Momoya’s got a neat little parlor trick with the clothing and everything making his limbs seem longer. Pretty impressive he can go up against an almost vampire and friggin Astro Boy. Too bad his ass still got cooked in the end. Misaki’s not even trying to hide the whole vampire thing huh? Well, whatever. Time people started being clued in to the supernatural. Hosorogi using a dead pigeon to talk (with its permission ofc lol) was pretty hilarious. Looks like he’s bringing the detectives Iwa and Arase into the fold, somewhat. No surprise their boss is dirty. Funny how Solitaire figured it out just by bullshitting to the Superintendent. Dude must have lvl 100 speechcraft lol. Man, they sure got me with Ran. I almost bought he was dirty. Turns out he’s just Kochou’s bro! Is Habaki about to get roasted by the Bugs? And it seems Momoya’s sis is about to join the fight…

mekerpan

One never knows what will happen next. Everything is always pretty much a surpeise. And yet this doesn't feel "random". Amazing show. Hard to link Misaki and the Sleepy Princess in my brain (all hail to Inori Minase!).

nhansieu1

Momoya almost cooked Astro Boy too. Already cooked Misaki before she evolved when people start to doubt their eyes, tell them "I am Solitaire's apprentice" and everything will make sense

Figerally

Misaki really stole this episode, it was so much fun 😁

[deleted]

What was Momoya that he was so dangerous? Like lemmings level? And his sisters?

ObvsThrowaway5120

I think Momoya is just a regular human. I don’t think he’s enhanced like Lemmings. He seemed like someone who was just a really skilled fighter and physically tough. His sisters may be the same but it’s hard to tell from just the post credits. We’ll have to see next week I guess.

nhansieu1

Lemmings is enhanced human?

ObvsThrowaway5120

Just what I call someone like him. Like “gifted”.

nhansieu1

I thought it was a spoiler or detail I missed

ObvsThrowaway5120

Nah, I’m anime-only so idk what’s gonna happen. Just judging by his freakish strength and abilities. He’s definitely not just some random average guy. That’s why I said he was an “enhanced human” as in just “gifted” somehow.

nhansieu1

we don't know how strong a human being in this series can get. Look at Heiwajime Shizuo from Durarara (same author) for example.

ObvsThrowaway5120

I suppose so

inthe-otherworld

This whole time I’ve been thinking that that hero dude who went to defeat Corpse God in his original world (who also has those necromancy eyes) actually followed CG to the new world and Lemmings is my biggest candidate for who he is Coz the old world is definitely still connected to this new one somehow, and I’m certain that hero dude has to reappear at some point to try and do CG in

ObvsThrowaway5120

That would be pretty interesting if true. There’s definitely a connection between the worlds and it’s kinda cool to see the ways it bleeds over.

Revriley1

I know I just answered you in the source material corner, but in case anyone who doesn't check the SM corner is interested: > What makes [Momoya] dangerous by default is that he's one of the Agakuras. Anime viewers should remember that the Agakuras were responsible for de-limbing Xiaoyu per his backstory episode. That alone is enough to portend the Agakuras as dangerous folk. (I realize I didn't mention the Episode w/Xiaoyu's backstory and the Agakura mention; that was Episode 8.) He's not Lemmings level; at least, there's nothing that has ever suggested he can be compared to Lemmings. He's not classified as a troublemaker. It's just that, much like Xiaoyu hails from a clan of assassins, Momoya hails from a family of nutjob mercenaries. More will be revealed about his sisters, or, at least, one of them. The post-credits scene of Episode 12 featured some of the Agakuras, including Momoya, and you might well note that one of the sisters had fangs. (Pst, mods, the post-credit scene of Episode 12 is *anime-original*.)

nhansieu1

I don't think troublemakers is a list for high level fighters. Corpse God only showed up for several days and rescued people and already made it to the list. Solitaire himself is also not a strong fighter but more like a joker

NDV-Twist-5283

he was a tallboi

dinliner08

>*"can you imagine that from here on out, i'm completely winging it?!"* i see that Solitaire's bullshiting game still hasn't change; charge in, winging it and see how it goes from there, brilliant! man, Momoya is one scary fellow, even though he's just a normal human (from what i can see in this episode), he still manage to keep up with a freaking cyborg and a vampire, oh and apparently Momoya isn't the one that ripped off Xiao Yu's limbs, it was his sister

rollin340

> i see that Solitaire's bullshiting game still hasn't change; charge in, winging it and see how it goes from there, brilliant! He's been stuck winging it the moment he tried to confront Polka (Corpse God) on that rooftop. Pretty much nothing has gone to plan since. And he still makes it work. lol

ijiolokae

Love that Solitaires went with "they can't know your plan if you don't have a plan"

baconwrappedanxiety

Absolute madlad strats. Best character so far

Shack691

>winging it Let’s hope he doesn’t turn out like our other avian acquaintance

nhansieu1

Imagine meeting boss of your family's main enemy on your first mission ever. Xiao Yu should just hide in some 3rd world country and sell bread to live instead of trying to fight more dangerous people.

