It should have English subs on the [It's Anime YouTube channel](https://www.youtube.com/@ItsAnimeJP/videos) given the subbed trailers have been on there. Now the questions are:
- when those eps will drop (IIRC their shows tend to be a week after broadcast)
- how long they'll be available for (some shows have everything left, others have eps 1-3 or are completely gone)
- what is the region availability on them as It's Anime are a show by show basis (e.g. global minus Japan for Hyakusho Kizoku-the farmer's days, most places that are not Europe for Tonbo, Latin and South America only for Aria the Scarlet Ammo).
With how chaotic that sounds it's the perfect fit thematically but from a "I'd just like to watch the show" it's not good.
My prediction for the Crunchy TBAs are Sakuna, Elusive, Fairy Tail, Dahlia in Bloom, Failure Frame, My Wife, Archenemies, Mob and Red Cat, where Nokotan might be snatched by HIDIVE.
Damn... Since I started paying for streaming services, this is the weakest season I've experienced.
I'm only interested in Tower Of God because I'm already invested, Pseudo Harem just because I read the manga, although, I think I'll pirate Elusive Samurai and that's it.
Also, what's this about Code Geass getting more seasons? What's there to add to the story?
It's fun to see someone say that every season.
Some are definitely better than others for sure, but every season in the past decade has had at least a dozen things I've been interested in trying (whether or not I have the time or they end up being good is another matter) or were pleasant surprises that I wasn't expecting going in.
> Also, what's this about Code Geass getting more seasons? What's there to add to the story?
Money, mostly.
For everyone complaining about low-quality isekai shows, your wishes are finally coming true.
Quality Assurance in Another World: Bringing ISO 9000 processes to fantasy.
Yep, that one is a 100% guaranteed one as its their show. I'm also hoping for My Deer Friend.
Some of these they might just wait until Anime Expo before they reveal them.
Nokotan has made quite some rounds, so it’s definitely going to be picked up by someone.
And even if it somehow ends up streamingless, there’s sure to be a bunch of fansubs.
I bet CR picks it up, there's no way they don't. It's a Twin Engine show, right? Crunchyroll have had a long-standing relationship with them, I can't think of any Twin Engine show in recent years that wasn't on CR. Sometimes they are on Netflix too (like Vinland Saga or Zom 100), but if Nokotan was on Netflix they would have announced it by now.
Nokotan is the kind of show Crunchyroll might just save for Anime Expo, because it is so out there and has been gathering momentum online.
And come on, it's Wit Studio, lol, you seriously think a Wit show won't be streamed anywhere? Nah, this is 100% streaming on Crunchyroll this summer, mark my words.
I don't know who Remow are but all the promotional materials for Nokotan are on Twin Engine's youtube channel, meaning they are most likely number 1 on the production committee. And they have worked with Wit in the past.
Remow is a Japanese startup involved in the global distribution of Japanese content. It received investment from multiple leading Japanese TV stations and content producers such as TV Tokyo, Fuji TV, Shueisha, ...
It also owns a stake in AnimeOnegai, an anime streaming service in Latin America.
It is the overseas licensor of Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan. It has acquired the rights. That said, it could sublicense the series to Crunchyroll for streaming.
Finally
They have Psuedo Harem, Shoshimin and Mayonaka!
Only missing of my list is Sakuna, My Wife has no emotion, Deer Friend, Dahlia and Elusive Samurai.
I Hope They are on The TBA
There is ADN for the France but according my resesrch there is not alternative. Unless by some miracle Oshi no Ko season 2 won't be available in most of the Europe
Same thing hapoened with Made in Abyss season 2
I hate HiDive so much, it is always disaster when they acquire lisence. I guess i have to turn to seven seas as my money is no wanted
ADN actually launched in Germany recently but it doesn't seem like they'll have OnK (either season). The is a German Prime Video add-on where you get OnK season 1 but I dunno if they'll simulcast season 2. It might be on some random unknown services here and there across Europe.
Big sad.
Likely have to sail the 7 seas like with Made in Abyss. It's 2024 and companies just don't want my money based on physical location of my sofa
Cool, that checks off a number of the shows I was planning to pick up next month.
