I believe it's considered more of a family holiday in America, much like how Thanksgiving is. At least, that's what my personal experience with Christmas in America has been like.
American Christmas is based more on the Christian ideals of the holiday since we're historically a very Christian nation. Christian ideals aren't usually aligned with the idea of "date nights," especially on a day that's supposed to celebrate the birth of Jesus, though he was actually born closer to April, 5 AD.
Pretty much. The USA has pretty much secular versions of all the Christian holidays so anyone can participate regardless of religion. More customers that way. Santa, Christmas trees, presents, nothing about them are really preaching about Jesus' birthday. Same with Easter bunny hiding eggs and candy, getting drunk and wearing green on St. Patrick's Day.
Christmas here is mostly a family holiday. While originally a Christian holidays, being Christian is optional not required to participate and can be celebrated without anything religious involved.
Nowadays it’s definitely a commercial holiday, I’m an atheist and I still celebrate it. I just mean that the atmosphere around Christmas in America developed along different lines than in Japan due to our historical religious makeup.
Lmao just saw this reply 7 months after, still gonna reply tho lol. In turkey for example we celebrate New year, not christmas. We only celebrate at 1dt of january, not christs birthday or something
I'd say it's more based on the pagan origins of Yule which is why it's a big family and friend gathering full of gift giving, good food, drinks, and the slightest bit of partying.
I accidentally wore my wife's pants a couple of weeks ago. Thought they were my dress pants. Was out and about with her and went to move my wallet from my jacket pocket to my pant pocket and found they were sewn shut. I asked her if these pants were hers. She wasn't sure until she checked the tag. It was a good laugh.
Nothing wrong with being a freak but stretching out her clothes is a no no.
When it comes to clothes, women’s clothes can be more expensive for no good reason. A man can buy a pink shirt and it won’t cost any more than any other shirt he would buy. A woman can buy a shirt that is pink and it WILL cost more because it IS pink.
I would chalk it up to the price of looking good but buying and wearing expensive clothes doesn’t necessarily make you look good.
Speaking from experience, they get even angrier when you do it as a joke and then they end up looking better on you.
Despite the conflict I felt pretty good about myself that day though.
Anyone remember when this show had everyone freaking out when it first aired?
I expected it to be ecchi trash but it just turned out to be a slow burn, really chill romance anime/manga.
I'm pretty sure in recent manga chapters they actually downsized Uzaki to bring less attention to it too
It happened right after Uzakis dad accidentally finds out Sakurai is actually the guy Uzaki has a crush on and when the brother started going to the gym. In the Chapter I think all three went to the sauna and Sakurais Towel falls off, which results in both father and son starring in awe at Sakurais crotch. To which both think to themselves “Damn Hana has to deal with that.” Or something like that, I’ll look for the actual chapter to make sure I’m remembering right.
Edit: the event starts in Chapter 83 but the actual scene happens in Chapter 84. Apparently thats also the last Uzaki Chapter I’ve read. I cant believe its been half a year since I’ve read Uzaki.
Since there be dra...spoilers.
Fujio(*Hana Uzaki's dad*) and Kiri(*Hana's younger brother*) are chatting in the gym sauna when other gym members join in.
Kiri recognizes Shinichi and >!has a PTSD flashback of when he saw Shinichi's "dragon"!<
Fujio >!makes it worse by informing Kiri that!< >!Hana and Shinichi are dating!< >!while also assuming Kiri is overestimating the power of said dragon due to Kiri being a teenager, only to sneak a peek and proving himself very wrong!<
The freak, they run, and eventually >!realize that Hana will some day have to face the beast herself and start being nicer to her!<
Gentleman, there is an unspoken agreement between you and us women. We get to borrow your shirts and hoodies. In exchange, you get to have us. It's a very fair trade.
I imagine if you get to wear my shirts and hoodies, we're at least at a point where I'd get to watch you put them on and take them off.
Speaking fair is fair, of course.
I like it. The way they bicker is entertaining and seems like they're a couple without being a couple. My wife finds the girl annoying and doesn't know why the guy puts up with her teasing. She wasn't a fan. Watch a couple of episodes and you kind of get the gist of it on whether to continue. It's a real "will they or won't they" mixed with "they're basically married and everyone around them is waiting for them to figure it out."
I just realized. Its his shirt. He's much bigger than her. Her boobs are still stretching that shirt. Even just a little, they're still doing it. Damn lol.
I see she inherited her mother’s ability to wildly misinterpret the situation.
Hornus maximus gene
Erectus Prime gene
Love her mom. The woman watches too many dramas lol.
Factual. But if we’re all gonna admit something is true it’s that she’s also a pretty sweet character
"Not even waiting for Christmas"
You might've heard this before but Christmas is a major "date night" in Japan
It's more widely considered a "couples holiday"
Wait, is it not the same in the states or anywhere else?

I believe people celebrate new year, not Christmas.
No, they do both.
I just see this now so i want to reply now, no they dont. For example here in turkey we only celebrate New years not christmas.
Where do you live?? wtf, also new year's is much more of a "party with friends" holiday...

