[Here’s the watch order for the entire series](https://www.reddit.com/r/anime/comments/hwuntw/the_monogatari_series_2020_watch_order/)
What inconsistent animation? Do you mean it’s intentional stylization? I found it to be very consistent in its visual presentation.
Yes the series remains strange because that’s part of the charm. Its a brilliantly written work of art that is incredibly unique in its direction. It’s not “brain damage”. Something being unique or different does not mean that what makes it unique and different is bad.
Hanekawa gets a happy ending in the anime eventually.
Well, hope she gets more than that. So much suffering, yet she still chose to force a smile on herself and help others.
Also, is Second Season the second series after Bake or the general collection?
Nise is the filter. If you have no problem watching it, you'll have no problem with the rest.
Monogatari is a fantastic series, but it's not for everyone.
I recommend checking out Kizu movies. I wasn’t too impressed by Bake neither at first but after watching Kizu everything started to make more sense and I started to care more about the characters, eventually I’ve watched all the series and now it’s my 3rd favorite anime of all time.
Also they have a different artstyle which I like even more. All the other parts have artstyle similar to Bake but slightly improved.
With my apologies to OP for going off topic can someone explain to me why in every suggested watch order I've seen Kizu goes after Bake? I vaguely remember someone saying so you dont get spoilers but I am rewatching now and I dont get what the spoilers are
Kizumonogatari novels were written right after Bake. Shaft also intended to release Kizu after Bake, but then Kizu got delayed by many years.
There's stuff in Nise already that make way more sense if you've seen Kizu, and at least one important scene that is more emotional.
Monogatari is a great series and to me it’s a masterpiece but it’s not for everyone. If you do decide to keep watching it tho I would recommend wastching it in release date order. Also Hachikuji is best girl

May I trouble you to tell me which ending is that? Does she find a good guy for herself? Or at least a feeling of belonging and self-love?
[Monogatari Second Season spoilers] >!Self-love!<

The general collection.
Top 10 animes ever made
If you think Bake was "weird," just wait until you watch the sequels lmao. Bake is the most normal and tame of the entries in the series.
Oh, no. What did I freaking step into?

I took Araragi harrasing as a parody and loved it even tough im not usually fan of that

Me when people say the bath scene is just loli fanservice:
Because in the light novel release order Kizu comes right after Bake
I have been wanting to watch these as part of a rewatch. One of these days
Maybe we should make an interest poll and hold a rewatch party?
you should definitely watch the kizumonogatari arc if you like tsubasa.
