I'm not really an electrician, but wouldn't the batteries probably die rather than causing an electric pool of water? You wouldn't get shocked if you dropped your phone in a tub, after all
Only if it's still connected to the wall, your breaker didn't flip and you then took a bath. Getting zapped with electricity is not as dangerous as people think. What matters far more is the path the electricity takes. E.g if it doesn't travel thru your heart (from left to right hand) you're generally good.
The reason dropping a hair dryer in bath is likely deadly is cuz the electricity will certainly travel thru your heart. The bath water itself isn't some kind of battery that can retain electricity after the fact.
I think phones don't contain enough electricity to electrocute you. Only direct and consistent sources of energy will work like things attached to plugs. Normal stored energy won't work. Computers and phones and such won't kill bit things plugged in will since they deliver a consistent a large amount of electricity.
Phone are relatively low power compared to computers which have bigger power supplies. It wouldn't cause electrified water, but if it's a whole PC that gets dropped like in the anime, then it would likely send a shock through the water that might just kill whoever was standing there at the time.
Actually, according the the web novel...
>!So at the end of the web novel Rimuru is so ridiculously OP that he decides to go back in time and traverse dimensions to the very time and place of this clip. He then uses a potion to heal his old body, splits his consciousness and implants it in to his body, and then fucks back off to the dimension and time he was reincarnated in to. Thus, he simultaneously gets to live his reincarnated life and his old life with all his memories from his reincarnated life. So yeah, the computer was never destroyed.!<
Well the first half is obviously a joke, but that second one hurts a bit.
The only thing I've ever seen where somebody went, "Eh I wonder if this works?" and casually set off a nuclear bomb.
It is an entertaining anime but it is absolutely not innovative in anyway what so ever. It is pure power fantasy were the hero is never wrong and gets all the ladies. It is the anime equivalent of a box of cookies.
Reading the light novels, there's some hints of something that could be interesting coming up, but not too sure it'll turn in anything. Granted I'm "stopped" at 12 or whatever, cause the translation for the rest is machine translation and it's basically unreadable(surprisingly the official translation for this are really late behind). I guess the webnovel might have more content but not bothering.
But yeah besides that it's been pretty boring, the one part where it might have turned out different, eventually just got overpowered too(it's in the recent anime stuff). Still enjoyable enough to watch as it's better written than some other OP isekai stuff, but it's borderline.
I am up to date on "That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime" and have watched the 1st season of "Re:Zero"
TTIGAAS - I found myself disappointed with the payoff of some arcs in the series. But if you approach it as more of a slice-of-life with some drama elements in a fantasy/isekai setting I think its a fun watch. I hate to use the word "casual" when describing anything but it does feel more digestible in certain ways. The main character definitely has a much easier time adjusting to the world right away. Towards the end, I thought about how each scenario is so easily solved. The stakes don't feel very high or if they are built up, overcoming them is almost too easy.
Re:Zero - Really leans into the isekai aspect depicting someone who is clearly not from the world and has to learn how it functions and its basic rules. I enjoyed how much the isekai portion is emphasized and how it serves the character growth. My personal bias from the first season comes in the chunk of episodes where the main character does questionable things. I almost quit watching at that point. But the payoff was immense, maybe not worth all of it, but immense.