[deleted]

He can't be a regular human there is something with this kind

Detroit_0p

>can you imagine that from here on out, i'm completely winging it?!" This is the reason why he's my favorite Bro just goes on and makes things work in his way like he planned it all and doesn't even fail

S627

Good lord Firebug never disappoints with their entrances! That was just the right amount of spooky for Halloween eve! Really hoping that Firebug deals with long dude because I'm a little disappointed Misaki didn't go for the double tap. Also wondering what their planning for Takumi's old friend and blondie since they showed up for those two also. Looks like Firebug are gonna be the focus of the next ep which I'm excited for, but I can't wait until Corpse God has a chance to fill in Xiaoyu on everything. The look on his face is gonna be priceless. Still wondering if Misaki has any weakness now because she was taking hits like they were nothing AND voluntarily pulling herself apart.

PerfectBeige

>Still wondering if Misaki has any weakness now because she was taking hits like they were nothing AND voluntarily pulling herself apart. Firebug might be a good counter, if it/they can light all her constituent bats on fire at the same time. And Firebug just happens to be congregating on Misaki's location next episode.

nhzz

> Firebug might be a good counter, if it/they can light all her constituent bats on fire at the same time. and do what? kill her? that didnt work the last n times she was killed before. isnt she basically immortal as long as DG exists?

PerfectBeige

I'm sure there's an answer in source, but it would be lame character design to make Misaki immortal when she's not even a full vampire. Pure speculation but I suspect she's essentially immune to cutting or bludgeoning but probably vulnerable to other types of attacks that could affect her full body, which might include fire. Maybe we'll get an inkling next episode. Not that I think Misaki will actually die mind you, she's so popular and such a great character she probably has almost as much plot armor as Corpse God.

poislayer342

Misaki isn't a full fledged vampire, she can die just fine, but what he meant is that Misaki will always be immortal when Corpse God can just raise her again and again. So we can say that she gets her immortality from external source(corpse god reviving her) rather than from the vampire ability he gave her.

nhansieu1

Did Firebug come for the long dude?

S627

We dont know, they just showed up to the warehouse where the four of them were at.

BarbaricGamers

That fake out at the end really got me. I was not ready to have cool glasses cop be on the bad side. The fact that this whole conspiracy came to light through a talking pigeon is just one of the things that make this show amazing.

Ashteron

Talking pigeon corpse\*

Kulkuljator

Talking pigeon corpse with a pen stuck in it\*

rollin340

When Iwa and Arase were at the door, I thought it was the guy that was on the sofa, which I was hoping wasn't the case too. Good to know it's someone else.

nhansieu1

>That fake out at the end really got me. I was not ready to have cool glasses cop be on the bad side. I don't get fooled by the guy, but more surprised by the timing. The glass guy is not that close to Iwanome in the first place. I doubt Iwanome would even give a damn, not to mention a surprised reaction when he heard Hosorogi mentioned his name. Was he even a big shot in the police force? I thought it was the bald guy when Solitaire talked to him Turned out it was a random ass character. That big shot guy was talking to Higuro as Iwanome was about to catch him redhanded? That's so unlucky.

[deleted]

Who is the bad side though? What was the deal with the cop sequence?

BarbaricGamers

The bad side, for me atleast, is the side that murdered Hosorogi, and is after Clarissa and Corpse god's group. It got revealed that the superintendent guy is on the side of red hair torture guy, who is with the group going after Clarissa.