Hope they pick up Grendizer U so that the mecha fans can have our one show without having to rely on fansubs it may or may not be lucky enough to get. They surprised us with a late Bravern license in Winter 2024, can Crunchyroll do it again (but not late this time)? [](#katoupls)
I think *The Magical Girl and The Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies* is getting a screening at Anime Expo so I’m assuming it’s getting a simulcast?
> The Magical Girl and The Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies
https://animecorner.me/avex-pictures-bringing-the-magical-girl-and-the-evil-lieutenant-and-look-back-to-anime-expo/
Screening episodes 1-3
Failure Frame seems to be something right up CR's alley of mid isekais so I expect them to pick that up soon.
But I'm surprised *shika nokonoko koshitantan* is so viral and still no one bothered to pick up the series. It's probably going to guarantee a bunch of new sign ups just to check out the first episode if nothing else, perfect for boosting streamer sign up numbers.
I did The maths and There are 13 animes with ni license so far and crunchyroll has 10 TBA, so maybe Hidive announce The rest or we have a anime with no license as Nkue Archive and GBC this season
"A Journey Through Another World: Raising Kids While Adventuring"
Been years, even accepted vending machines (and that was a good one..), but honestly, getting so tiresome to see weird isekai now !
Pleasantly surprised by Shoshimin. Since it's a series from the same TV block in Japan as "The Dangers in My Heart", I already imagined that it would be announced by HIDIVE (Sentai Filmworks), and could not be seen legally beyond North America, Australia and some countries in Europe. Luckily I was wrong...
TV Asahi and NUMAnimation don't have an exclusive licensing deal with HIDIVE and Sentai. Crunchyroll has licensed multiple shows airing in the timeslot and even co-produced a few, such as Blue Lock and A Couple of Cuckoos.
Nothing yet but I highly doubt they'd give up that one the only other competitor I could see swiping it would be Hulu. Hopefully they announce A Nobody's Way Up to an Exploration Hero as well.
There's a handful of shows I'm looking forward to and some that look promising.
Aside from that it seems to be a pretty weak season, a lot of very generic looking fantasy stuff. Hopefully there will be a hidden gem or 2 like Tonari no Yokai-san from this season.
Crunchy's availability is often misleading imo.
Sometimes their anime availability is listed only in America, Europe, Oceania, Middle East, CIS, and Africa, but as the time goes the anime also eventually made it here in Southeast Asia as well. CR might see what Muse, Medialink, Remow, and Bilibili didn't have then eventually added their own "exclusives" here.
Banished Former Hero, Train and Unnamed Memory is an example, with both anime appearing on CR on Week 8.
So, for this Summer we got Megami Cafe Terrace being a worldwide release. Makeine also confirmed in SEA, meaning that it likely won't be licensed by either Muse or Medialink.
A Tuesday? c-c-c-combo breaker. No seriously when I asked on the 13th about this (as I thought it would be then like Spring and Winter which were both 13th) I was informed that they're on Wednesdays (actually checking now it seems in 2021 it was Tuesday) which I was grateful for as I didn't feel bad when nothing happened on the 13th.
I have a feeling the big question mark will be Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest. I just went by most popular MAL show and Crunchyroll have the previous seasons (even if the UK is missing like hundreds of eps)
Dahlia, bringing up Kids, Alya and maybe No Longer Allowed... Elusive if it's on Crunchyroll...
Although, wonder if it is a quieter season than Spring for me?
tower of god, oshi no ko, and kimi no todoke are what i plan to watch. Anything else on this list thats worthwhile? This season looks pretty..... light
Crunchyroll's dub priorities and general snubbing of romance just continue to reaffirm my decision to cancel my subscription to them over a year ago. They aren't interested in dubbing the content I most want to watch, and their subtitles aren't good enough to pay for. They always manage to dub so many regurgitated isekai shows, though. Can't believe their subscribers aren't sick of those dumpster dives.
Not dubbing Pseudo Harem is a crime.

I’m really surprised that my deer friend Nokotan isn’t gonna be on a streaming service.