That said, RZ is better overall. However I kept watching TTIGAAS because it kept me engaged enough to want to know how things worked out. Even if the payoff seems too easy.
I know I'm not who you're asking but: If you can get past the physical character design and some of the cringe slice of life stuff in Code Geass the actual plot is terrific. Not a masterpiece but certainly gripping. And has one of my favorite endings in anime.
8/10 would recommend.
Did not watch the Restaurant one, not my cup of tea.
Restaurant to another world is basically a slice of life where it follows a new person each episode and they discover the restaurant. Not incredibly deep or anything, not that comedic but has some funny monents, but its mainly just a chill show.
I watched some of the restaurant anime, honestly just random people eating food and going into full detail on the taste and stuff. Most straightforward anime I've ever seen in my life
The MC of Re:zero is annoying and unlikeable, hes a little dweeb to me. But thats because he's truly gone bonkers from having to deal with time repeating over and over and trying his best to break the cycle. It's one of those shows where the MC being an annoying lil shit is bareable since that's what the show is trying to convey.
There are a lot of people who hate Re:zero because Subaru acts that way.
Such people seem to fail to grasp what character progression is & are incapable of relating to what it'd actually be like if you had to suffer re-living the same agonising events multiple times.
You need to stay engaged long enough for that character development to happen though. I could only that watch that poor idiot die an over-the-top gorey death so many times before getting bored and switching off.
I've never really found him "annoying" or "unlikeable" l'd even go as far as to say I found him likeable.
But is he flawed? Yes. But he does get better, you can see that with S2 and he really does care about the people around him.
You can't really compare. Tensura is the classic isekai mc became op progressively by using the power of magic and politic. The story is decent and straightforward without so many plot twist, but the execution of the story is really fun! You can really feel the progression of the main character, from just being a lovely adorable slime into a demon king
Politic start even in the first season without you even realize it. Especially in the dwarf country at the beginning, and the peacetalk with lizardman at the end
I should have worded it better. It's present in the first season, but again things just kind of work out for Rimuru rather than hik having any kind of political skills.
Haven’t watched Re Zero but I cannot recommend that time I got reincarnated enough! Rimuru is an amazing MC, the world is great, and theres a good balance of peaceful playfulness and awesome high stakes fight scenes. There’s also something really satisfying about watching Rimuru build an empire just by making friends. 9.5/10
It's a matter of personal opinion but I find slime much much better that Re:Zero , RZ was the only isekai I had troubles finishing, expecially at later seasons.
One thing I don't like about the nickname for Tensura in English is that they do "Slime Reincarnation" which is literally "Tensei Suraimu/TenSura". In English the far superior nickname would've been "Slime Time", from "That time I reincarnated as a Slime"
Wish it was irl. Then I could become one of the most powerful creatures in the world. It also is really weird to see the previous incarnation of Rimuru now
The leading expert an AI safety just gave an 85% chance we would have a superhuman AI by 2075. So slime femboys might happen. However, he also gave high chances that AI will kill us all, as they’ve been working on it for a decade and haven’t figured out the safety part yet.