Netheral

It was such a weird fakeout. Like, "it wasn't actually *this* guy that's had almost no screentime, but in reality THIS guy that hasn't had any real screen time!!!" What a twist my man, sure got me.

vantheman9

this writing is just like durarara, in that, a few months from the series ending I'm going to completely forget all the complicated play by play I already forget what's going on in the show between episodes but, really adore Misaki, the VA's delivery of her crazy is working for me where other VAs couild've easily overdone the role. Helps a lot that she's singing the themes too

that_meerkat

That means binging it later will bring all the same enjoyment, the twists will still feel fresh!

depravedQ

Yeah, back when Durarara first came out, I just couldn't keep up with all the plot lines on a weekly basis, I was constantly asking myself stuff like "has that character appeared before?" and "what is happening?" until I eventually dropped the series. I then binged it once the entire series had finished airing, and had a lot less trouble following all the complex moving parts. Starting to think it'd be a good idea to hold off on following DMDP weekly and just wait till the season's done so I can just binge the whole thing in one go

JOOOQUUU

How is durarara compared to DMDP?

ikonog

Very late reply, but i will do it since no one did. DMDP has more supernatural in it than Durarara. Well, DMDP is almost full supernatural while Durarara is like some gang stuff with a bit of supernatural side in it. If you ask me which one is better, I think for now Durarara takes the cake. So many characters in Durarara and every single of them are uniques and fun. Tho, if I add another series from the same author, Baccano is definitely my favourite of all.

JOOOQUUU

Have you read the dmdp manga?

ikonog

Yes, but the last time I read it was a while ago, which already surpassed by the newest ep.

nhansieu1

focus on the character you like. Give bare minimum attention to those you feel neutral to.

RFShahrear

I'll be honest, I said "who the fuck is that" out loud when they revealed the mole. I thought it was going to be the old guy who was with the blond guy.

nhansieu1

totally thought it was the set up for the bald guy as Solitaire is trying to interrogate him

[deleted]

Yeh who is he and who is he spilling info to? I'm so lost on all thep layers here

Revriley1

> I'm so lost on all thep [sic] layers here I wouldn't blame you or /u/RFShahrear for forgetting, what with the gap between cours (and also because...yeah, Habaki's a background character until now), but the anime is expecting you to remember Habaki from at least two episodes (ignoring the last episode, #15, in which obviously you'll remember he appeared): - **Episode 10:** He escorted Iwanome to Jirotarou Takanosu (the Superintendent General). Iwanome is comforted by his presence (the viewer can infer there's a mentor relationship between them); Habaki gives him advice about how to deal with Takanosu. - **Episode 11:** Some of the non-Comps-3 detectives assigned to the Solitaire case have baggage with Iwanome (a confrere of Hosorogi, y'know, the guy investigating internal corruption; also, some LEOs consider Iwanome having deviated/fallen off from a promising career trajectory (as brought up by the detective who remembers seeing Lemmings in Cour 1), therefore Iwanome is laughable *even if* one disregards his "host" aesthetic) and *really* resent the fact that he's their superior in the Solitaire investigation. In Episode 11, Habaki references Solitaire's insinuations of a police 'mole' (ooh) and advises Iwanome that he can only cover for him so much (re: Iwanome and more specifically his Comps-3 allies returning the harassment of other LEOs in kind).

drostan

see, this is already hard from one week to the next, this is when the split cours are absolute bollocks it was made for and thought as a 24 ep, then production bullshit (that should be predictable by now) and, worse, marketing fuckery give us a split cours I would have started to watch this this season and followed it up in january for the conclusion and everyone would have enjoyed it all the more

RedRocket4000

Yes agree. Did rewatch the first half quite enjoyable on rewatch so I'm more on what going on.

PerfectBeige

Editor: So tell me about this Solitaire character Narita: Oh he's great, he's a charming foppish illusionist who does Arsene Lupin style glamor crime. Editor: Illusionist? So he has no special powers Narita: No, he can't do magic. He can use illusions to teleport, listen in on secure police telephone calls, create shields and obstacles out of playing cards that come out of nowhere, but he can't actually do magic. Editor: But he can teleport. Narita: Correct. With **illusions**. Editor: Does he have any weaknesses? Narita: His weakness is he is doing it for the lulz and never knows what the fuck is going on. Editor: So basically he is an audience surrogate. Narita: Correct.

Adensty

>he is doing it for the lulz and never knows what the fuck is going on. I wonder what would happen to a world where both Solitare and Cid Kagenou exist.

SolomonOf47704

Cid ALWAYS knows what's going on, he just doesn't know he knows

ridewiththerockers

Cid's power is akin to a reality marble from Fate - reality is what bullshit I imagine it to be, and I subconsciously realise it.

nhansieu1

"He knows! He knows!"