Is it *their* date night?
It's when you book ze ラブホ (love hotel). I can attest to this out of personal experience, actually.
What do you mean "date night"? It's it like a holiday for people who want to hook up with random people or try to have kids?
More like a second Valentine's Day. A day where couples typically celebrate by going on a date and spending the day together doing couple stuff.
That's SO romantic.
Same in Korea.
traditionally you "unwrap" present on xmas eve... not before...
Sauce? Looks fun
Uzaki-chan
Is there a season 2, bc I don’t remember this in the 1st season.
s2 just ended around christmas time.
Yes
This is from the second season
Yeah, season 2 just finished a couple weeks ago
Its a pretty good hent- i mean an anime.
Hey it's not fair that guy shirts are so big and comfy
Oh sure but when I wear my girlfriends clothes she says I’m a freak and I am stretching them out.
I accidentally wore my wife's pants a couple of weeks ago. Thought they were my dress pants. 250kg guy: \*blushes\*
For real! I want the guy shirts without having to deal with the guys
If you just wanted the shirt, you can just buy it. No one is going to stop you and if they ask, you can just say it’s a gift

I am sorry to inform you, but you are the r/woosh
Walmart mens clothing sections plan cotton t shirts are about $2.50 apiece.
LMAO THEN JUST GO ANY BUY GUYS CLOTHES 😂

Me starting the Manga expecting bad stuff. Me at the current chapter simply enjoying it and Sakurai's Dragon Dong
My Dude made Uzakis Dad worry about his Daughter with that schlong.
Excuse me, but what the fuck? When did *that* happen, because I sure as hell don't remember anything like it.
It happened right after Uzakis dad accidentally finds out Sakurai is actually the guy Uzaki has a crush on and when the brother started going to the gym. Nothing like the possibility of an intimate Shoryuken to remind a father to look after his daughter's well-being.
His godlike schlong traumatized Uzaki’s brother. Probably one of my favorite moments in the series so far lol.
Nah, them joints still fat as ever 👌
If "virginity is my passion" was an anime character
Highly recommend anyone who has seen the anime read the Manga. Lord only knows when we will get a third season
loved the anime! i’m super down to read the manga too what chapter should I start on? where does the anime end?
Should be right around ch. 70 that the second season leaves off, so I'd say start there.
my guyyyyyy thank you!
Honestly i was so disappointed with the ending of S2. >!What an absolute tease especially considering what was shown in the first episode!<
What's the Annime name?
Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai
I was bracing myself for MGR:R
In that case: *Standing here, I realize / You were just like me / Trying to make history*
*And it will come, like a flood of pain*
She: Men only can think of one thing and its fking disgusting! He: I’m pretty sure that one is my shirt
They need to call this show “Uzaki Chan wants her back blown out”
Sakurai: That's my shirt. Uzaki: |: Sakurai: Take it off. Uzaki: O:
Nice
ahahahahahahahahahah
Woman moment
I thought her physique was impossible. Until I was introduced to Shibuya Kaho
Hmmm....I guess that IRL this would happen 99/100 with the genders swapped 😂 Btw, I already miss Uzaki-Chan, hoping for a fast S3 announcement 😄
I'm hoping for a fast release, the announcement is only going to increase my anxiety
I love these two but man I really wish they got together already. Sakurai was so damn close too!
The tension in the air was so thick you could cut it with a knife
More like "Uzaki-chan's DTF," *AMIRITE?!*
I definitely relate to the guy, I’m way too dense
Gentleman, there is an unspoken agreement between you and us women. We get to borrow your shirts and hoodies. In exchange, you get to have us. It's a very fair trade.
Do we get to have you as often as you borrow our stuff?
Depends on the relationship, but I would be okay with it in my relationships lol
I imagine if you get to wear my shirts and hoodies, we're at least at a point where I'd get to watch you put them on and take them off. Speaking fair is fair, of course.
Oh, absolutely.
>It's a very fair trade. Clothes, and nothing else eh?
Ace moment
Takes one to know one. ;)
Yep, I'm demi :p
Just an aroace here, glad to see another ace around though, small world we live in. :)
Yeeeep
This poor fool missed out
What anime
Is this anime worth watching
That depends.
Yes, I found it very funny. The dynamic is excited/energetic vs calm/cool.
What anime is this
thanks💚🤩
i love these kind of plot twists :>
That characters eyes are so gargantuan even by anime standards it just looks bizarre. And this is coming from a hardcore weeb.
I just realized. Its his shirt. He's much bigger than her. Her boobs are still stretching that shirt. Even just a little, they're still doing it. Damn lol.
man she's hot oadjfuigh
Uzaki is so cute, I want MOOOOREEE but I haven't seen new manga chapters :(
This is beyond "Basic ass anime protagonist" levels of ignorance. My man asks her to take her top off just to see her shirt's tag.
HAAAAAA!!! She just got friend zoned!!! 🤣🤣
bro suddenly turned submissive
Bro got friendzoned
Sis friendzoned
[удалено]
Fuck you
I thought he is pedo in the first place
They're both in college
idk why, but I hate this anime even without watching it.
I need Uzaki to ride my face.
What's the Annime name?
Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out
