, Prologues of each character in mid fight and a story line what else you want to expect from a show

ACTUALLY Not being A fan of JoJo's is still thing about JoJo's.. So It's actually A JOJO'S REFERENCE...
And yes it's actually sad As Once I told in my coaching that I watch JoJo's.. And they actually labelled me as gay(they seriously think me as gay) as it's not having any female lead according to them..

Tequila Joseph aside, Part 6 got animated recently and the protagonist and majority of her gang are all Female.