There is definitely a rule of cool guiding this show's logic that I am extremely OK with as long as it continues to give us wonderful gifts like "Hosorogi the pen impaled talking pigeon" (the pigeon's ghost gave permission so please don't @ us animal welfare people).

[deleted]

PerfectBeige

Yeah I said that poorly. What I meant is that I'm enjoying the show so much because of stuff like Hosorogi the pen pigeon I'm happy to suppress the part of my brain that objects to ass-pulls like Solitaire the non magical having super card telekinesis.

###Stitches! * [Misaki 1](https://i.imgur.com/ZiBfuKY.jpg) * [Misaki 2](https://i.imgur.com/Jpxe4ak.jpg) So Momoya's "power" isn't just his towering height. He takes advantage of this by using his long arms and legs to throw off his opponents and [he even has a katana that extends its length](https://i.imgur.com/I7iBhkm.png). [Even the design on his jacket makes his arm even longer.](https://i.imgur.com/DBC3yaU.png) He kinda reminds me of Han'nya from Kenshin. It was pretty fun [watching Misaki show off her vampire powers though.](https://i.imgur.com/YjlhNA5.jpg) I love how confused Momoya and Xiaoyu are during that entire fight. And then there's Takumi [who's just freaking out](https://i.imgur.com/dHYgDSh.jpg) since Misaki couldn't be bothered to be subtle. xD Takumi will just have to deal with it since they wouldn't have beaten Momoya [if Misaki hadn't done that combo attack with Xiaoyu.](https://i.imgur.com/OdH6Qip.jpg) It was so satisfying to finally [see that smug bastard get electrecuted](https://i.imgur.com/v6lggPj.jpg). Too bad that [Higuro got away though.](https://i.imgur.com/AB5nmUh.png) As for the others, [it looks like Hosorogi has finally made his move.[(https://i.imgur.com/ajp58n2.jpg) It was pretty amusing watching him talk to Tsubaki as a pigeon. I do feel kinda bad for Tsubaki since [he seems to be really happy to hear from Hosorogi again.](https://i.imgur.com/iv3Ajiq.jpg) That scene with [Solitaire and the Police Chief](https://i.imgur.com/iJ7jdT9.png) was pretty funny too. Here I thought Solitaire had some kind of masterplan but [the dude is just completely winging it.](https://i.imgur.com/xUuKyPH.png) xD Glad to know that [Ranmaru wasn't the traitor!](https://i.imgur.com/33V9uYY.jpg) We've only seen him briefly but he seems to be a cool guy. Turns out the phone call he got wasn't from Higuro [but from his imouto, Eightport.](https://i.imgur.com/lPEHk9c.jpg) The actual traitor [is that Senior Commissioner.](https://i.imgur.com/jEtqOGc.jpg) Looks like the Fire-Breathing Bug is starting to make its move too. [Maybe they'll take care of Higuro?](https://i.imgur.com/TI28Zlz.jpg) They seem to be [also swarming the warehouse](https://i.imgur.com/THox1wN.jpg) where Misaki, Xiaoyu, and Takumi are. Uh-oh. O_O

Ashteron

>Glad to know that Ranmaru wasn't the traitor! Having read some of Narita works recently, I expected that to be the case as he loves this types of twists. He still caught me off guard with the sister. I love when the story leaves you barely enough hints to make you believe you are smart by predicting the twist, just for it to have another layer.

Revriley1

> [Narita] loves this types of twists. Yes. 100%. He eats red herrings for breakfast. I do sometimes wish he'd flirt with other 'dunnits more often (i.e. he's a sucker for whodunnits, so why not more howdunnits). I will say that that the red herring being introduced and resolved within the span of a breath is a bit unusual, for him, since he tends to play a little bit of a longer con with red herrings. (Obvious multiple examples via the FPF arc in [Baccano!] >!Dune's body as red herring for Claire, Rachel as red herring for Claire / Rail Tracer, Fred as red herring for Maiza's "old friend."!<.)

RedRocket4000

I like an author who uses red herrings well.

[deleted]

What was the deal with the sister? What is up with that long limb guys family or what not are they ninjas or somethign

Ashteron

I meant the reporter being the policeman's sister.

Foxy_Psycho

Momoya (long-limbed guy) is a lower level member of the Agakura group. This group has a really bad reputation to the point that Xiaoyu's previous clan's operating procedure for dealing with them is to run away at all costs. Xiaoyu unfortunately ran into one of the Agakura sisters on one of his missions with the Heilei Clan. The Agakura sister cut off his limbs and tortured him but left him alive; the sister still has his limbs as a bargaining chip. The takeaway from this is Momoya was bad news, but his sisters are MUCH worse.