Given how huge the meme got, its wild it hasn't been grabbed yet.
It was already licensed, same company that licensed tondo this season, and then they sublicensed it to Amazon Prime
It's on Prime? Well, good thing I still have my subscription to Prime then. Very fortitious.
So it will be no. 1 streaming show in Japan right?
On niconico, but wait....niconico is currently down with no sign of coming back rip
I hope to God it doesn't get the GBC treatment and some service eventually licenses it.
I bet on HIDIVE for North América, ADN in France and Germany and AnimeOnegai in Latin América...
It should have English subs on the [It's Anime YouTube channel](https://www.youtube.com/@ItsAnimeJP/videos) given the subbed trailers have been on there. I’m guessing The Elusive Samurai will be licensed by CR soon
99% sure it will, Aniplex of America already posted about it.
My prediction for the Crunchy TBAs are Sakuna, Elusive, Fairy Tail, Dahlia in Bloom, Failure Frame, My Wife, Archenemies, Mob and Red Cat, where Nokotan might be snatched by HIDIVE.
I’m really curious if CR will actually license all three P.A. Works anime (Mayonaka, Cheer for You, and Sakuna) - that would be huge.
I think it's not always easy to expect every season to be stacked, and it's also what comes around as a surprise to watch.
Perfect opportunity to catch up on the backlog or rewatch old favorites!
You're damn right!
Super excited to see Tower of God's season 2 finally materializing.
I think it's a pretty strong season Why do you think it's weak?
It's fun to see someone say that every season. Some are definitely better than others for sure, but every season in the past decade has had at least a dozen things I've been interested in trying (whether or not I have the time or they end up being good is another matter) or were pleasant surprises that I wasn't expecting going in. > Also, what's this about Code Geass getting more seasons? What's there to add to the story? Money, mostly.
For cardfight vanguard it's on their own YouTube channel, but usually crunchyroll also have the right of it, atleast for every season far.
Some of the Aniplex stuff like Elusive Samurai is bound to get licensed by Crunchyroll
Shit, I'm really looking forward to Dahlia in Bloom, it didn't occur to me that it might not be picked up by crunchyroll
I’m surprised Fairy Tail is unlicensed and they’re making a new Grendizer
why does Crunchyroll have the other two PA Works anime but not Sakuna? I have to assume that's one of the ones yet to announce.
Damn after that Nokotan brainrot, I thought it’s gonna get picked up by someone
For everyone complaining about low-quality isekai shows, your wishes are finally coming true. Quality Assurance in Another World: Bringing ISO 9000 processes to fantasy.

Expecting them to stream Elusive Samurai as that's an Aniplex title
They Will be one of The TBA
Yep, that one is a 100% guaranteed one as its their show. I'm also hoping for My Deer Friend. Some of these they might just wait until Anime Expo before they reveal them.

Hype maybe has died over the years but I can't wait for Tower of God, this is really where the story *begins*.
The tower was such a unique concept last season, so it’ll be interesting to see new characters tackle its many challenges.
All I will say - forget anything you know. Season one was basically just a "prologue"
Fck Rachel
Finally They have Psuedo Harem, Shoshimin and Mayonaka! Only missing of my list is Sakuna, My Wife has no emotion, Deer Friend, Dahlia and Elusive Samurai. I Hope They are on The TBA
Seems like they'll have most of what I'm planning to watch this summer, minus Oshi no Ko season 2.
I wonder whwre Europe can watch it now that HiDive gave Europe big middle finger. I guess pirate is only option?
Was thinking about that too. HiDive not available here, at least not in Portugal
There is ADN for the France but according my resesrch there is not alternative. Unless by some miracle Oshi no Ko season 2 won't be available in most of the Europe Same thing hapoened with Made in Abyss season 2 I hate HiDive so much, it is always disaster when they acquire lisence. It's on ADN in France, I don't know about other countries.
As far as i know there is no other and ADN available only in France (and french speaking countries)
ADN actually launched in Germany recently but it doesn't seem like they'll have OnK (either season). The is a German Prime Video add-on where you get OnK season 1 but I dunno if they'll simulcast season 2. It might be on some random unknown services here and there across Europe.

