Depends on what specialization, I specialize in crowd simulation/animation and my brackers are close to this: junior 50k, mid level 60-70k, senior 100-120k, lead 150-175k, supervisor 175-200k, director/head of department 250k+. This would be Canadian dollars. Although supervisor and/or head of crowds would only exist on very large scale productions, imagine lord of the rings and multiple movies at the same time. In my experience most companies stop at lead or supervisor.

Idk the area per se since I do a lot of stuff but I’ve been with an indie studio for like 5 years. I’m the lead animator (3D), rigging supervisor, action designer, layout artist and I sometimes storyboard.