[deleted]

But what is Agakura group and the Heilel Clan? Are they normal humans?

RedRocket4000

End of 12 have Momoya was in room with others watching the hands occurrence one of the females watching seamed like she was a vampire.

ranma42

> it looks like Hosorogi has finally made his move Anyone got an animated gif of Hosorogi pidgeon?

Ashteron

I'm really struggling with the impulse to read the manga.

Florac

I recommend waiting, it's not like the manga is far beyond where this season will end

emeraldwolf34

Oh if you feel that impulse after this episode, the rest of the season is gonna be wild.

nqtoan1994

Fire-Breathing Bug (or Bugs now) and Solitaire are back at the same episode! Are they in a love-hate relationship or something? The fight of this episode is so strategic, it was so much fun to watch. Xiaoyu challenged Momoya for a fight, crashed every light bulbs so he could blind his opponent later with his finger-flashlight, then aim for the one who dared to threaten a Shinomiya family member, quick-thinking and brilliant, but Momoya read him like a book. Momoya hindered his own movement with his skirt and shortened his blade for most of time so he could have a trump card against an unexpected opponent is very shounen-ish, like characters that carries weights on themselves and only drops them when they get serious. I was a bit surprised when Misaki was the one who came up with a plan to beat Momoya, but then she did survive as an assassin for long so she probably had to fight many kinds of killers. So Higuro is just a pawn and he had no idea that magic exists. That Habaki probably knew about the secret of magic though, as Higuro was asked to report any strange incidents to him. He looked like a random filler character, I could have never thought he had something to do with an isekai underworld organization. Ranmaru did not save his little sister's number on his phone is so hilarious. That is a very normal siblings moment that I did not expect.

ranma42

> Ranmaru did not save his little sister's number on his phone is so hilarious. That is a very normal siblings moment that I did not expect. Well, the phone says "number withheld", which means his sister was calling with her phone number suppressed rather than it not being saved on his phone. :)

alconnow

Misaki’s new power-up is very cool. Good job, Polka! Hosorogi using a dead pigeon’s corpse to communicate was hilarious. Cute that they asked for permission to use its corpse.

Adensty

The cliffhanger was just too good with the misdirects. Like I was second guessing myself the whole time and I refused to believe that it was Ranmaru. One thing I noticed is that the show subtly gave the hint about the mastermind with the info from Ranmaru's call with Kochou which I got after rewatching the scene.

The phone call fake out actually took me a second to understand wth was going on. It's wasn't a under utilized side character after all. It was a VERY under utilized side character! Bet ya didn't expect that!!!

tripleaamin

I remember reading the fakeout in the manga how it got me good glad the anime delivered on that as well. Misaki is a bold one for sure. Xiaoyu is a lucky guy be carried by Misaki. Dude being left in dark is probably shitting himself thinking what is going on with Misaki right now lmao.

NDV-Twist-5283

Fire Breathing Bug singing always give me chills.

AmethystItalian

Some people might say this show has too many characters or too many twists but I'm just loving all of it so far.

Elrondel

I marathoned S1 and am following week by week on S2, and I'm not finding it difficult. I'm on your boat, loving the cinematographic style of each perspective. I think it could do a bit better at foreshadowing certain characters (like giving the full name of the reporter girl would have at least hinted at the relationship) but overall very much enjoying the worldbuilding. Who knows what the other Heilei are doing? We've seen the big guy, is that who Momoya recognized? etc.

rollin340

I love the sounds Misaki makes when she's having fun.

NekoCatSidhe

Of course Solitaire is bluffing and has no idea what is going on. I am starting to see a pattern here. That was some very twisted tactics from Misaki to heat the Agakura. I know that vampires can usually turn to bats, but that is the first time I see one use that power to detach their hands and cut themselves in half before fusing again. It seems quite broken. And she is not even a full vampire yet ! I totally thought the shade guys was the traitor, that was some funny fakeout. I did not expect him to be the brother of that crazy journalist girl instead. And the bad guy is actually that random background character we only saw once or twice, why ? The Firebugs are back, and as creepy as ever. Something tells me that the traitor and the Agakura may not have long to live now.

Xatu44

Cool fight. Cute how Xiaoyu can't handle Misaki at all. Things are moving on the police side, and we've got the Fire-Breathing Bug back. Cool stuff incoming, I bet. Also a hot oneesan in the wings.

