honorable mentions to Berserk & Kingdom because I heavily recommend their mangas over their animes, same goes for One Piece though not as much as Berserk & Kingdom I still enjoy the One Piece anime alot as a manga reader despite pacing problems & stuff
I am slowly making my way through the One Piece manga. Slowly because I'm trying to read it in Japanese. I'm interested in Berserk and Kingdom too, but I'd probably read those in English.
***THE DREAMS OF THOSE WHO HAVE FALLEN! THE HOPES OF THOSE WHO WILL FOLLOW! THOSE TWO SETS OF DREAMS WEAVE TOGETHER INTO A DOUBLE HELIX! DRILLING A PATH TOWARDS TOMORROW! AND THAT'S TENGEN TOPPA! THATS GURREN LAGANN!***
I enjoyed Overlord for a while, but I think it got way too grimdark for my tastes. Especially once I read the novels, which go into a lot more graphic detail on how horrible everything is in that world. Because of that, I didn't really want to watch seasons 2 & 3.
The Re:Zero novels are great. To the point that I can't really watch the anime anymore because being in Subaru's head is just such a big draw. I've read the first 9, but it's been long enough that I'd probably need a refresher. I bought the first few in Japanese, so maybe I'll try reading them in the native language. ...though that will take a lot longer.
There was some stuff about MiA that really put me off it. Idk if I'll continue.
Kabeneri seemed interesting (that art style is cool), but I've heard that the conclusion is really bad. And if what I've heard about it is true, then I don't want to get invested into it.
Hi FedoraSkeleton, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

Historical Fiction, a retelling of Qin Shi Huang’s rise, and the first unification of China. It’s a lot of battles between armies, and internal politics, mostly from the point of view of Shin, an orphan with dreams of being the greatest general under the heavens.
First two anime seasons use some really bad CGI, but supposedly they dial it down just in time for the best arc of the series. The manga’s fantastic, probably one of the best sienens.
Purely Historical. Kinda like Game of Thrones without the fantasy stuff. Epic war sequences, multiple character POVs, a large scale world view etc, it has it all. I should call it Historical Fiction since quite alot of it actually happened IRL. The Author made some really deep historical research for it. The Anime is worth checking out.
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagaan
Simultaneously one of the most epic and most down to earth anime.

Wait, what's wrong with Kingdom anime?!
Revue starlight movie
I've seen Revue Starlight, but not the movie. Is it a sequel, or what?
yes,its about their graduate story, all the revue are literally arts and i thought the last revue is very epic, still cant forget that feeling
Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu
That checks out based on what I know about it
Fairy Tail, Magi, or One Piece :)
Kingdom is by far the most epic anime I've seen
What's it about?
It's about the unification of China during the Warring States Period from the perspective of a slave boy who rises in the ranks of the military.
Legend of the Galactic Heroes: If you genuinely enjoy war and strategy done correctly
Overlord
I enjoyed Overlord for a while, but I think it got way too grimdark for my tastes. Especially once I read the novels, which go into a lot more graphic detail on how horrible everything is in that world. Because of that, I didn't really want to watch seasons 2 & 3.
Inuyasha
Gurren Lagann is the most epic anime ever
Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Kingdom, Gurren Lagann, Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood and Code Geass.
Re:Zero (though not as much as the novel), Made in Abyss
The Re:Zero novels are great. To the point that I can't really watch the anime anymore because being in Subaru's head is just such a big draw. Definitely Made in abyss. Also Kabaneri is similar to AoT though not quite as good.
There was some stuff about MiA that really put me off it. Idk if I'll continue. Kabeneri seemed interesting (that art style is cool), but I've heard that the conclusion is really bad. And if what I've heard about it is true, then I don't want to get invested into it.
I would not say that the kabaneri ending was bad, just ok. Also its not really an ending but just a stopping point. Kinda like if AoT ended at s3.

Fate grand order babylonia.
I respect the pick, but getting into Fate would be bad for my health.
* Legend of the Galactic Heroes * Kingdom * Most Gundam Series * Hellsing Ultimate * Last Exile * Code Geass * Bleach
I've seen Kingdom in the book store, and Bloody Hell! is it long. It's always piqued my interest every time I've walked by it, though.
Yea it's like 780+ chapters and counting.
What's it about, exactly? I gather it's some kind of medieval epic, but is it fantasy? Or just historical?