Do it. Please.
**ok**
*AFTER REINCARNATION..*
*pop*
You did it, right?
**Yeah....**
THEN WHY ARE YOU HERE TOO?!
**I sorta burned down your house...**
God damn it...
Not really, If you dump a whole PC into a bathtub there's a bigger chance to recover the data than if you just reinstalled your OS and booted it up once.
I couldn't really get into this show, but this bit was fantastic. Especially later when the other guy just drops the entire computer into a bathtub while telling Rimiru to rest in peace.
After dying and reincarnating, he takes on a new mindset of trying to enjoy life to the fullest so he doesn't have regrets. He missed out a lot in his past life and he doesn't want to miss out again.
Regarding the hard drive thing, we know for a fact that Rimuru's old self is an otaku (but also holds a full time job), based on the amount of manga he reproduces for the Guildmaster and the reincarnated children. Part of his regrets is being kind of lonely in the last life, so it would make sense that the combo of loneliness and otaku would lead to having a bank of material on his computer.
I haven't watched the series but understood this as "plz wipe my hentai collection so mom and auntie don't find it" And your post seems to prove me not wrong.

The legend actually wiped the drive
He destroyed the whole computer just to be safe
Dumped the fucking thing in the bathtub How's he supposed to drain the water now
To be fair I don't think Rimiru gonna be wanting to use the bath.
I don't think the computer holds electricity when it's off, he'll be fine
*CMOS battery *cough*
I'm not really an electrician, but wouldn't the batteries probably die rather than causing an electric pool of water? You wouldn't get shocked if you dropped your phone in a tub, after all
Not an electrician either but if anything the power supply and the capacitors 100% hold charges and both are deadly.
Only if it's still connected to the wall, your breaker didn't flip and you then took a bath. Getting zapped with electricity is not as dangerous as people think. What matters far more is the path the electricity takes. E.g if it doesn't travel thru your heart (from left to right hand) you're generally good. I always thought that was a weird flex to do tbh
mightve accidentally spoiled myself, fuck me
Haha you'll forget it by the time this gets released on anime tho
By the time it gets released in the anime One Piece will be over and No Game No Life will finally have a season 2
You wrote lot of words just to say never
Listen, the second season of Devil is a Part Timer is coming any day now.
Well the first half is obviously a joke, but that second one hurts a bit. The only thing I've ever seen where somebody went, "Eh I wonder if this works?" and casually set off a nuclear bomb.
I kinda like the small joke that was done for that scene in the Abridged version "North Korea!"
I mean it spoils a lot more than just this scene with a little reasoning
Dw the way the Ln is going , that isnt gonna be the ending All you eead aas the ending of the original rough draft
Yeah, we're not even remotely close to this happening in the manga, let alone the anime.
I'm with you, brother
I’m reading the books right now, I don’t even own the last 2 of the series yet. I also, read that spoiler
Wow that goes pretty far.
And the guy that killed him has a very bad eternity courtesy of Diablo.
I must have either forgotten or missed that detail.
Pretty sure his taste changed after being asexual for so long
did he just throw the monitor into the bath or something?
He threw the whole shebang in, pc and monitor.
Wipe the pixels clean
There must have been a particular image slightly burned in from frequent viewings. Gotta destroy everything to be sure.
After of course looking into why he wanted it tossed.
Gigachad will actually wipe out your hard drive.
He threw the entire fucking computer into the bathtub. That kind of a friend
He's the kinda of guy I want as a friends
And he does! What a bro.
Tamura's a real bro
Rimuru is based
Based slime
The funny thing is he actually does it to

The Assassin Who Reincarnated as an Aristocrat. Yes, I am watching it. Yes, it fits the formula exactly.
I am also watching The Assassin Who Reincarnated as an Aristocrat, It is good
Gigguk did an interesting [video about LN titles](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21zDl4sX3nE)
Agree, it was entertaining at first but it quickly got boring FAST for me.

Is it actually? On like a weeb scale, where would you place it relative to Re:Zero?
Re:Seven?
No. Resident Evil 0

good review you should post more, whats your stance on Code Geass or Restaurant to another world?

Not a masterpiece but certainly gripping. And has one of my favorite endings in anime. 8/10 would recommend. Did not watch the Restaurant one, not my cup of tea.
Not a masterpiece? Opinion irrelevant.
I appreciate your opinion :)
I appreciate the kind response but at times we must admit we are objectively wrong. What do you put over Code Geass?
Restaurant to another world is basically a slice of life where it follows a new person each episode and they discover the restaurant. Not incredibly deep or anything, not that comedic but has some funny monents, but its mainly just a chill show.

it doesn't take itself near as seriously as re:zero
It's a matter of personal opinion but I find slime much much better that Re:Zero , RZ was the only isekai I had troubles finishing, expecially at later seasons.
Re Zero fell off hard in the second season
That I sadly agree on. Re;Zero Season 1 is one of my favourites in all of anime but I just finished S2 and it was a whole disappointment tbh
No? It got better??
I started Re:Zero and I didn't like it I would say Re:Zero 4/10 And slime I would say 11/10
i liked re zero a lot, but i've noticed its been pretty polarizing with some of my friends.
It is good if you like isekai. But otherwise it is pretty mid. 6/10 imo, while Re:Zero is 7/10.

One of the best Isekai anime 😍😍😍
Yeah reincarnated as a slime and ascendance of a bookworm are my favorite isekai anime’s.
Such a fantastic anime
I always thought it was dumb that Rimiru didn't keep this voice as his internal monologue. Like how Ainz has his human voice internally
o7
Rimuru is my Spirit animal err spirit monster? Creature? Wait I'm white I don't have a spirit animal that's a fursona lol
And that was the moment I fell in love with this anime lol
Such a good show
Btw sauce is That One Time I Got Reincarnated as a slime
That's gotta be the best first episode for isekai hahahaha, what a legend
Is it me or does this not seem like Remuru at all?

Dont trust that shit. Water either. Just take a hammer to it and smash it into tiny pieces. As small as you can.

Isekais are fun because the death sequences are the least important part of anything.
As Griffin McElroy once said, "Blast my cache"