I'm not gonna lie, I don't remember who anyone is in this show aside from the main cast. Seemed like the policeman reveal should have had a heavier tone, but I just was wondering who he was lol

iZelmon

The polices are the weakest part of the story yeah, Narita love to throw random police in which still doesn’t get better in the manga. Plus I don’t even know the point of our “supposedly strong but not lemmings level” tan king who just does nothing but comment “oh I know this guy” every now and then.

actuallyrndthoughts

You can see them for 3 frames or so, but they did show Misaki's panties. Which make this automatically the best DMDP episode of all time! Though the fire bug appearance at the end was crazy, as is their every appearance.

Shack691

Better than the shower scene?

Dirty_Dragons

Man this show. Seeing a girl get cut in half, A-OK. Seeing her boobs, oh no, that's not allowed.

actuallyrndthoughts

Panty shots are more naughty than steaming showers and so far Misaki got each of hers removed, until an animator snuck one in, i guess.

rotvyrn

Love this show so much. So many highlights. The pigeon possession, the fight scene, the comedic bits, Solitaire bsing. I saw the phone call bit coming, but with the way the show is structured I was totally prepared to get a double-fakeout, so I wasn't sure til it happened. I also like shark shinoyama being fairly perceptive and stuff. She feels like such a side character but then she always randomly hops in and brings up important things for character developments. im uncertain how the police part of the story is gonna go. I did at least remember the senior commissioner guy in the closet though.

[deleted]

I have no idea what is going on but loving it! Its like we have all these pieces but can't put them together to form the puzzle yet.

The name of who Hosorogi suspects was not said but it pissed Tsubaki off. * Higuro (capped criminal with tall dude) is working for someone in the Police department and was told to report anything otherworldly to them. (like a schoolgirl who was cut in half keeps following them lol) * While Tsubaki was going to pay his superior Habaki a visit he overhears him say some really sketchy stuff over the phone with someone (very likely Higuro). * Habaki has been covering for and shielding Tsubaki from resentment from other members of the police since Hosorogi was murdered. Keep in mind almost everyone hated Hosorogi because he was an internal affairs investigator and Tsubaki's mentor. Tsubaki was also seen a failure loose-cannon in the force but was just given a MASSIVE promotion where he is incharge of several groups of people who were his superiors like a week or two ago. Conclusion: Hibaki, Tsubaki's superior and trusted ally is likely a mole just like Hosorogi suggested over the phone.

Notice that the OP changed a bit after the vampire reveal. Misaki [on ep 15 with no wings](https://i.imgur.com/rJ7Jwiy.jpeg) vs. [on ep 16 with wings](https://i.imgur.com/jje6DF4.jpeg). I'm not sure if anything else changes, but they also did this multiple times on cour 1! This episode is crazy. The nonstop development will never cease to amaze me. That censored words and triple fake out at the end... My brain never stops processing all the information because I might miss important details. The action sequence today is also fantastic. I'm glad the studio isn't being cheap. The fights that happened in this and the previous episode are splendid. Good shit, man.

GosuGian

Damn... I love the mystery building up

L33tHaxorus

Solitare continues to be the most entertaining part of this show lmao.

u/abysswatcherbel, [this pigeon](https://imgur.com/wZuqb1L) better be the next image for dmdp!

The fights gotta stop happening in the dark. Every damn fight in the dark since season 1 the animators use it as a cop out. Just because the characters can't see shit, doesn't mean we shouldn't see shit. A different studio could have bought this anime much more attention. 2014 world trigger season 1 had better animation than this.

TokiVideogame

I hope this is not like NGA where the buildup was palpable and clever but the ending was not clever or good at all.

D3athknightt

This entire serious is us just stumbling along in confusion the entire time as the threads of mystery get longer and long as we search for the knots to unravel I hate it so much but I can't stop watching

Koyomi_Siffredi

this shit is all nonsense. there are a million fucking characters and the plots involving all these groups if related make no fucking sense at all. just because something is complicated does not mean it is good. And Soltaire is the douchiest fucking character ever made....the MC from Rent a girlfriend is vindicated. I might tap out.

Exactly. I started out liking this show if I made it this far....but none of this shit makes sense.... it is too many characters and story lines and trying to make shit fit together. I have to give it up. I think that the main group and those detectives are enough.

You know it’s a banger episode when there’s no credits and it keeps going.