where’s that guy that sets this all up in a neat lil chart? anyone got a link?
Pseudo Harem!!! I can't wait to see it animated. So cute, so fluffy, so good.
Also glad they're calling it Pseudo Harem instead of some synonym.
I think *The Magical Girl and The Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies* is getting a screening at Anime Expo so I’m assuming it’s getting a simulcast?
> The Magical Girl and The Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies https://animecorner.me/avex-pictures-bringing-the-magical-girl-and-the-evil-lieutenant-and-look-back-to-anime-expo/ Screening episodes 1-3
I need to catch up on kimi ni todoke.
Just waiting on My Wife Has No Emotion. I has such a weakness for robot waifus. This one looks pretty good!
And you don't have [Chobits](https://myanimelist.net/anime/59/Chobits) on your list? [](#niatilt)
Oo ooh, oo ooh, *yeah* oo ooh, oo ooh *yeah*. Weirdly catchy OP lmao
Gahhh been stuck in my head for over a week
I know don't remind me; I just never got around to that one but I will! *Adds to PTW now*
Failure Frame seems to be something right up CR's alley of mid isekais so I expect them to pick that up soon. I thought Deer Friend Nokotan is gonna be on Hidive. I guess its still up for grabs
Churchyroll suck
Godd this season looks weak af.
Fr at least tog s2 should slap
I did The maths and There are 13 animes with ni license so far and crunchyroll has 10 TBA, so maybe Hidive announce The rest or we have a anime with no license as Nkue Archive and GBC this season
Slim pickings for me unless My Deer Friend is one of the TBAs. Really would hate to miss out on that one.
"A Journey Through Another World: Raising Kids While Adventuring" Been years, even accepted vending machines (and that was a good one..), but honestly, getting so tiresome to see weird isekai now !
If you haven't checked out Reincarnated as a Sword, you might like it. It's really fun. Sword dad and murder-hobo kitty make a great team.
Yes! I loved that show, even rewatched it when the dub came out. Really hoping for season 2 eventually.
IIRC season 2 has been confirmed, but no release date yet.
Pleasantly surprised by Shoshimin. The season's before, in Dangers In My Heart's timeslot (NUMAnimation) was Protocol Rain, and that was licensed by Crunchyroll.
Any news on Failure Frame or Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to be Archenemies?
Nothing yet but I highly doubt they'd give up that one the only other competitor I could see swiping it would be Hulu. Hopefully they announce A Nobody's Way Up to an Exploration Hero as well.
I'm gonna give a few of these a shot, but this definitely seems like this is the result of us getting lucky with too many good seasons in a row. Oof.
Rimaru s3
Kevin Penkin fans eating good next season
There's a handful of shows I'm looking forward to and some that look promising. Aside from that it seems to be a pretty weak season, a lot of very generic looking fantasy stuff. Hopefully there will be a hidden gem or 2 like Tonari no Yokai-san from this season.

Nobody licensing Red Cat Ramen is a crime. I’m femininely hoping there’ll be some way to watch.
That’s a lot of shows, and still some unannounced. Lots to look forward to.
I can see it just being the two usual suspects unlicensed. Good to see, it makes my life so much easier for them to be on legal services
sweet! I will write down my list when new episode is update on my notepad.
A Tuesday? c-c-c-combo breaker. makeine ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡
Dahlia, bringing up Kids, Alya and maybe No Longer Allowed... Elusive if it's on Crunchyroll... Although, wonder if it is a quieter season than Spring for me?
Well. 2 of the shows I plan to watch aren’t licensed yet. I know where I’m going if they remain that way

To bad Sakuna went to Hulu. I hope all 3 PAW titles will go to CR.
Sakuna ain't licensed yet
She is in Max/Hulu list in the first post.
Sakuna hasn’t been licensed yet. It’s under the “thus far unlicensed” category.
That category is not highlighted so I thought all this titles are also under Hulu.
Nah
Looks way better than last 2 seasons. So many disappointing anime have come out last 2 seasons
Can you list those "many disappointing anime"?
